1. GC: You will have before you the body of [367] ..., Ill., and the information given through these sources on Friday morning, June 30, 1933. Please explain to us the seeming discrepancy of the description of this body's condition in paragraph five, compared with the physical cause of the conditions existent at this time.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [367], those conditions that exist with the body and the information as transcribed here.
3. In the information there is one discrepancy in transcription, where the description is given as of an attack to the muscular forces of bacilli producing a paresis, or paralysis in the form of infantile paralysis - or like same; but there is left out (and look at the notes and it will be seen) "NOT infantile paralysis".
4. Then, in this discrepancy rests the feelings that naturally exist, in the fact that the entering of the projectile - or injury from the exterior - shattered a portion of the vertebrae; and the attack is that which produces the contraction of the muscles about the vertebrae so disturbed or broken.
5. But, if there will be given the rub as indicated, over portions of the body, and those mechanical vibrations that aid in equalizing the circulation - with the continued use of those adjustments that aid in establishing coordination as developments go, as we find, this body may be materially aided.

7. (Q) [367] ever walk? If so, how soon? (A) As we find, this depends - to be sure - upon how well the alignment is made and kept, as we have indicated, in the DEVELOPING body. For, not only is the structural portion changing - and being gradually RENEWED from time to time, but the whole body MENTALLY and physically also is changing. If this is kept in alignment, he should - with a brace - be able, within eighteen months, to navigate; or locomotion

should be established. There is the inability of the functioning of the lower portion of the alimentary canal, or through the arse [orifice] itself - and anus. With the vibrations, with the rubbing of the body with those properties given, this portion would be enlivened and give the assistance necessary for the use of those injections; though this, of course, will be a gradual growth.
8. (Q) Is there any possibility of relieving his paralysis? (A) As we have outlined, we will find that this will be relieved; for we will establish - through the massage, through the adjustments, through the mechanical applications and the compound - the nerves that will respond in such a manner as to make for activities.
9. (Q) What should be done to give him the best mental attitude? (A) Keep the surroundings, of course, in an optimistic manner. And let there be builded the mental attitudes in the body, that the activities may be that the self is able to carry on in such a manner as to bring the very best that may be manifested in and through and under the existent conditions; and that self must meet each condition with that fortitude and that faith that is to carry on, as every soul should - when it does not become so self-centered, so self-imposed, that its own personality, its own self, becomes the most important, rather than that which may be accomplished through its efforts for HIS kingdom.
