In seeking to make self, with all of the material, mental and spiritual development, in accord with divine influences and purposes, those that make their lives and activities in material or mental in accord with the laws that are manifested in the spiritual attributes seen in a material world, the application makes the growth as is spoken of; ye grow in grace, in knowledge, in understanding of the ways He would have thee go.
3. Not merely with lip service. Not merely with mental desire - that is born of that which is the rule or standard of application of that the mind, the body finds to do - but in truth and in the inner self crying, "LORD, USE ME! LET THAT WHICH THOU SEEST IS BEST BE DONE IN ME, THROUGH ME, AT THIS TIME.
