Time of Reading 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., New York. (Body and enquiring mind - Physical, Mental and Spiritual reading, with questions)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, and those conditions physical, mental and spiritual, as surround this body, [412].

2. In the physical forces of the body we find there are definite conditions as are not so much the CAUSE, as the RESULT of conditions in the physical - but these produce a definite disturbance at times in the physical, and there be physical conditions that must be attuned to the proper conditions of the system, for the better physical, the better mental development of the body.

3. These, physical, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [412], we are speaking of, present in this room:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this very good in many respects. There is a lack of the proper amount of red blood supply; not so much, as YET, that there is an over abundance of the white as to indicate pus conditions in the system. The condition rather that of the strength or the vitality being used up by mental worry, by conditions as are as at variance to those that the body has held, does hold, as the criterion of endeavors. This makes for, in the nerve system - not one that becomes, as it were, cantankerous; yet not as PLEASANT, not as PLEASING; one DISSATISFIED, discontented - with not ONE thing; EVERYTHING in general. The physical reaction is as that, the differentiation between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system becomes such as to produce irritations, things that formerly were pleasant, were satisfying physically, are irritating, out of place - not commonplace, but just UNNECESSARY. In this reaction there must come, unless the corrections are made, those either of a nervous breakdown, or the FUNCTIONING system - taking on this same condition through the functioning organs - will BECOME disordered; the sympathetics, as related to the SENSORY system, either become deadened - and the eyes, the ears, the nose, the stomach, or the whole general system will become

412-1 Page 2

accentuated in such a way and manner as to bring a disturbance, or the heart's action - lacking in its proper amount of the necessary forces - become abnormal; either TOO high or too low in its pressure.

5. Then, as we see, DEFINITE conditions exist. As to their final RESULT, as to effects as will be brought about physical - these are INDETERMINATE, merely because the mental IS the builder, ever guided by either that of the spiritual forces from within, that makes for that understanding of the body's relationship to the whole, with the divine that may manifest through and with the activities of the individual - or they become accentuated to the purely carnal forces of the body, then setting up the combative forces, become DISORDERED, diseased, and naturally build - in their end - the seed of same being sown, the harvest MUST be disease - in SOME form, in the system.

6. In the corrective forces, then - much will depend upon the attitude of the mental body as related to itself, and related to things OUTSIDE itself. There may be APPLIED mechanical forces as will AID, yet the HEALING - the CORRECTION - the CHANGES wrought - MUST be within self and self's own mental forces, and self's own reaction TO the conditions; for, as in any healing, the INCENTIVE must be present. If this be lacking, then the end MUST be disorder, discouragement, distress, and dis-ease.

7. In the character of those appliances as may be added from the exterior, the character of the exercise, the character of the diet, and those changing forces in the VIBRATIONS of the system, as may be made to accord with the proper PHYSICAL development:

8. Let the diet, then, be that of not too RICH - not too highly seasoned; but of a good, well BALANCED blood and nerve building, enabling the system to keep the proper coordinations in the eliminations of the system. NOT just as to the alimentary canal, but be able to so exercise self as to get up a good perspiration; be able to so function that in the throwing off of refuses from the system, the respiratory system will act, and a breath may be taken - GOOD, FULL, DEEP - into the lungs, and the activity and buoyancy of life itself, as is gathered from all forces about it, must radiate through the system, [if] will the mental abilities, or mental forces of the body, [will] allow same to do so. This CAN be done.

9. We would also keep those forces in the vibrations of system as may be found in the plain Radio-Active Appliance, that - added TO the system - keeps for that EQUILIBRIUM in the system, so that the activities of the body become

412-1 Page 3

accordant one WITH another; so that self may be builded in its mental forces as to bring for the cooperation of self, self's abilities, to the ONENESS of the CREATIVE forces as manifest through the spiritual forces of the body.

10. In the mental, keep an attunement with the creative energies. Hold fast to that as has BEEN IN the self as the criterion for self and for others; not JUDGING as to whether this or that, or the other one has acted in a manner as is in keeping WITH that as is held, but rather - has SELF, does SELF act in a manner as would merit from the creative forces that as is applicable in the life, and in the lives of others; bringing for that faith, that hope, that confidence in self, and in the Giver of all good and perfect gifts; for this is the first law of preservation - that, making self - in mental, in in the activities of the physical - to be in accord with the creative force as is of the energies that make for the SATISFIED forces; for, to be SATISFIED is to stand still - but, in whatsoever condition one finds himself, make himself content, knowing that one is never tempted nor given the burden greater than he may bear, [if] will he [will] make his will one with the active forces as bring about the truth manifested in light, life, and in the forces as of man. The SPIRIT is willing, the FLESH is weak. Harken not to those calls of the carnal forces. Be ye not carnal minded, but rather of the spiritual forces that make for LIFE eternal. Keep the faith, knowing that in whom thou hast believed is able to keep that committed unto Him against WHATEVER may arise in the physical, the mental, or the general forces of life. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) Regarding the physical conditions: What can be done to relieve dandruff? (A) This is as much of a mental force as anything else! In the application of those that may be found in the use of that of oil in its original state, [crude oil?] clarified with that of water - twenty ounces, with ten drops of alcohol - this will prevent dandruff and increase GROWTH growth in hair. [See 412-4, Par. 13-A, 14-A clarification.]

12. (Q) What can be done to relieve headaches? (A) Keep the system clearer, in the eliminations through alimentary canal.

13. (Q) What causes pain on right side? (A) Tendency of the ascending colon to be choked; through WORRY, and disorders as related to the digestion - through that of NERVOUS INDIGESTION. The body wouldn't like to acknowledge that it was nervous, yet - INWARDLY - it's afraid!

14. (Q) What causes perspiration of feet? What would

412-1 Page 4

relieve same? (A) The exercises as may be taken, that the whole system will increase its normal capillary circulation; THIS is the effect of disturbed circulation! Bathing in salt water of evenings will prevent same, but this is only for a LOCAL condition. GENERAL conditions of the system will ELIMINATE same. The quantity would be - a handful to a gallon of water.

15. (Q) What is correct weight for this body? (A) One forty-six. Far from it at present, but may be made to make same.

16. (Q) Can anything be done to improve eyes? (A) THINK right! That will be the best thing! The exercises of the head, circular motion, morning and evening - circular, back, forward, side, front - this will relieve it the most.

17. (Q) What causes large amount of wax in ears? (A) See, this has been affected - as has been given - through that the body has been building within self. Increase circulation through the activities of the body, through the exercises of the system, the vibrations as will be set up, and the THINKING in attunement with that as would be accomplished - will relieve these conditions. DO that.

18. (Q) What causes weakness in right ankle, and how can it be helped? (A) This is inclusive in that as has been given for the general conditions of the system. These, as we find, happened through a strain. The building up of the general system, the blood supply, the sympathetics, and the activities of the whole system, will increase that strength and vitality necessary. Do those things that have BEEN outlined.
