Time of Reading 3:25 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Body and enquiring mind, who seeks information, advice and guidance as to how he may proceed to make a livelihood for himself and family and pay his debts. Questions.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [391]; this we have had before.
2. In the physical forces of the body, be precautious as to getting wet - especially in the next few weeks. For the general resistances in the system are low, and cold or congestion would be rather severe with the present physical conditions at such an ebb.
3. In making for those moments or activities in which the body should or would engage for the meeting of material emergencies:
4. Take much of that which has been given into consideration, that there must be choices, there must be determinations on the part of self if such accomplishments would become manifested experiences in the activities.
5. In respect to some of those activities as the body has been engaged in, it might be WELL said "I told you so." In not adhering to the activities in the last experience and in those previous experiences where, NOW, there are the differences arising between the associations that are causing anxieties on the part of each.
6. However, in THESE considerations, remember there has been and is a friendship that has been builded not only upon associations and in the experiences in the earth but in the present activities. And no individual is capable to disregard such friendships.
7. And, as we find, these associations in the activities about those operative forces or measures that may come about, if there are the proper considerations given to each factor that has arisen as s difference, may be cleared; and that friendship which has been of a HELPFUL nature renewed in a satisfactory way and manner. [Friendship between [391] and Sol Tepper]

8. As to the marital relations, do not disregard those warnings that have been given - as to the obligations, as to the duty that faces each in those emergencies and those conditions that are arising in the experience of each; ESPECIALLY as to the attitude one to another. Know that you each have been the means, the channel, the cause for an expression of a soul in the earth [Baby son, [1208], born 6/21/36]. And so live, so act one toward another that there may be no regrets of any nature that the soul seeking expression may be as a joy - ever - in the experience of each.
9. For His ways are not past finding out to those that would DO RIGHT and justice to their fellow man! Know that the earth IS the Lord's and the fullness thereof, and His promises have been that there is abundance for all that keep and know His ways to dwell therein - and that the seed of such shall NOT beg bread.
10. Then in the manner and the means and the ways, there is set before thee in thy activities a way open. Keep this as thy rule in thy dealing with thy fellow man: "As ye would that they (thy fellow man) would do to YOU, do ye even so to them."
11. And in doing so ye fulfill the whole law and come under the promise. Make thyself in purpose, in spirit, as one with Him; that thy mind in its building in thy experience may bring not only to self but to others hope, joy, and an understanding!
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) What should be done about the partnership between Sol Tepper and myself? (A) As indicated. When the time arrives, make that a continued thing for those periods at least as has been indicated. In the fall of the coming year - that is, coming season - or this year, there would be those experiences that would separate same. But during the present season join in those activities, that there may be the means, the channels for the expressions, for the completing of those experiences necessary for an understanding of each.
14. (Q) Will the Dog Track operate at Va. Beach this summer? (A) For only a short period.
15. (Q) Would it be advisable and profitable to consider an investment in a concession at the Dog Track? (A) Not if it requires the outlay of more than a hundred dollars.
16. (Q) What location on the Boardwalk would be most profitable for my Bicycle Concession? (A) As near 24th Street as may be practical.

17. (Q) Are there any locations available that can be used for a playground, such as tennis courts, handball courts, ping pong tables, archery, etc., that can be made to pay dividends? (A) Not as we find, unless those joining nigh to the STAND - or the pace of business that is considered, or under consideration; at the back portion of same these locations may be made to be helpful.
18. (Q) Should I consider including a partner in any of these enterprises? (A) You have a partner; carry it all the way through - if these are to be considered!
19. (Q) Would a Sandwich Stand on the corner of 14th St. & Atlantic Ave. be available and profitable for me this summer? (A) Rather at the corner of 15TH and Atlantic, rather than 14th - not a very desirable place there. [See 391-16, Par. R4.] That would have to be, of course, rather as an association WITH the camping ground and the preparation of such a place might be had with Whitehead [C. T. Whitehead & Son] - for the MAKING of the whole place.
20. (Q) Would it be advisable for me to try and keep the car I have, or dispose of it? (A) Keep the car, for it may be needed in thy activities - if these are carried to fruition.
21. (Q) How can I meet the payments that are due? (A) Have them, by the Finance Corporation, spread out sufficiently to meet these. Then get out and work!
22. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file " " Brother [641]
