Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [361], present in this room, together with the conditions of his physical, mental and spiritual body, his work and his future welfare, both material and social. You will go into these thoroughly and give specific information regarding same. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [361]; together with activities, purposes, aims, desires.
3. In the physical forces of the body, these we find somewhat improved from those disturbances that have been indicated from time to time.
4. There are in the present some indications of a condition in the caecum area that should have some thought and attention. This needs some corrections osteopathically, sufficient to tone the eliminations as regulated especially through the colon area. These as we find will eliminate those inclinations for the inactivity through the assimilating areas as regulated by activity of pancreas and gall duct, and aid the liver for better elimination - thus aiding in the excretory functioning of same.
5. The specific adjustments are needed in the lumbar and sacral areas, with the 6th and 7th dorsal and from the 9th to the lumbar area. Three to four should be sufficient, provided precautions are taken as to the diet and the keeping of the eliminations in proper accord.
6. As to the activities of the mental and spiritual influences - these are well, in the general aspect. There only needs be kept those inclinations and tendencies for the practical application of those tenets which are the basic influence of the mental forces of the inner self.
7. As to the material activities - these, as we have indicated, may be applied in such manners as to make a success - materially - of ANY chosen field in which the entity might apply self.
361-10 Page 2
8. There are particularly those influences, as we have indicated, in which the entity might apply self - in associations with a governmental activity as of corporations, of city, even of state or county. For the entity is particularly adapted to those activities in the directions of keeping records, or applying self in a channel in which great numbers of individuals may be served or may receive careful attention that would not only endear the entity or body and its abilities to many, but give the entity the opportunity for the outlet of abilities innate in the experience from those very forces as we have indicated are a part of the entity.
9. As to the social life - this is a matter of choice. Such things, as we have so oft indicated, are not to be used as means or manners for gaining any activity that is not based upon the proper relationships or concepts of that which is the ideal of the entity. For he that is the greatest among any group is the servant of all. And this applies in the social, in the material, in the mental, as well as the activities in every phase of an entity's experience.
10. These we would keep, then, much in the manner as HAS been - and as the purposes are innate and manifested in the experience at this time.
11. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) Of what foods should I beware? (A) Those that are excessively acid-producing. Those that have been indicated of too much carbonated waters, or those foods that produce an excess of fermentation in their activity. These are then rather as warnings, as to characters or combinations. As cheese, spaghetti and white breads - no two of these at the same meal; nor potatoes with quantities of fat. Not that either or any of these may not be taken, but it is the combination of these that becomes harmful. Not too many of raw apples, unless they are of the Jonathan variety or of such nature.
13. (Q) Is it necessary for me to wear glasses? (A) Not as yet, and especially if there is the cleansing or purifying of the system by those corrections which we have indicated.
14. (Q) How may I relieve the soreness in my joints? (A) By eliminating the poisons in the system that are the cause of pressures in these directions.
15. (Q) How may I cleanse my body of the poisons that exist in it?
361-10 Page 3
(A) As has been indicated.
16. (Q) What is cause and relief for the irritation in my throat and chest? (A) This comes more from the disturbance in the liver and gall duct area than from the chest itself, though the reflection or the pain is there. With the cleansing of the system, especially those areas about the caecum and ascending colon, we will find that the throat and the nasal passages will be cleared.
17. (Q) Any suggestion regarding my spleen and appendix? (A) These are what we have been talking about!
18. (Q) Have I overcome the lack of Life Force in which I was deficient at birth? (A) The body is growing out of same, but there needs to be the balance kept in those directions indicated.
19. (Q) How may I be relieved of constipation? (A) By the diets as well as the activities to bring about proper elimination. Drink more water!
20. (Q) How may I overcome the nervousness and irritation from which I suffer? (A) By removing the pressures as we have indicated.
21. (Q) Please mention one particular branch of government in which I should work. (A) As indicated, whether it is a corporation, a city, a county, a state or a nation - where there are the needs for the records being kept, where there is the close association with the INDIVIDUALS. These are the branches of such service that would be the outlet for the greater activity. This may eventually lead to political affiliations - but these are the manners or the branches or the channels through which such service should go.
22. (Q) Is the work in which I am now engaged a stepping-stone toward my life's work? (A) It certainly can be made to be such!
23. (Q) How may I better use this opportunity? (A) Just the application of self in doing just a little bit more than is expected of self at all times.
24. (Q) May I expect financial advancement in my present work, with that added responsibilities as has been suggested? (A) There will be - and this within the next few months.
25. (Q) What is my seal? (A) This would require a great deal of interpreting of those influences and forces as have been indicated. We will give this later.
26. (Q) Will it be well for [...], ... St., ..., Florida,
361-10 Page 4
and me to marry in this experience? Please advise. (A) This will depend a great deal upon those developments in the experience of each. These associations may be very well, but it would be well to parallel the life or experience of that entity as to thine own, before making such decisions; and this will need consideration of some time yet.
27. (Q) How may I be of more help and benefit to my mother? (A) Do those things, be those things that ye know give her pleasure. Not merely as to the material gains. For those things that are not bought with money supply happiness that brings the feeling aroused in such an association that cannot be compared to any MATERIAL benefits.
28. (Q) Please give me at this time some spiritual advice that will aid me mentally, physically and spiritually in meeting the responsibilities of life. (A) This may be put in very few words, that ye may hold to eternally: KNOW in Whom ye have believed. Trust Him, even as He has trusted you with the bringing of the knowledge of His LIVING - now; experiencing - NOW His Consciousness within thine own life, the life of others. He IS - NOW! And to this ye should hold; as thy strength, thy light, thy life!
