Time of Reading 3:10 to 3:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. (Body and enquiring mind, who seeks information, counsel and guidance as to his material, mental and spiritual development. You will give that which will be most helpful to him at this time, and answer the questions he will submit.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [391]; this we have had before.

2. In giving that which would be the most helpful in the present experience, much of that which has been given would be reiterated; especially as regarding the spiritual welfare, the mental attitude - and then there may be expected that which will bring into the experience that which is the most helpful in the material welfare. It is well to gain that full concept that all there is in materiality is of the spirit; is of the spirit of truth, if it is constructive. They that live by the spirit, through the mental attributes of same, shall prosper in the Lord. They that live by might or main, though their days may be glamorous, find that contentment shall flee away; and those things that make for disorder, disturbance, distrust, must arise in the experience, for these are not the fruits of the spirit. For these are they: Just being kind, just being in that manner in which the fellow man is served day by day; and that the outcome of same is fellowship, patience, kindness, gentleness, brotherly love - these manifested in the experience; not by jerks and spurts but as a living example day by day, not to be seen of men alone but rather that which is done in secret shall be proclaimed from the housetops. THESE should be, as has been indicated, the mental attitudes of the body, if there is to be had that which brings harmony, peace, understanding and those things that make not afraid.

3. Ready for questions.

4. (Q) Would a series of tennis courts and handball courts more than pay for themselves at Va. Beach this summer?

391-8 Page 2

(A) These might, if handled properly, pay for themselves. It would require a great deal of exertion and expenditures to make such in a way and manner as to be the way to make material gains for same.

5. (Q) Which of the two locations would be best for such; on Atlantic Ave. across from the pavilion at the Old Casino or the lot on 23rd & Arctic Ave.? and how much should I pay for the lease on each? (A) On Atlantic Avenue, provided this was made with such an enclosure that those entering as spectators would contribute to the upkeep, and those playing could be assured of not being disturbed while playing by others passing across or close to the grounds. As to how much, this should not be a great amount - especially in the first season; almost equal to that which would be necessary for the preparing of same for the use - this should be ALMOST the pay in the first year. Not over fifty or a hundred dollars.

6. (Q) Would it be advisable to lease both of the stands we had last year or take one and try to improve it? Which one? (A) The one. The one near the 26th Street would be the better.

7. (Q) What can I do to improve business in our stand this year? (A) Just that same attitude of courteous treatment, being on the job, of meeting the people in the way of friendly manner. As ye would have them be to you, be to them.

8. (Q) Do you see that I am fitted for the job with H. J. Reilly [Harold J. Reilly, Ph.T.] as manager of his Sun Air Park at Oak Ridge, N.J.? If so, whom should I have with me to help me in this work, and when should I try to get into that work? (A) This depends upon a great many different conditions. So far as the body being FITTED, it would be of necessity have to FIT self for such; and as to the abilities and capabilities, these are sufficient for the handling of same. As to who would be associated, this - too - would depend upon circumstances and that as would be necessary, or that as would be required, the wife would be sufficient, if there are those opportunities for services in these directions; for this would not only mean the maintaining of the conditions but be for the general growth of the whole condition or surrounding. As to when, not until there is a change in the present management.

9. (Q) Is there any other work with H. J. Reilly or The Reilly Service for which I am fitted and in which I might receive advancement?

391-8 Page 3

(A) Any of that which has to do with the trainings of those in their exercise, as in the hand ball courts, as in the gym, as in the regular work that goes with same; for the body is VERY well fitted for such.

10. (Q) What line of work or business should I follow next fall? and where? (A) This depends a great deal upon the circumstances that may arise. As has been indicated, anything that has to do with the bodily exercise or the associations of self with that which is for health of body-building as related to others, is the character of work. As to how that these may be developed, this may depend a great deal upon circumstance and upon the application of self as in the directions as indicated. For these followed as has been indicated, from the SPIRITUAL angle, they will open - the opportunities will open, as it were, of themselves.

11. (Q) What can I do to improve my health and all around physical condition? (A) Take care of it! In the general activities of those things that have been indicated for the body, keep in attune with that which makes for well-assimilations, sufficient activities for the keeping up of the vitality; keeping in the open sufficient for plenty of the natural elements that go to make for the better body-building. Do not poison the system with ANY of those things that MAKE for disorders in any of the vital organs that are of the nature of those that make stress upon the liver or the kidneys.

12. (Q) Regarding my wife [934] and I, what should we do about our marriage? Should we try to get together again - (A) (Interrupting) To be sure; for these should be the greater activities in the experience. For they each have their obligations, their duties to perform as one for another. Each should be a complement one TO the other. And this CAN be made true, if it will be worked together. It cannot be made true separated or apart! And this would make for a difference in not only the attitudes of others but of the CONSISTENCY in self.
