Time of Reading 3:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion - special emphasis to pain in right side of abdomen and back)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [379], present in this room, and those conditions physically that disturb the body.
2. Now, as we find, there are conditions disturbing the physical forces of the body. These in some respects have been of long standing, or the causes of the conditions that disturb the body have been gradually builded by the disorders of functioning organs, until conditions have become acute in the right side of abdomen, or in the caecum area and in the transverse colon, by the pressure that has been produced on other organs and through the nerve disturbance brings about the disorders in other functionings in the system.
3. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [379] we are speaking of, present in this room:
4. In the BLOOD SUPPLY we find there are indications of there having existed for some time a torpidity in the liver and its excretory functioning. This has allowed the accumulations that have produced those acute conditions, with the accumulations in the ascending colon, that has made for specific disorders, as well as the indications that are seen in the blood stream by poisons that are allowed to accumulate, producing other forces and a strain on the activities of the digestive system, by the non-action of the liver in its secreting properly for the proper assimilation in system; so that indigestion through the lower intestinal system makes for the accumulations and plethora in the colon proper.
5. Also in other portions of the body do we find effects of the activities of these accumulations, for they being carried in the system cause, through regurgitation to the stomach proper, a form of catarrh in stomach itself, so that the reaction has produced that which prevents the formation of the lactic fluids in the system, so that when digestion
379-1 Page 2
takes place these have more often, by their accumulations, brought about those conditions where heaviness is produced in head; headaches, dull feeling in the stomach, the extremities feel as if they are pulsating heavily; and there is a tendency for drowsiness at times when the activities should be more active, or toxic forces arising from same. These are shown in the effects of the circulation, as given, by torpidity in the excretory functioning of liver.
6. In the NERVOUS SYSTEM, ordinarily the conditions in the nerve forces are very good. Under the existent circumstances do we find those strains or pressures on nerve plexus and ganglia, that have made those tendencies for hot and cold sensations at times, and the feeling of uneasiness in the whole torso of the body; tendency for the reactions in the functioning of the kidneys and the bladder, making for abnormal reactions in these directions. These are not even functional disorders, but rather of functional overactive or underactive produced by the nerve pressures as from those centers, ganglia, and the lymph and emunctories being under stressful nerve pressures from poisons or accumulations in system.
7. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, as may be seen from those conditions that make for the disorders, there are more or less disturbances spasmodically, or varying according to the functioning of the organs as to the amount or as to the stress of the disorder. The poisons make for those tendencies at times for the mental activities or reflexes to be unable to recall just as much as the body would like, unable to retain just that which is ordinary with the body; tendency for a fullness in the throat, making for those forces as phlegm to arise, or sputum, or a clearing of throat to make the proper circulation. These are reflex actions, and not other than the disturbances that have been gradually coming on the system through those disturbances in the liver itself, affecting other organs in their functioning, gradually building such reflexes as seen. At times it is easy for cold to be taken; or for the eyes to disturb the body, burning rather at times; then the hearing appears at times not as acute as at others.
8. In the lungs, we find with these stresses, there is a greater amount of accumulations attempting to be eliminated through other channels of the system, as the alimentary canal, the functioning of the kidneys, the respiratory system, and there is a tendency for the effects to be thrown off in the activity of the lungs. This at times makes a feeling of fullness, yet no disorder other than of poisons attempting to be thrown from the system by the activity of
379-1 Page 3
the respiratory actions.
9. Heart's action, under the conditions, is normal.
10. Digestive system, as indicated, shows a mild form of catarrhal condition in the muco-membrane or lining of the stomach itself. This is shown more in the present than it has been sometimes in the past, though there have been periods in the past when there was a greater amount of accumulations in the stomach itself proper, as is indicated by the lining, the position of stomach, the thickening of the walls, and those activities about same.
11. In the liver, then, do we find the greater cause, or the seat of disorders. These conditions, in conjunction with the excretory functioning, make the activity in the gall ducts and those glands in the lacteals, or the lacteal glands that make for secretions from the liver, from the gall duct, from the pancreas, from the spleen, in their activity; these being lessened by the inability of the muscular forces to produce such activity, by the torpidity, has made for that form of digestion that is BELOW the stomach itself proper; yet often the regurgitation comes back, or sours in the stomach, tending for an over amount of belching at times; and those forces make for the drying of the intestinal reaction, until the acute condition has arisen of plethora in the ascending colon itself. The pressures there, upon those organs of the pelvis, makes for those acute pains across the small of the back, the tendency for those ducts that lead to the discharges of system through the pelvic organs to make for a nervousness, and a tendency to make heaviness in the lower limbs, making acute pains in portions of the pelvis, small of back, through the sacrum and sacral region.
