Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Body & enquiring mind, who seeks information, advice and guidance as to his physical and mental well-being. Questions.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [412], [and] those conditions mentally, physically, materially, that surround and disturb the body, mentally and physically, at this time. Much of this we have had before.
2. As to the general physical forces of the body, these we find rather disturbing and unsatisfactory at the present time. And, as we find from the general or more universal application of conditions, environments, the body is passing astrologically through a period that may well be termed a test period, mentally, physically, spiritually.
3. These conditions have been indicated in that which has already been submitted for investigation or consideration by the body. [See 412-5.]
4. From the physical angle there exists in the body disturbing influences at the present time.
5. From the positions physically that have been occupied by the body, from the worriment in the physical associations and financial stress and strain, there are conditions that hinder in the circulation of the blood supply to the attributes of the circulation to the sensory organism; particularly the head, the neck, and specifically producing an irritation to the eyelids; and affecting sympathetically the back portion of the eyeball itself.
6. These subluxations, as we find, are indicated in the 3rd and 4th cervical and, sympathetically, in the 4th dorsal area. That produced is granular eyelids and bloodshot, or poor circulation through the ball or lens in the portion about the retinae of the eye. If these are allowed to become irritated to where infectious forces may ensue from the irritation, they cause not only a great deal of anxiety but a great deal of pain to the physical body.
7. Those psychological effects that have been indicated by
412-7 Page 2
the attitude of mind over the conditions of the body are contributory causes, and aid in making that thrown off to be either such as to ease the distress or to become irritating to the body.
8. We would find in the present, from the physical standpoint, that manipulations and adjustments to those portions indicated in the body as being disturbed, with considerable activity of the electrification of those portions with the Violet Ray, would be most beneficial to the body.
9. It would be necessary that precautions be taken as to the amount of light, when in open, that is reflected in the eye; or using the lens that are colored.
10. Also it would be found well that the lens used in or for vision when reading, or when in the act of the labors, be toric and of the rose glass; or shaded - as they are; and that the proper cylindrical effects are created so that there is not too great a centralization. Not that the focus should not be properly set, but the toric would be the better type lens, with the color as indicated.
11. The eyes should not be overused at too close work while the applications are being made for the corrections through the system.
12. It would be well also that the general health of the body be looked after rather closely; as to the eliminations and the coordinating between the circulation and assimilation for the body.
13. To have just the activity or movement of the alimentary canal in removing drosses from system, or that which produces only a flushing of the system, is not sufficient. But there should be the coordination in the activity of the spleen, the pancreas, the ducts of the liver itself, and the hepatic circulation, the kidneys, working with the general peristaltic movement of the WHOLE alimentary canal, sufficiently in accord to produce proper eliminations through the system.
14. Then, with such, that assimilated may - with the proper distribution - make for an adding to the system in such a manner as to create a better balance in the blood supply, in the building up of resistances in the physical forces of the body, and meeting the emergencies necessary within the physical activities of the body.
15. In this direction, then, while the diets taken are very well, we would use also external influences that would work with the necessary activities needed by the organs that are indicated in creating sufficient of a stimulation to their activity as to bring about this coordination necessary.
412-7 Page 3
16. Then, we would advise these:
17. One evening upon retiring take a dessertspoonful Milk of Magnesia, in a glass of water.
18. The next evening when retiring take a dessertspoonful Milk of Bismuth in a glass of water.
19. The next evening take a tablespoonful of the alkalin Petrolagar, with a glass of water.
20. The next evening take three minims of Glyco-Thymoline in a glass of water.
21. Then rest from these one day, and repeat again; until at least three to five such cycles have been made.
22. Each of these ingredients will function with the various organs to produce a better balance in the direction that we find so necessary.
23. The manipulations and corrections in the dorsal and cervical area, particularly, we would take at least twice a week until at least sixteen to eighteen such treatments and adjustments have been given.
24. And, following these treatments (though this may be done at home), use the Violet Ray [Violet Ray hand machine, bulb applicator] over the same area; but extending from the cervical area to the head, and in treating the neck with this, apply around the throat, the thyroid, the antrum, and the portions of the circulation THROUGH the head cavities themselves. Not so much directly over the eyes, but to the lower portions of the jaw and over the thyroid area; over the soft tissue in face, around the lower jaw, portion of chin, antrum, just above the portions of face that lead directly to the nasal cavities; behind the ear, top of head, and the like. It would not be too much if such vibrations would be given each evening before retiring, and for a greater period on the days when there would be the application of the adjustments and manipulations.
