Time of Reading 11:40 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [399]. Quite a difference in the general physical conditions in the present from that when we last had the body here.
2. Now, as we find in the present, the obstructions that caused the continual irritation to the functioning of the organs in digestive forces and the accumulations of poisons that made for pressures on organs and on various portions of the system - have been in a great part eliminated by the operative measures. BUT, we have removed the EFFECTS and NOT the cause in the first place!
3. There exists in the 6th and 7th dorsal center a lesion of the nature, circular in form, that has made for a pressure that has affected the ducts and glands in the activity of the liver and pancreas, in its activity in the system, as well as reflexly to the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus from the 3rd and 4th cervical centers - which has, with the manner in which the diet has been kept for the body, tended to make more of an acidity to produce the accumulation and the hardening of the secretions. And the removal now, with the affecting of the conditions, does not altogether insure that the condition will not recur; unless there are precautions taken and corrections made so that some other portion of the system is not to be affected by the impingements or subluxations, and the activities to the nerve impulses and blood supply that follow.
4. Hence we would have adjustments made, OSTEOPATHICALLY, in these areas given; for, with the adjustments there should be the muscular manipulation and the activities such as to bring into play all organs in the body and the releasing into the blood the activities of the excretory functionings of the system, as to bring better conditions.

5. Make, then, specific adjustments in the 3rd and 4th cervical, in the 6th and 7th dorsal, ALIGNMENTS in the lower LUMBAR area; and at least one of the treatments - out of the three that should be taken each week - should be a general massage.
6. We would also follow the more alkalin diet, or THIS would be an outline - though it may be altered:
7. Mornings - citrus fruit juices, or stewed or raw fruits. Do not take cereals (whether cooked or dry) WITH stewed fruits or citrus fruit juices, though they may be altered at times; for such combinations, with the casein activity in the gastric forces of the system, become harmful to the activity in the bile secretions that are created for digestive forces in the body.
8. But coddled egg, whole wheat toast and a cereal drink may be taken.
9. Noons - preferably a meal of all green vegetables. These may include all that may be obtained; such as lettuce, celery, carrots, tomatos, and all such. Mayonnaise or the oil may be used. At this meal there may also be taken the Bulgarian or the dry milk, or milk that is prepared in the manner for the assimilation.
10. Evenings - never any of the fried foods, or those that carry too great a quantity of starch or proteins that are not well balanced with the vegetables; that is, at each meal have two vegetables that grow above the ground to one that grows below the ground.
11. Of all forms of bread, preferably use the whole wheat or the rye or the mixed.
12. These will bring about for this body a normal balance, mentally, physically. But MAKE the corrections osteopathically!
13. Ready for questions.
14. (Q) Will the treatments suggested relieve the frequent attacks of nausea? (A) What were we giving in regard to the hypogastric and pneumogastric? That's what we've been talking about!
15. (Q) Does cigarette smoking hurt me? (A) In excess it hurts anyone. In moderation it may be made helpful.
16. (Q) Is my mental state caused by my physical condition? (A) The physical condition is sufficient to do so, and does affect the mental state.
17. (Q) Is the pain in the lower right side caused from the condition outlined? (A) Caused by the condition, or the reflex actions from fear and the activities as indicated. Follow the outline as

we have given, and in six to eight weeks we will bring a NORMAL body to [399]!
