1. EC: Yes, we have the body, Mrs. [407], now, as we find, there are many disturbing factors in the better physical functioning of the body.
2. These, as we find, may be called a compilation of conditions that at times becomes such that the effects are apparently more severe than the basic causes of same.
3. The basic effects, we find, are improper functioning of glands in the system. Hence the effects of creating less amounts of elements necessary for the sustenance in proper form of the activity in portions of the system. At other times there is an excess of activity through the glands. That has brought, and does bring about, these conditions.
4. In the BLOOD SUPPLY there is a deficiency in certain characters of the hormones of the blood, and a condition in the metabolism which disturbs the organs that should control more the activity of the circulation.
5. In the NERVOUS SYSTEM this condition has at times produced an improper coordination between the impulses and the activities of the body, until improper balances of a normal reaction are often shown in this direction.
6. As to the functioning of ORGANS, it may be surmised - from the character of disorder - ALL the organs, whether of the reactions in the mental body or the circulation through the system (either of the normal blood system, as so called, or the lymph and emunctory activities), are at SOME time disturbed in their functioning; dependent upon the severity of the lack of proper hormones in the system to resuscitate or to maintain a balance in the disturbed portions of the body.
7. Hence many conditions, or a complication of conditions often arises or manifests itself.
8. In the application of those things or conditions that have been made for the body at times those in charge have

considered there was a perfect understanding of the conditions; at other times conditions have arisen, or do arise, that apparently are in excess, or produce an excess activity in some portion of the body - or a failure of response to those portions of the system that should respond to the applications made, makes for indecisions as to the outcome, or as to the disturbing factors in the condition.
9. With that being maintained as the influences in the disturbances in the physical functionings of the body, [407], if there would be added the animated or carbon ash, with the necessary influences from electrical or magnetic forces as to cause the better activity of this element in the system, we would find the responses would be more in accord with that which would bring about better conditions for the body. So, we would give:
10. Preferably as the body is prepared for the evening rest, take one-eighth grain of the carbon ash - emptied from the capsule onto the tongue tend swallowed down with water - each evening.
11. Thirty minutes after the ash has been taken, apply the violet ray over the area of the upper dorsal and lower cervical area, for fifteen to thirty minutes with the bulb applicator; from the 9th dorsal to the 3rd or 4th cervical area; this whole area being covered at each treatment each evening, see?
12. This would make for the adding or releasing for the system the absorbed effects of the ash (that is, the violet ray treatment), such as to carry to the system more of oxygen in such a manner as to stimulate the resuscitating influences of a better equalized circulation, through the administration; and bring about, in a period of sixteen to twenty-eight days, a reaction that we find would be much more satisfactory.
13. At the end of that time we would give further instructions. Do that at present, but not taking from those administrations in the present. Only add the carbon ash and the violet ray treatment, as given.
14. Ready for questions.
15. In the matter of the diet we would not alter or change. In the matter of the ministrations in other directions we would not change in the present. These only as suggested would be added. Then LATER there may be more specific changes, as to that which may aid this body - [407].
