Time of Reading ..., Ave. 11:30 to 12:00 Noon Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y.
1. MD: You will have before you the [378] family, ... Ave., ..., N.Y., in their seeking to manifest His love during this hour of trial. You will give them that needed, to enable them to carry on in the way He would have them, and answer the questions which they have submitted, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have those conditions that present themselves as problems and as experiences in the affairs of the household - [378]'s ... Ave., ..., N.Y. These we have had before, and we have given the manners in which they should be met and carried on at this time - as we find.
3. That burdens have become too heavy for some in this household, that conditions have made the activities in the present as the plausible things, should not be condemned by any. For, while under the stress and strain, other measures than to carry on under the existent conditions seemed apparently to the body the better way out. Then, wait on those movements in the present. Not that there would be the sitting still and not investigating through the channels that have been indicated, but fear not but what that which is best will come from all those turmoils that have arisen.
4. As to those things that are as speculations in the minds of some, as to whether the body's determination to end the present experience has been acted upon - this will become known in its own time and season, as to what has been the ultimate outcome of same. As we find, it will adjust itself in a manner that to all is a testing period of that they hold as their ideal in the relationships of individuals to others of their own household, of their own dealings with the affairs of others, of their own concept of the manifestations of the powers of the Creative Forces - or God - in and among His peoples.
5. It may be oft asked by many in and without: "If God loves them, if God be with them, if their ideals are those that bespeak of eternal life and of the continuity of the consciousness in both the material and the spiritual life,

why may not there be given that which would satisfy them as to whether this body has done that deed to separate him from the body or whether it has lost itself in the throes of distrust and disorder?"
6. The same may have been asked, or was said of Him: "If he be God, let him come down from the cross and we will believe."
7. Is this cross, then, greater than His? Is this burden greater than that He was called on to bear? Then, each soul must seek rather that answer within itself. For, HIS desire - Mr. [378]'s desire - builds as great a wall of resistance between the known and the unknown as may be built by any desire on the part of individuals. For, each is the test of that they hold as their ideal. And, as given, there should not be sought through such channels that which would prevent any soul from meeting that which is its own cross to bear. As to HOW a soul may meet such a cross, yes! As to how it may act that will be in keeping with that which may bring for itself the greater contentment in knowing that His ways are not past finding out, yes! For, His ways are revealed in and through His own access to those that seek to know the Christ life.
8. Then, keep the heart and mind and soul aright. Know that there must be met in every life those things that may be put in His care, and say:
9. "God, thy will be done! Thou knowest the weaknesses of the flesh. Thou knowest the purpose of every soul. Be thou the guide. Direct our words, keep our hearts, make that burden in his soul CLEAN through the promises thou hast given in thy Son that if we cast our burdens on Him He will be faithful to succor and aid in the hour of trail and temptation. Be with us, with him, and let the words of our mouth and the meditations of our hearts be acceptable in Thy sight, my Lord, my Redeemer, the Christ!"
10. Ready for questions.
11. (Q) Do you mean the wife should make no attempt to locate him? (A) We did not say "no attempt." But through those channels as indicated. And wait for that which may be accomplished in carrying on those things that are in keeping with God's plans.
12. (Q) Are the family and Mrs. [509] doing everything possible for them to do? (A) Doing well. Keep the faith. Pray the prayer, and mean it, live it, as is given.
13. (Q) Give further advice for them that will aid them in fulfilling God's work.
378-19 Page 3
(A) Do that as given.
14. (Q) Is he assuming a different name? (A) No. Is he alive, or has he passed on? Let that tell thee that will come to pass, but in His name. HIS desire prevents that which might be given in yes or no; for, he LIVES - EVER.
15. (Q) Is there any other advice, material or spiritual, that would be given at this time? (A) That which we have given, for the present. We may seek further.
