Time of Reading 3:30 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.C. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [389].

2. Now, as we find, there are conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of the body.

3. While these conditions in the present have not assumed such proportions as to other than occasionally give distress and uneasiness, unless there are measures taken to reduce the conditions there may be expected a stroke to ensue.

4. The conditions, then, are of a specific nature, and they have thinned the walls of the blood circulation through those portions of the system where the plethora in the colon is indicated, and where the pressure in same makes for the dizzy feelings that come over the body. And the poisons from same at times produce an extreme high blood pressure. It is at present 168, and should not be more than 148.

5. As to distresses, then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [389] we are speaking of:

6. The BLOOD SUPPLY indicates the character of the toxic forces that disturb the body, for the pressures existent in the transverse and the head of the descending colon cause a character of indigestion. They keep a tendency of a deep internal circulation with little superficial or capillary circulation, except when there is the attempt of the body to adjust itself; when the walls of the circulation in the arteries that supply the digestive area - as through the colon area - are overflooded. Then we have the tendency for a clamminess in hands and in extremities, followed or preceded (dependent upon the cycle of circulation) by cold sensations in the extremities.

7. The manner of repression through the pressures here produces in the circulation the low pulsation and high blood pressure, for the pulsation to the extremities becomes slow; the body feels sluggish at times, not resting as well as it should - feeling as tired of mornings as, or more so than, when retiring in the evenings.

8. In the NERVE FORCES of the body, the pressures as indicated in the left area of the body (transverse and head of descending colon) make a pressure on the left side at the 8th and 9th dorsal center. Hence the disturbances in the circulation, as to the reaction in the right side of the body; for these (as seen and understood) CROSS the cerebrospinal plexuses in the various centers along the cerebrospinal system. Hence the right side of the body is the greater disturbance in locomotion (from the left portion of the body), or right leg, in the arm, in the face even at times - as of drawing, by the pressure that is made there.

9. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves:

10. Brain forces are good.

11. The activities of the body, when not under this stress, are good.

12. Organs of the sensory system, in their functioning, show the excess of nerve energy. Hence at times there are periods when there is a blurring of the vision, an impediment in the speech, a reaction to the auditory forces - so that the left ear gives disturbance of not hearing so well; at others all of these reactions are super-sensitive, and the vision - while far-sighted - is GOOD; at others shows the diffusions, by the pressure in the nerve system.

13. Lungs, bronchi - good in their functioning.

14. Heart's action, as indicated from a deep circulation and a high blood pressure, tends towards too large an organ. Not that it is excessive, as yet; but, unless there is an equalizing of the circulation, it must eventually ensue from conditions that exist in the present.

15. The digestive system, as indicated, is rather spasmodic in its reactions; that is, there are periods when the body can digest most anything; others when most everything disagrees with the body.

16. The eliminations and activity of the intestinal tract, and the assimilations in the body:

17. Assimilations work with the digestive forces, in that at times these are very good.

18. The eliminations, through the drosses - or alimentary canal, have long disturbed the body. While there has been given an activity that has, in a manner, kept the body going, the gradual dilation of the colon - and the clogging of the system, with the poisons from fecal forces not eliminated, has produced, does produce, the distresses with heart's action, the circulation, and the excess poisons in the body.

19. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions, as we find, the greater portion of that which may relieve the body

389-1 Page 3

entirely may be done by self - or at home.

20. First, we would obtain an elevator syringe, [Tyrrell's?] and - for the first three or four days we would, each evening - evacuate the colon; GRADUALLY. Do not attempt to relieve ALL the pressures at once, but by taking the high enemas we will reduce the pressure to almost normal - and relieve these conditions.

21. When the gallon and a half of water is put in the syringe, let it be tepid - not cold, not hot. First we would take pure castile soap and make the water not too soapy, but just so it shows in the water - see? We would also put with this two tablespoonsful (in the gallon and a half of water) of Glyco-Thymoline, as an intestinal antiseptic.

22. After the four days, then take the enema every other day for about two weeks.

23. After the two weeks, take it about once or twice a week.

24. By this time we will have evacuated the fecal forces from the alimentary canal.

25. We would also, to aid in this, about once each week use the castor oil packs across the liver - and let them extend across the abdomen, or just below the stomach, see? so they cover the area of the upper portion of descending colon. The packs would be made by using heavy flannel dipped in WARM - not too hot - castor oil; wrung out, but placed directly on the body, and let them remain over the whole part for at least an hour and a half to two hours once or twice a week, see, as indicated.

26. Also we will find that it would be well to use these as eliminants (while all these others are being taken, see?):

27. One evening take a tablespoonful of Milk of Magnesia.

28. The next evening take a tablespoonful of Milk of Bismuth.

29. The next evening take an Alophen pellet.

30. Then rest three days. Then begin over again.

31. We would also have an electrically driven vibrator to, at least once each day, (and this preferably of a morning) give a vibration along the whole of the cerebrospinal system. It should necessarily be given gently; yet stimulate these centers until the soreness leaves the body - in the 8th and 9th dorsal area, in the 3rd and 4th cervical area, and ESPECIALLY in the 1st and 2nd dorsal and the 4th lumbar area.

32. In the diet, be mindful that not too great quantities of meat are taken - and NO hog meat of ANY kind. A little crisp bacon may be taken of MORNINGS, but not too much of this.

389-1 Page 4

33. This would be rather as an outline for the diet, though this - to be sure - may be altered at times to suit the tastes of the body:

34. Mornings - citrus fruit or cereal, but do not use cereals and citrus fruit at the same meal! Stewed fruits or fresh fruits, with a coddled egg - with butter and bread; preferably whole wheat bread. A little coffee may be taken.

35. Noons - preferably vegetable or meat broths; not necessarily strained, but none of the meat itself - though vegetables may be included; and a quantity - or a good meal at this period of GREEN vegetables.

36. Evenings - cooked vegetables, with the tendency towards those that are alkalin in their reactions; that is, two vegetables ABOVE the ground to one below the ground. When meats are taken in the evening these would be of fowl or liver, but do NOT eat ANY meats with quantities of grease or that are fried!

37. Follow these conditions, or these instructions, and we will find that in six to eight weeks the body will be near normal in its reaction physically. Leave these off and it'll be rather bad for the body.

38. Ready for questions.

39. (Q) What causes the trouble in the side - right side? (A) This is from those dilations in the colon, and is SYMPATHETIC - in the caecum area. Hence, as given, in removing these pressures and washing out the colon, do not do too much of it at first - see? but gradually eliminate, and we will find all this will disappear. Follow these as we have outlined, and these may be done by self - or at home, see. But be consistent, and persistent.

40. (Q) How long at a time should be vibrator be used? (A) Fifteen to twenty minutes.

41. (Q) How soon should this treatment be started? (A) Of course, the sooner the better. In the next day or two, but do not delay; for, remember, these pressures and the activities are a strain on the body - and a stroke AVERTED is certainly many years added to the life of the body-physical!
