Time of Reading 11:30 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ala. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [394]; this we have had before.

2. In the main, as we find, conditions-physical have continued to improve in the physical forces of this body.

3. While there are some disturbing conditions, we find that with a little change in the applications of the massage (or neuropathic adjustments) we would not only benefit in the main but there would be care taken for specific conditions that arise from disturbances in the iliac or the ileum and especially in the sacral plexus.

4. Their reflex, then, is that incoordination in the upper dorsals and cervicals - governing the vagus center or the vagus nerves and blood supply to portions of the head, the trachea and the nasal passages, in the flow.

5. Such neuropathic adjustments or massage would overcome these tendencies that have been as a portion of the expressions from mendicants that have been to ease the pressure through the heart, and have made for an expansion in those areas so as to allow in the present the lymph flow to too great an extent.

6. And unless those changes would be made as we have indicated, there would be formed a tendency for an asthmatic or a phlegmatic condition in the mucous membrane for the trachea, the nasal passages and the throat; thus producing an overflow of lymph in the area.

7. Then, in making the applications in the present, as we find:

8. The neuropathic treatments we would have every day for periods, and then a rest period; rather than a continuous thing. Have periods when the body is allowed, as it were, to adjust itself to changes wrought. That is, we would have a three-week period of treatments, then a week rest period, then a treatment period again, see?

9. But we would apply WET HEAT over the sacral area, you see, from the 4th lumbar to the end of the spine; just as

hot as the body can stand, for fifteen minutes or more - before the treatment neuropathically is given. This would be of hot water and packs of heavy toweling over the area. Then RELAX this portion by the gentle manipulation, you see.

10. Also the heat would be applied in the area from the 2nd and 3rd dorsal to the 3rd cervical, but then the adjustments and manipulations would be made also in the area of the vagus center's association or connection from the cerebrospinal nerve impulse to those areas just below the throat - or at the end of the collarbone, or those on the left side especially.

11. These would then tend to make for drainages through their PROPER channels, and relieve these pressures that cause this disturbance to the lymph flow to head; thus alleviating those activities for the trachea or bronchi and upper portions of the lung that become involved in the same condition.

12. The occasional use of one-grain tablets of the iodine and calcium, in that called Calcidin, would be found to be beneficial. These would be taken when the body lies down to rest, preferably.

13. Do these, and keep away from too great a quantity of sweets.

14. But keep a general activity so that the manipulations are carried to the extremities; that is, to the feet. Massage especially, in the manipulations and in the neuropathic adjustments, the bursae in the feet - and it will take a great deal of the stress and strain off of the upper portion of the body.

15. Ready for questions.

16. (Q) Any change in diet? (A) Only beware of too great a quantity of sweets, as indicated.

17. (Q) Should all other treatments be continued now? (A) Those that conform with these suggestions as additional.
