1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [372] present in this room, and his business associations and relations, including both the real estate and shoe business in ..., Long Island. You will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding these.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [372], and those business associations and relations as respecting this body. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) Should body continue shoe business? (A) As we would find, it would be well to continue shoe business at the present, for there will be much better opportunity for disposal of same (if it then desired) in the latter portion of summer or early fall, then at present. [See 372-4, Par. R2.]
4. (Q) Should location be changed? (A) No.
5. (Q) Should body continue real estate business? (A) CONTINUE real estate business.
6. (Q) What business should body concentrate on mostly? (A) For the body's OWN self, and the better development for self, the real estate business.
7. (Q) Suggest any change that will benefit body physically and materially? (A) In the concentration, as is given, this is taken into consideration - for the varied intercourse, also the outside influences, are all taken into consideration from the physical, also from the material standpoint. In the consideration of the continuation in interests, these are taken into consideration - that there are often times and periods when, for the body-physical AND the body-mental, it well to concentrate in DIFFERENT directions. Do not overtax the body in physical manner in either direction, but rather as the natural consequences of the endeavors being placed properly, and the time would be well spent in both directions.
8. (Q) Any further advice for the body along any of these

lines, or that will assist in improving either business? (A) These are continuing very good; not at all times satisfactory, but under the conditions and the surroundings these are very good. Do not worry about them, but rather see that each line, each endeavor, as to an individual association with individuals - whether as to retail shoes, or as to the handling of the real estate propositions as come - THESE, handled in the manner in which the body is capable, will be satisfactory. Do that.
9. (Q) Should he take in any partners in either? (A) Better that these be taken in as help, rather than as partners.
