Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: We have the body here, [379]; this we have had before.
2. As we find, conditions are somewhat improved. There are still those disturbances, however, that unless care and precaution are taken may prove to be serious with the general physical reaction.
3. There should be those precautions, as have been indicated, regarding the diet. No real solid food should be taken until the poisons are removed, or until the inflammation that arises through the liver and the gall duct area and through the caecum is entirely gone. Then we may begin with the light diet that has been indicated. In the present we would rather use small quantities of the beef juice for the strength, the vegetable soups, the fruit juices, and these taken often rather than in large quantities would be much preferable. Eggs may be used if cooked by spirits frumenti from which most of the alcohol has been burned. Not raw milk but the malted milks may be taken.
4. We would, again, apply the Oil Packs over the liver and gall duct area, extending to the caecum and across the whole length of the colon. Use these for two to three hours; that is, as they cool then apply again.
5. Then after these have been applied a few hours, take half- quarter to a half-teacupful of the Olive Oil.
6. If there are then still the tendencies for the nausea, have manipulations gently given.
7. Also have enemas to remove the forces that are as accumulations through the alimentary canal.
8. Then, if there is no temperature, begin on the morrow with small doses of Milk of Bismuth with Elixir of Lactated Pepsin; a full teaspoonful of the Milk of Bismuth with nine to ten drops or minims of the Elixir of Lactated Pepsin stirred in a glass of water. This would be taken twice

during one day. Then it may be repeated again after two or three days.
9. This will be an absorbent, and will require that there be no solid foods taken during these activities.
10. So, it may be necessary to again use the Oil Packs; also the enemas.
11. The frequency of taking the enemas depends upon how the eliminations are carried on. There should be eliminations through the alimentary canal each day. If it is necessary for the enemas to have the eliminations, use same each day; body temperature, not colder, not hotter.
12. Do these as we find for the present.
13. Ready for questions.
14. (Q) Is the gall duct clearing? (A) The gall duct itself is clearing, but the areas about same still show inflammation.
15. (Q) What is the cause and effects of the sweats and nightmare that I had on Sunday night, May 16th? (A) Poor circulation, disturbance between the purely mental-physical forces and the imaginative or spiritual forces, with the general debilitations - see? The attempting, as it were, of coordination.
16. (Q) Should I leave off or take the Eno Salt? (A) Leave this off in the present. Later these properties may be helpful in assisting, rather than too much of the Olive Oil; for they are well to be taken in small doses. Small doses of the Olive Oil may be taken in periods, but the large dose is to cleanse the system, you see.
17. (Q) Is the Doctor's treatment aiding me? (A) This is not hindering, but is not aiding much.
18. (Q) Should I take the Olive Oil and Bile Salts as he prescribed? (A) Take the Olive Oil. The Bile Salts is too severe.
19. (Q) Are the tablets the Doctor gave to reduce my fever good for my body? (A) These are not overly harmful but leave a good deal of sediment in the system. They may be taken, but do not give or do those things that will PRODUCE the temperature - over-eating of solid foods!
20. (Q) Is an operation necessary yet? (A) Not until, as indicated, there is an excess of temperature for a period that causes the necessity of operative forces.
21. (Q) Would this operation mean a draining of the duct or a removal of same? (A) It would depend upon how much of the involvement has begun, you see. As we find, if it becomes necessary it will be rather a serious operation, and would require removal of

a portion of the gall duct as well as the appendix AND a straightening in the intestinal tract.