12. These are the conditions as we find them with this body.
13. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions in the present, we find that there ARE reliefs already for much of the conditions; but to remove the acute condition and not correct the cause of the condition means that there should be, and will be, the recurrent conditions in the system of the stresses or pressures being produced, until there is some kind or character of inflammation that may become more acute even in other portions of the system.
14. First we would again cleanse the system, with not so much those actions in the system of cathartics, but rather those that will act with the gastric juices of the system in such a manner as to create for the activity of the eliminating system those tendencies of their acting under the impulses of the functioning organs of the system. At the same time we would add such stimuli, such corrections to
379-1 Page 4
the organs that are involved primarily in the condition that will stimulate to their normal functioning, replenishing them with those activities that will make for the action of a normal functioning system.
15. Begin, then, as this:
16. The first day we would take two tablespoonsful of Milk of Magnesia.
17. Next day take a tablespoonful of Milk of Bismuth. With the Bismuth add ten to fifteen drops of Lactated Pepsin.
18. The next day we would take a high enema that will relieve the pressures in the descending and transverse colon, allowing those activities through the caecum, the jejunum and the ascending colon to become nearer normal, using in the enema Glyco-Thymoline as an intestinal antiseptic.
19. For the next two days take internally, twice during the day, three to four drops of Glyco-Thymoline.
20. During this period we would be mindful that the diet is such that makes for the activity in the jejunum, the duodenum, as near normal to the amounts of the lacteals and the acids as possible, that will make for normal digestions. As these:
21. Mornings - citrus fruits, or stewed fruits.
22. Noons - nut kernels and fruits. These should be those that will make for a well-balancing. The nut kernels should be almonds, English walnuts, filberts, or the like; not the American walnuts or pecans, or the like, at first - these furnish too much oils to become soured with the amount of acids that exist in the lower portion of duodenum; but the others mixed with fruits would be well - and do not let the fruits include too much apple.
23. Evenings - meat juices would be well, but not the meat itself; green and cooked vegetables, that there may be both weight and the stimulating to the activities of the intestinal tract.
24. After the full treatments have been followed, those given internally and the diet, then we would begin AGAIN with the same properties.
25. After the second round of these, we would then begin to apply the Castor Oil packs to the area over the liver itself, especially over the gall duct area and lacteal ducts. At the same time (not at the same moment, of course, but the same days) apply the packs of saturated solution of Epsom Salts over the caecum area and over the small of the back, or the kidney area. This will tend to make (and they should be hot!) for an activity of the kidneys, but we MUST rid the system of these toxic forces.
379-1 Page 5
26. Then we will find, when these have been used for two to three days once each day, the system will begin to clear itself.
27. Keep the activities not too much on the feet, but activities that make for the full use of the muscular forces in arms and limbs and torso.
28. Ready for questions.
29. When these have been followed in the manner as has been outlined, we would find that after there has been the full course of these taken (and all may be applied by self), there will be no more return of these conditions; unless there is some indiscretion on the part of the body as to the diet or it activities externally.
30. (Q) What is the cause of odorous breath, and please give remedy. (A) This has just been given, as to how there is the attempt of the system to eliminate through the respiratory system and there are the poisons that come from the regurgitations to stomach from a catarrhal condition existent there - see? When we have cleansed the system we will set up proper conditions. See, we have acted upon these - Let's consider the conditions and how these are to act: First we have to cleanse the alimentary canal, with special reference to the duodenum and jejunum; and relieve the pressure on the lower portion of the colon with the enema, using the antiseptics in the colon itself to absorb and reduce the toxic forces and the pressures there. Then we stimulate the liver secretions so that the eliminations are through the alimentary canal. We stimulate by the activity of the Epsom Salts packs, and relieve pressures from those stimulations by the activities upon the kidneys, which will relieve those regurgitations and prevent the return of those forces that make for these pressures to the lungs. The taking of the Glyco-Thymoline internally (in the doses given) purifies and cleanses the whole system. Do that.
31. (Q) Are the eyes affected? (A) As given, reflexly.
32. (Q) Should the body wear glasses permanently? (A) Let's get the corrections in the system and then we may judge as to whether this should be. As we find, these would be rather that there may be the proper adjustment of glasses that should be permanently worn, but do not make such adjustments for them until the system is in better condition; for you would have to change them again!
