1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [400].

2. Now, as we find, the body is very good in many respects.

3. There ARE conditions of which the body should take warning, that these in the beginning may be removed the more easily; though, with the general conditions that ensue from the impediments that are disturbing certain portions of the system, if these were removed in the present there would be prevented a great deal of distress or disorder later on.

4. These have to do with disturbances in some of the organs that have to do with eliminations in the system, and the functioning of same as in reference to other portions of the body; as will be seen.

5. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [400] we are speaking of, present in this room:

6. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find very good save in those tendencies for an unbalancing of the leucocytes in the system, produced - as we shall see - from disturbances in the lumbar area that affect the circulation through the kidneys and hepatic circulation. These are, then, as we find, the pressure; and the numbers in the circulation.

7. The pressure in the blood supply is normal. The numbers in the red blood cells are somewhat below normal. The metabolism of the system is near balanced at most times. With any indulgences that tend to make for any activity in the kidneys and the eliminating system in this direction, there is created an unbalance. Hence this should be one of those conditions that should be maintained in the system to keep a near normal balance in the body, in this direction.

8. As to the NERVOUS SYSTEM of the body, these - as we find - are very good. The coordination of the judgements and the activities of the nerve forces are very good.

9. There are periods when certain positions or activities of the body tend to make for heaviness in the lower limbs,

400-1 Page 2

especially in the left leg. This at the present time gives very little distress, save at certain periods when the activities or positions of the body create a greater strain in this particular area or direction.

10. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves:

11. The brain forces in their activity are well balanced.

12. The activities in the sensory organisms, as related to the functioning of the body, are near normal. There are periods when there is some irritation to the visionary actions in the body. These are of a reflex nature and do not disturb in the present.

13. There are some conditions with the teeth, the mouth, that should have some local attention. These are merely LOCAL conditions.

14. The throat, bronchi and larynx are very good.

15. The lungs' activity throughout the respiratory system show the distresses at times in the system, through the eliminations being disturbed in portions of the body that have their effect upon the respiratory activity - from the amount of poisons not eliminated through their regular channels; and these cause the distress of a minor nature in the present, through this portion of the body.

16. Heart's action is near normal. Pulsation is near normal.

17. The digestive system: The body is a very a good dietician as to the dietetic activities of the system; yet there are those tendencies for the conditions that disturb through the hepatic circulation to at times show the nervous reaction in the digestive system. This is more reflex than from activities of the organs themselves showing distress, other than reflexly.

18. Liver with the hepatics and the pancrean activity shows the effect of the strains that have existed in the lumbar and upper sacral area, in the left portion of the body. The reflexes from these at times give distress across the lower portion of the abdomen, creating - then - a heaviness in the caecum area, that is more of a reflex nature in the present; but unless there are corrections, or the changing of the conditions, there may be - through the activities of the system - distresses brought in this position or portion of the body.

19. Hence the condition affects the digestive system and the eliminations, especially as related to the hepatic circulation.

20. In the 4th lumbar and the upper sacral portion of the body do we find the distressed areas, from some condition that came from outside; or from some activity of the body

400-1 Page 3

that tended to make a pressure in this area, which produces now that regarding which the body should be warned in its activities as related to the general system, and as to the functioning of the kidneys and the eliminations through the lower portion of hepatic circulation in particular.

21. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions of the body, as we find, there should be occasional relaxations through a specific activity in the character of baths that would be followed with rubdowns of specific elements that would effect a stimulus to the muscular and nerve forces, and the ganglia in this portion of the system, necessary for creating a balance in this particular portion of the system.

22. We would have, then, the needle baths; following which there would be a rubdown each time - massaging into the lumbar and sacral area, and particularly over those portions of the left hip - with a compound made in this manner: To 4 ounces of witchhazel, add: Russian White Oil..............2 ounces, Tincture of Myrrh..............1 ounce, Oil of Sassafras..............10 minims. After the needle spray and the thorough rubdown over all portions of the body, particularly in the lower portion of the cerebrospinal system, we would massage all that the body will absorb in this particular area as given.

23. Be mindful that the diets are such that eliminations are regular; and beware of any stimulus that would disturb the equilibrium of the hepatic circulation, or cause the activity of the pancreas and the ducts that make for the stimulating to the adrenal glands.

24. And we will keep a near normal balance to this body, [400].

25. Ready for questions.

26. (Q) How often would you advise that the baths be taken? (A) Once or twice a week in the beginning; afterwards once a week or twice a month for period of three to four months. And we will create quite a different condition in the whole of the body-activity in the disturbed area.

27. (Q) What caused the condition in the lower extremity originally? (A) A wrench, or an injury to the lower portion of the back or hip.

28. (Q) Is there any condition of the extreme lower extremity? If so, what? (A) The natural tendency is for the strain on the burses in

400-1 Page 4

the feet. With the correction from those portions of the system from which the disturbances arise, this will be alleviated to a great extent. With the general massage, the stimulating to the burses - especially in the heel and in the BALL of the foot - will aid, to be sure. Do these, as we have outlined; we will find a much better physical condition and a relief from this tiredness and heaviness that appears at times, a general tendency for better relaxation when the body is ready to relax, and save a lot of trouble later on.
