1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [361], present in this room, together with the conditions surrounding him physically, mentally, and spiritually, his present work and associations, his future outlook and what he should do in regard to the defense program of the United States of America. You will go into the conditions thoroughly and will give specific information and advice that may be easily understood regarding same. You will answer the questions that are submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind [361], present in this room; the problems, the perplexities, the activities, the associations and relations.
3. In giving that as we find will be helpful for this entity in the present, it is well that there be the consideration as from what premise such information would be drawn; its sources, its validity, its adaptability or applicability in the experience of the entity.
4. As is understood, that which comes into the experience of each entity is first conceived in spirit and then through the mental abilities builded to that which is the choice, and the result then may be preconceived or at least visioned; dependent upon whether such activities as chosen are dependent upon the thought and the movement of others, - and as to what extent such IS dependent on the change of attitude, change of environ, change of purposes or aims.
5. This entity, as has been given, has definite problems, definite work, many conditions definitely to which the entity may easily adapt itself in its relationships and dealings with others.
6. As to the first premise in the present - those conditions that are to be brought about by the choice of the government as in relationships to the given ages must in themselves be conceived and reckoned with, as respecting conditions in the present.
7. Whether or not the entity should submit or offer self in
361-11 Page 2
service for three to five years is dependent upon the choice of the entity respecting such. If there is the desire for the choice of such in some specific field, because of its opportunities for advancement in some given direction or not, to be sure that as would come under the ordinance department should be the choice. To be sure, under the direction of being drafted, or by selective draft, would not give the opportunity in the same manner as if there were the offering of self and the willingness or desire for service in a specific direction.
8. Yet as we find, the problems, the conditions for which the entity is best fitted are NOT in such a choice - unless there WERE the opportunities of the entity to select the ORDINANCE department of such a service; and then we find that the entity would be particularly fitted, not only in a social but in a political and in an economic way and manner.
9. This too, however, is to be a choice of the entity itself - as to whether to offer self in those channels or not.
10. As to the problems in the preparation of self for the life's work, which should be more in keeping with a social and a political way or manner - these as we find would thus necessitate that the body use the present association, present environs, for making - or USING such in acquaintanceships, in social activities to make - a choice for some coming or rising town, or small city - if this appeals to the entity; whether in the Carolinas, either of these, or in the western part of the present State, would depend again upon the entity's choice. But these, as indicated, may lead then to the making of those contacts necessary, those preparations that FIT the entity for activities in the definite service as the supervisor of county or state, or city ordinance, or ordinance departments; as will be in keeping with that which is adaptable to the abilities from the activities of the entity through those experiences in the earth's plane. [See 361-12, Par. 9-A on 10/4/40.]
11. Thus the associations in the choice of companion IN this experience, as also a contact, a stepping-stone for such, would be well for the entity to consider; in choosing place, location, environ or vicinity for this activity in the life's work.
12. As to those problems, desires and purposes - know, as has been indicated, that whatever the purpose or the desire it must have the prompting of the spiritual ideals, and then be applied in the mental activities, mental abilities, mental associations, for the social, the political

activities, and such that bring about those channels through which choices may lead the entity into those channels that have been indicated as the outlets for the abilities of the entity.
13. Ready for questions.
14. (Q) Regarding the physical - what is the cause and cure for the knot on my ear, and constant clearing my throat? (A) Partially a glandular disturbance and partially a nervousness. Specific adjustments in the 3rd and 4th dorsal, and the second and third and fourth cervical should clear the condition, and make for a better circulation through those portions of the body. As for the knot on the ear, that is a clogged cell. We would massage this twice a day, gently - not hard, with an equal combination of Mutton Tallow (melted), Spirits of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor. This as a dissolvent, with the osteopathic corrections, should clear same.
15. (Q) Cause and cure for the weak feelings, and the dizziness and fainting with which I have recently suffered? (A) The same sources.
16. (Q) Why am I so easily irritated? (A) Incoordination between sympathetic and cerebrospinal circulation, by the pressures in the areas outlined.
17. (Q) What is the cause and cure for the quivering of left eye after strain? (A) Weakness in the general nervous system. The stimulating effect of the treatments, and the general system coordinated with same, should relieve such conditions.
18. (Q) What is cause and cure for the breaking out on my left leg? (A) Poor elimination and nervous condition in the body. Have the adjustments as indicated; then watching the diet closely, keeping away from too much grease, will relieve the disturbance.
19. (Q) Why is it that when I get hit or bumped I get sore inside? (A) Just as indicated, the poor coordination between cerebrospinal and sympathetic nerve system, as indicated.
20. (Q) Does my heart beat normally, if not how can I relieve this? (A) The heart beats normally to those disturbances that exist. With the corrections, it should be perfect in its rhythm.
21. (Q) How can I break myself of the habit of constantly wetting my lips? (A) Better not do it, unless you make better corrections in the system!

22. (Q) What is a good laxative for me? (A) Do this more with diet than with drugs or medicines. Fruits and vegetables, alternated or changed, or special fruits or special vegetables, will change these conditions.
23. (Q) Are cigarettes harmful to me? (A) In moderation, not harmful. To excess, they only add to the nervous strain.
24. (Q) What is a good compound for rubbing my joints? (A) An equal combination of Olive Oil and Peanut Oil.
25. (Q) Is the work that I am doing too strenuous for me? (A) Only when the body allows same to become overtaxing because of anxiety due to some disagreement; then it becomes taxing to the body.
26. (Q) Please advise me as to how I can show a better attitude to my present work and employers, and members of the family and friends? (A) This is MORE a state of attitude than anything else; though the physical condition, of course, as indicated, of the nerves, has much to do with the attitude. But don't use this as an excuse! Rather have corrections made, and be content. That is practised, as is patience, as is the attaining of any of the virtues pertaining to the fruits of spiritual things and conditions in the experience of relationships to others.
27. (Q) Please give me advice that will help me improve my memory? (A) This, of course, is a matter of practice, and can be improved if there is used any course of memory tests - as the numbers, names, places, positions or what not; so it is in keeping with the physical activities of the body.
28. (Q) What should I have for a hobby? (A) One may be made for you, unless a choice is made! pertaining to the defense problems that are before all. As we find, any electrical gadgets or any of wood carving, or the like, are a good hobby for this body. Making things!
29. (Q) Please give me some spiritual advice. (A) None better may be given than - first know thy ideal, and the author of same - physical, mental and spiritual; and then study to show self approved unto that choice made, - never condemning self nor others in their choices or their activities. Know that when ye choose that which is the ideal of constructive thinking, constructive activity, constructive meditating, ye are on the Lord's side - and if the Lord be with thee, who can be against thee?
30. (Q) Please give me an affirmation? (A) LORD, HERE AM I! USE ME, IN THE MANNER AND THE WAY THOU SEEST THAT I MAY BEST MANIFEST THEE IN THE EARTH! LET MY

GOING IN, MY COMING OUT, BE ACCEPTABLE IN THY SIGHT DAY BY DAY. AND MAY I EVER LIVE, ACT, THINK, THAT WHAT I DO AND SAY WILL BE IN KEEPING WITH THY WILL.
