1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [365], and those conditions physically that disturb the body.

2. Now, as we find, there are specific conditions that cause the disturbed forces of the body; these have to do with the functioning of the organs as related to the assimilations for the body.

3. These are the conditions, then, as we find them with this body, [365] we are speaking of:

4. The BLOOD SUPPLY indicates the anemic condition that exists in the system, a deficiency in quality and quantity of the red blood supply, scarce being at times sufficient to store energy for the full resuscitation of the active forces in the system; hence the poor circulation; hence the tendencies for the body outwardly to be susceptible to cold and heat, especially to colds and congestion, through the body attempting to adjust itself to changes; hence the numbness at times in the extremities, fingers, feet and lower limbs.

5. In the NERVE SYSTEM these conditions are rather reflex, as we find along the nervous system in many of the centers and ganglia; and the disturbance or the cause produces the conditions of the nerve system and systems, rather than being produced or caused or disturbed in particular centers; yet the very nature of the conditions must be taken into consideration when there are those applications for corrections of the specific as well as general disturbance, for the nerve centers in attempting to adjust themselves to the disorders have made for tendencies to be overactive and not coordinating properly between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system. Oft may it be said that the mental and physical activities of the body have gone on acting on impulses, or on the nerves themselves.

6. As to the physical organism, or ORGANS and their functioning, the specific disturbance we find as related to

365-1 Page 2

the functioning of the liver, especially as related to the gall ducts and their activities for the system. This inactivity and tendency for the strangulations there produce those spells or conditions of nausea, the unhealthy look or color at times for the body, the bad tastes that arise and the tendency for the breath to be in a manner offensive at times. These are from poor digestion, and poor elimination and assimilation, caused by the disturbances in this particular area; not that there isn't some functioning and some activities at times, yet there is the inability to be in an active manner for the better digestion, for the better assimilation, making for the strain put upon the hepatic circulation, cold feet as the result of poor circulation and especially the circulation being heavier towards the central part of the body and to the brain, from the very activities of the mental body, makes for this tendency. The inactivity of the alimentary canal, tendency towards constipation and the incoordinative activity of the kidneys, all are results, as are many of the nerve conditions, the inability to sleep or rest well, tendency for insomnia and at times melancholia, which arise from these conditions specifically.

7. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions, this would be the manner in which to bring about the proper corrections, as we find:

8. First we would begin with the general manipulations osteopathically given. After the second treatment begin with the sinusoidal electrical vibrations, that will make for the pulsations through the gall duct area to empty the gall bladder, to stimulate the activity with the form of electrical vibration that would pass through the same; this not too severe, but sufficient to FORCE the activity; and then the manipulation to the centers to keep the impulses properly distributed to make for better coordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system.

9. Add to the system at first those food values in the diet that will be easily assimilated, gradually adding strength and vitality to the system through the diet.

10. Keep up the treatments until the disorders as related to the digestive system, the headaches, the pains in eyes, those reactions to the sensory system, all forms of the dizziness, bad taste and reactions disappear.

11. The diet in the beginning would be rather as this:

12. Mornings - citrous fruit, with a little stimuli of a cereal drink; any drink that is palatable and that is cereal in its base; not coffee or tea, neither will milk in the beginning agree with the body, but such as cocoa and ANY of such drinks that are palatable for the body; butter, cakes -

365-1 Page 3

corn cakes - all of these are well, but not too much of any syrups. Honey in the honeycomb may be taken towards the first.

13. Noons - vegetable soups, broths or the like; not sandwiches, not dried bread or the like. With the soup there may be taken the Graham or Whole Wheat breads, or such cakes, crackers or the like.

14. Evenings - a full vegetable meal; that is, of the leafy nature, with steak, mutton or fowl; all well-cooked but not fried; rather baked, broiled, or the like.

15. In keeping these balanced, it will be necessary that they be changed from time to time, that there may be an increase in the amount of the blood supply. DO NOT, however, overcrowd the stomach or digestive system until there has been a cleansing of these ducts and glands, and the activity of the liver. Then these may be gradually increased.

16. The addition of cod liver oil in some forms (especially as in White's Tablets) would be well; two tablets after each meal, or the like. Olive oil may also be added, if taken in VERY small doses; but do not crowd the system with this so that it becomes rancid and overactive; take only that sufficient to be assimilated by and in the system.

17. It would also be well that occasionally there be a cleansing of the colon, that these drosses might be eliminated that will be thrown into the system by the use of the sinusoidal in its reverse way, through the vibrations, through the ducts of the liver, especially the lacteals and the gall ducts.

18. These treatments will bring for the body a normal balance, and in a few months we would find a steady increase in the abilities to store energy; the vitality will be restored in the system.

19. This condition has arisen from an old form of catarrh, as we see, that existed in the internal system.

20. Do as we have given.

21. Ready for questions.

22. The sinusoidal should be given about two or three times each week, PREFERABLY after the manipulation has been given on the same day, or same period, see? Whether this is morning or evening doesn't matter, but it is WELL that the body have as much rest as possible following such treatments.

23. (Q) Where should sinusoidal be applied? (A) Just read what we have given, what is to be done, and common sense should tell where it must be applied! Those radial plexus from the cerebrospinal system which act to the

365-1 Page 4

organs that are to be affected, one anode is placed there; and the other over the ducts themselves. Then turn on the juice, but don't turn it on like foolishness and cause too much reaction!

24. (Q) Why am I losing so much hair? (A) No stimulation to the system to prevent it from it. These treatments will make for better conditions in system, and with the applications of those things given to assist the scalp this should be remedied. It's not only the losing of hair, but all over the body it's the same way! These will bring better conditions for the body.

25. (Q) Any further advice for my benefit? (A) Do as we have given.
