Time of Reading 11:40 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [357]; this we have had before.

2. In many respects we find the body much improved from that as we have had before. There are, of course, still those weaknesses, those inclinations for the system to turn as it were to superacidity in the system. This is a natural condition that arises from the inability for the activities of the lungs to fully make for an oxidization or re-oxidization of of the blood supply - through the inactivity or inability of deep breathing.

3. For the inclinations of the body are to breathe not more than about half the depth, and this is constantly making for strains upon the system. [Incipient tuberculosis?] [See 357-1 on 6/16/33.]

4. With the accumulations of acidity this makes for a hardship upon the eliminating system, and upsets the activity of the general hepatic circulation.

5. As we find in the present, we would first have prepared a keg with brandy. Apple Brandy: half a gallon in a gallon or gallon and a half keg. Keep this corked but with a tube in such a way or manner that the fumes which arise from the evaporation in the vacuum portion of the keg, being kept close to heat, may be inhaled deep into the lungs. This will not be as a curative; it's rather as a preventative, and to insure that there is at least once or twice a day (as this is taken) the deep breathing with the PURIFYING effect of the fumes not only upon the lung and throat and bronchi area but the ability for these to produce upon the mucous membranes such an activity that the circulation may carry FROM the system the poisons; and lessen the effect of the activity of the acidity - or refuse, or dross, or ash of the system as it were in its accumulation in the body.

6. We would find also it would prevent the body from so easily taking cold, or the mucous membranes becoming

inflamed.

7. But through such seasons as the body is entering, or the environs, it is well to beware of cold feet and of getting the feet or body wet or damp, or being too much in the air at night when it is heavily ladened with the natural activities of same in such as damp or rainy weather, in the evenings especially.

8. While it is not necessary that so many of the osteopathic adjustments be taken, we find that these taken occasionally, two or three at a time, would be well; that is, say in two weeks take three treatments, then rest for two or three weeks from them. In this manner we find for the particular condition and for the body, if these are given as GENERAL treatments rather than making specific adjustments - unless there should arise occasion for same by an activity of the body as a to cause some special condition to arise - would be most helpful.

9. The White's Cod Liver Oil tablets would be BETTER as a tonic for the body. Take two about half an hour AFTER the morning meal; two about half an hour after the evening meal.

10. And keep the eliminations well, you see.

11. These are the better for the body.

12. Well that the body keep that constructive attitude of relying upon creative forces within self, as related to the spiritual and mental attitudes of the body (this is referring to mental forces, to be sure). These thoughts as a meditation, as we find would be well:

13. INTO THY KEEPING, HEAVENLY MERCIFUL SPIRIT, I COMMIT MYSELF: IN BODY, IN MIND, IN SPIRIT. HELP THOU ME IN MY CHOICE OF ACTIVITIES OF EVERY NATURE AS TO BECOME MORE AND MORE A LIVING CHANNEL OF BLESSINGS TO OTHERS: THAT I MAY BE A LIGHT IN JESUS, THE CHRIST, TO OTHERS.
