Time of Reading 5:50 to 6:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [383].

2. Now, as we find, there are abnormal conditions. These, as we find, have to do with the circulation and the effect a disturbed circulation has upon the organs and the nerve forces of the body.

3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [383], we are speaking of. First:

4. In the BLOOD SUPPLY there are disturbances in the metabolism, in such a manner that a pressure is produced; by a condition in the system of an aneurysm nature, yet not an aneurysm.

5. The pressure is in the cerebrospinal system, as related to the distribution of nerve energy as related to the adrenal gland and the assimilating forces of the body.

6. Hence the mental aberrations that occur are of a spasmodic or melancholia nature, and come and go as the reaction of cycles of activity in digestive and assimilative forces as related to the portions of the system.

7. In the NERVE SYSTEM, this we find an effect and a cause, as is indicated, and produces such a nature as to be at times neurotic in its nature; so that any activity that is viewed by the body that is of a nature as to affect the body becomes hypochondriacal in its reaction to the system.

8. Hence the body takes on those conditions about self, yet is different in that the system ITSELF is affected.

9. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves:

10. Brain forces, nominally, are very good.

11. The reactions to the sensory system, as indicated from - conditions that arise from time to time, are affected by reactions in the body:

12. The throat becomes full. The eyes show an effect of irritation in the lids.

13. The activity to the bronchi and lungs, especially so if

383-1 Page 2

the body is in company with, hears of or sees one affected in these directions.

14. As indicated, the heart's action shows the effect that is produced in the metabolism of the system, and the adrenal or glands of distribution in eliminating system being involved, the katabolism is also disturbed.

15. In the digestive system, this is rather a reaction of a nature that is of a nervous reaction.

16. Hence produces those variations in how reactions to the food values take place in the system.

17. In the effect produced by the pressure on the plethora condition in the lumbar and dorsal area, the locomotory forces of the system become affected - and the activities of the kidneys involved.

18. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions, as we find, little or no medical activity would be effective as to bringing recuperative forces. These may be palliative or alleviative under certain stresses, but unless an absorption can take place in the general activity of the digestive and assimilative and eliminative forces of the system there can be little of a permanent good for the body.

19. Hence we would, through such an one as Daley [Daly?] in Brooklyn, begin with manipulations osteopathically given throughout the system, giving these treatments in the beginning every other day to wholly relax the body.

20. Then we would begin with the light treatments WITH the animated or carbon ash, that will release sufficient oxygen in the system that absorption - through the tissue and the membranes of the tissue in digestive and eliminative system - will be in such a reaction, in the vibrations that will be changed by same, as to bring - in ten to fourteen weeks - a much nearer normal condition for the body.

21. The dose of the ash would be one-eighth grain taken thirty minutes before the ultra-violet lights are given. These would be about twice each week. The ultra-violet would be applied to the area of the cerebrospinal system from the sacral to the 7th and 8th dorsal, and should be not longer than three minutes - and, in the beginning, at least forty inches from the body - if the quartz light is used. If the smaller light is used, it may be somewhat nearer the body.

22. Ready for questions.

23. (Q) How should mental be approached to gain confidence in the Work, to cause him to follow all suggestions faithfully? (A) That there will be the following of an outline of Daley. [Daly?] And Daley, then, approached to carry OUT the suggestions given. THEN approach the activities of the Work

itself.

24. (Q) What occupation best for body's health? (A) In the present only that to which the body applies self in the activities of sufficient action for the daily relaxation for the body. When improved, it should be rather in those lines of the selling or contracting end of activities.

25. (Q) What diet best for body? (A) As indicated, there is little or no activity that does not in diet show at times a resentful thought in the body. Hence, that easily assimilated - and that is nerve and blood building - is better; yet it will be found necessary to change often as the applications are given for improvement.

26. (Q) Is there any specific name for his condition? (A) It has been called by several different names, but it is rather that of a metabolism that is unbalanced by an enlarging of an organ's tendons in the area of the adrenal glands.

27. (Q) What exercise for the body? (A) As indicated, with the exercising through the treatments given, only sufficient that makes for the general relaxations for the body. Follow these, as we have given, and we will find that there will be a much nearer normal condition for this body.
