Time of Reading 3:20 to 3:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [379]; this we have had before.
2. As we find, while conditions are very much improved, there are still those weaknesses of the physical body and those inclinations towards the formation of gas when even semi-solid foods are taken.
3. While there is a great deal of anxiety in some, we find that the precautions as to the diet are necessary.
4. The beef juices, the vegetable soups, are strengthening if taken properly, and are much better than the more heavy foods or those that would add weight or bulk to the intestinal system - until this soreness has gone.
5. After the meals, or those periods when there are the heavier foods - or those that make for weight or for filling in the system, we would take a very small quantity of Milk of Bismuth and the Elixir of Lactated Pepsin - about a quarter teaspoonful of the Bismuth and six to nine to ten drops of the Pepsin, in water - stirred in water. And this may necessitate the use of the Oil Enemas occasionally, for these properties will tend to make for better conditions - and are absorbent (the Bismuth and Pepsin).
6. Ready for questions.
7. (Q) Did the food I ate last night cause the condition? (A) This caused some irritation.
8. (Q) Has the inflammation cleared up? (A) If it had it wouldn't arise again by the eating! The inclinations and the weaknesses are there. Hence precautions should be taken. But so far as strength and even weight are concerned, the foods that have been indicated if taken properly will supply same - until there can gradually be added other foods; and then those foods that have been indicated are well, but must be well cooked and well masticated.

9. (Q) Is it advisable to continue the treatments, medicines, Packs, etc? (A) Only when necessary.
10. (Q) Should I continue taking Olive Oil, and in what dosage? (A) This is very good so long as it does not produce belching. Very small quantities and often are better than much taken at once.
11. (Q) Should it be increased or discontinued as I improve? (A) If it had been best to discontinue or increase, we would have given it! Take it in small doses!
12. (Q) Should the enemas be continued? (A) When necessary, as has just been given.
13. (Q) Would the wearing of an abdominal support help the intestinal tract? If so, what kind? (A) Not necessarily. Just a bandage would be really better.
14. (Q) Desiring to avoid future experience, please advise how I may prevent same. (A) Then the causes of the condition MUST be eliminated! Hence the precautions as given!
15. (Q) Would it be best for me to abstain from coffee and tea? (A) These are foods if taken properly. Excess of these is harmful. Not necessary to abstain.
16. (Q) What causes the uneasy or drawing effect in right side of abdomen, extending up higher sometimes? (A) As indicated, this is from those effects upon the organs themselves, in their attempt to function.
17. (Q) Are tomatos harmful? (A) Tomatoes that are pulled green and ripened off of the vine are harmful. Ripened on the vine, no.
18. (Q) Are there any special foods with which tomatos should not be eaten? (A) These should not be eaten with meats, sugars or vinegars.
19. (Q) How will I know when to begin the diet of May 10th? [379-8] (A) May 10th is passed! It's this time that must be taken care of now, as the variations begin. This may be begun just a little bit at a time as conditions clear.
20. (Q) Are the cooking utensils called Silver Seal, manufactured by Century Metal Craft Corp. of Chicago, desirable and safe for health for cooking food? (A) These are very good - in most cases.
21. (Q) Is Stainless Steel harmless? (A) This is the best, except enamel.
22. (Q) When beginning to eat solid foods, how much should I eat the first day? (A) Don't overgorge self, just use discretion.
