Time of Reading Spring Valley, 11:00 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [372]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, the body feels a little improved this morning from what has been the disturbance.

3. In many ways and manners we find there are many changes since last we had the body; some are good, some are not so well.

4. There is, from those conditions that formerly existed respecting the heart's action and the general disturbance in the metabolism of the system, the tendency for the nerve forces in the system - that supply the impulse through many portions of the circulation - to work not automatically; thus producing incoordination.

5. Hence we find times when there are these effects - not all at the same time, but at different times; though at times they may follow closely one with another:

6. A feeling somewhat of nausea from the pit of the stomach, with a tingling or trembling sensation in the extremities of the body at others; at others we find severe headaches, and a general let-down feeling all over.

7. As we would find, while we would not change a great deal from the manner in which the properties have been given from time to time that are as sedatives or as stimulants to the circulation, there must be brought a much more perfect coordination in the body if there would be much improvement.

8. Then, once a week - or more if felt necessary - have a cabinet sweat bath. This will of necessity require that precautions be taken that the body is not allowed to get overheated, and that ice be kept on the head at all times when this is taken - see?

9. Get a thorough reaction from such sweat bath; then, following same, there should be a salt glow (rubbing with salt, you see).

10. Then, preferably following the alcohol rub (after the salt glow), massage along the cerebrospinal system, commencing from the solar plexus center and rubbing down and then from the solar plexus center and rubbing up - not commencing up at the head and rubbing all the way down, not commencing at the bottom and rubbing all the way up; but from the centers towards the locomotaries of the lower portion of body, as much as the body will absorb of this combination.

11. To 2 ounces of rub alcohol, add: Russian White Oil...............1 ounce, Witchhazel......................1 ounce, Oil of Sassafras..............1/4 ounce. This, when massaged along the spine, will tend to make for a better superficial coordination in nerve and blood supply impulse from the centers in the cerebrospinal system. In this rub, particular attention should be given to the solar plexus, the lumbar plexus, the brachial plexus - see?

12. Be mindful of the diet that there is not an overloading at any time of the digestive tract.

13. Even though it becomes necessary for the use of enemas, be sure there is the thorough evacuation of the intestinal tract each day.

14. We would be mindful that the diet carries those properties that are blood building, especially; those food values that make for nerve and blood building, as found in lettuce, celery, liver (when it is broiled, not fried), fish occasionally, and then a general diet - but plenty of these should be taken at all times.

15. Ready for questions.
