Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern War Time.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [361], U.S.A. 10th Naval District, San Juan, Puerto Rico, together with his present physical condition, the present world conflict and his place in same; his present work, his opportunities for getting into the Quartermaster and going to school; how he may go about grasping these opportunities; his mental and spiritual attitudes; the length of time that will be necessary for him to be in the service; his work after the war and what plans to make toward his life's work; his life companion that has previously been suggested through this source; the possibility and advisability of a furlough to come home. You will go into each of these thoroughly and give definite information, counsel and advice that may be easily understood by him.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the inquiring mind, [361].
3. Much of this may be given that would not be advisable to attempt to deliver in or through such messages, but may be given in suggestions in another direction or manner.
4. As to physical forces and surroundings, there are great expectations about the body and about activities in this particular district in the present. (And best not mention these in the present.)
5. The physical forces, these as we find in the main are very good. There are those precautions that need to be taken respecting this particular district or activity. We find that some of these precautions are being taken, but be very mindful that there are good or better eliminations kept. These as we find, with the regular exercise, the regular attention in those suggestions that have been made for the body as to its diet and the general mental attitudes towards itself and conditions about it, will bring better physical forces for the body.
6. As to its associations in the present - we find that, from the present environments and activities in the office, there may be made the leading to that as may carry the

entity into that service which has been indicated as the better channels for the body. While it may require the insistence, we find that if it is source, there may be the leading to a greater stabilizing of self in those fields of service that have been indicated for the body, when there is the cessation of hostilities. Though it may require a longer period of time that the body would be associated in government service, we find that this would not be amiss at that period of the settling of conditions in general throughout the world.
7. These, then, we would keep in mind. Get into that character of service that has been indicated for the entity. This as we find, by the latter portion of the spring or through the summer, should lead not only to a furlough but a change to the regular division while on such furlough - for the Quartermaster service. There will need to be the insistency for these, as we find, by the body, for that character of service. But at that period there may be the expectancy for such changes, through the length or period of service, and the opportunity for a furlough; for these will be in keeping one with another. And these should come about in this year, and in the late spring or in the summer sometime.
8. It may not be best that these be written, but they may be indicated in other manners to the entity; to be or keep rather insistent in that phase of the service. For that will be more beneficial in the material as well as in the mental satisfaction of the entity, not only in the service to the country but in the preparation of those abilities of the entity in the after service in the country, to its general activity.
9. In relationships to the companion, we find there may be already the knowledge of such an one. This, of course, depends upon choices of the entity itself - as indicated. But this should be a correlated agreement, and it may be made to be a helpful experience for this entity.
10. Advice and counsel respecting the mental attitude, - keep that thou knowest to do. Pray often - not as rote but in sincerity, in purposefulness; that ye may indeed be a channel of blessings, of helpfulness to others. In whatever capacity ye may be able to serve, do it to the glory of God, to the honor of the country.
11. In that attitude ye will find there will come that peace, that satisfaction in whatever ye may be called to do, that does not come from mere orders or duty or obligation. But consider such as an opportunity of being a witness-bearing individual entity to the glory of God and to

the honor of self and country. And in that manner will ye find the greater contentment; not being satisfied, ever. For, when one becomes satisfied, usually one becomes listless.
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) Will I be able to go to school and take the training as was promised through this source in a reading October 1940? (A) As indicated, this should come with that period when there would be those opportunities for the furlough and for change to the regular Quartermaster activity. And this as we find should come as indicated. However, it is not well that this be written as such to the entity, but may be INDICATED, see?
14. (Q) How much longer will it be necessary for me to remain in the Service? (A) Not so much as to how long it may be necessary, but how WELL ye may serve where ye are! As indicated for the entity in entering same, enter not as because of a duty but because of an opportunity. In entering the Quartermaster service it will require longer period in service then in that character of opportunity or job in the present, but it will prepare the entity for the after-conditions as indicated should be done.
15. (Q) Regarding the life companion, would [...] be this helpful companion? [See 361-16, Par. R2.] (A) As given, this must be the choice of self; not from here. Do their associations come in that category of not merely of mind, not merely of body attraction, but of the spirit answering to spirit, purpose answering to purpose? Have ye the same ideal? If you haven't be careful!
16. (Q) Is there a special message to me regarding the present conflict throughout the world? (A) None other than that given before - study to show thyself approved unto God - thy ideal; a workman not ashamed, ever; rightly stressing each phase of the activity, keeping self unspotted from condemnation of self or of others. Know that each soul is in that environ where it may serve best, if it uses the Master's Influence as its guide.