25. Ready for questions.
26. (Q) What are the numbers of the correct lens suitable for my eyes? (A) These had best be indicated by the testings; for the astigmatism will be found to vary in the right and the left eye somewhat.
27. (Q) In wearing the colored glasses, which color would be best? (A) The smoked glasses, though in the regular lens would be the rose glass, see?
28. (Q) Will my eyes adjust themselves as I grow older? (A) With these corrections that we have advised, they would.
29. (Q) Is it possible that I may become blind in my right eye?
412-7 Page 4
(A) Possible, unless corrections - as we find - are made. For, of course, the vision is lacking considerably there at present; but this is from - But do not allow any pulling on eyes to remove the little pimples that occur on the back; rather stimulate the circulation and the general health to such an extent that these may be removed by the absorption activity, or the system adjusting itself for normalcy.
30. (Q) Which teeth need attention? (A) Quite a number of teeth need attention; for, with the poor circulation and with the drawing on the general activity of the system, several of these need local attention. We would have these gone over generally.
31. (Q) Must the loose back tooth in the right lower jaw be pulled? (A) Would be better.
32. (Q) Could it be saved? (A) Be better, as we find, were it removed. For, the condition has made for a separation in the lower jaw that irritates the glands' activity in the throat; by dead tissue.
33. (Q) Can the entire dental work wait until winter? (A) It CAN wait, but better let the man who does the work wait for the money!
34. (Q) Is my hair treated correctly? (A) The stimulation through the electrical forces will make for better conditions in the hair, though we would not alter much of that that's being applied.
35. (Q) How will I be able to carry out and pay for any treatment described during my present financial struggle? (A) Meet these, each one, day by day, in a manner that is in keeping with the general conditions. For, if the conditions that exist are made known to those who are in proper accord with the needs of their profession, there will be that fellow-feeling that may be made for better conditions of ALL concerned.
36. (Q) What should I do to develop myself to receive those spiritual gifts God has in store for me? (A) Study day by day to show self approved unto God through the applications in the daily associations with man, the fruits of the spirit; as, making the activities in keeping with, "As ye would that men should do unto you, do ye even so unto them." Patience, persistence, loving-kindness, love, graciousness, soft words rather than anger; these will make for the abilities of the mental forces to divide correctly the words of truth that may be received in the periods of meditation when there may be the attuning of self to those influences in the spiritual realm. Yet on each occasion so guard self as to bar the evil influences, by
412-7 Page 5
surrounding self with the love of the Master, of the Christ Consciousness. And, in this manner may there be opened for the body- consciousness, for the physical-mental abilities, the proper relations, the proper activities of the body in the developing of the soul and spiritual influences of the entity, the soul.
37. (Q) Please give me my prayer. (A) Each soul should seek rather that which is the answer in self, yet this may guide in the present: FATHER, THE GIVER OF ALL GOOD AND PERFECT GIFTS, SURROUND THOU ME IN MY SEEKING TO KNOW WHAT THOU WOULD HAVE ME DO WITH THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE PROMISES MADE IN THY SON, THAT HE WILL ABIDE WITH THOSE THAT SEEK TO DO HIS BIDDINGS. SHOW THOU ME THE WAY, AS I PRAY. Then the way is opened before thee, either in the music that may be made by self upon the violin, or in the prostrating of self, in holding the attunement of the consciousness that may come from within, harken to that given. If the success is not found in the first, then seek again and again AT THE SAME PERIOD (that may be chosen); either early in the morning or in the noonday or in the evening, whenever chosen to give that time to HIS making aware in thee that thou shouldst do. For, He has ever promised; and He is faithful to those that cry unto Him in the night or in the day. For, He will not leave thy soul desolate; neither will He allow thee to be burdened beyond that thou art able to bear. But he whom the Lord loveth, he purgeth every one; that each soul may be the purer, in the light.
38. (Q) What is the meaning of the feeling which I have in meditation? (A) More oft it is the fear of "letting go," or at others the interference from without - FROM fear. Yet, as we have given, by the surrounding of self with the Christ, the loving Son's Consciousness, this will be taken away; and the JOY of knowing ye are a channel of blessing will enter in.
39. (Q) Where can I find help and relief in my struggle for existence? (A) In Him; He will show thee the way, and those who NEED that supplied through the physical efforts of self and associates will seek through that channel for that desired. And the laborer is worthy of the hire, in the mental world, the spiritual world and the material world. Fear not. Do RIGHT. All will be well.
412-7 Page 6
Be not weary; be not overcome, but overcome with His promises.
40. (Q) Would God answer if we pray for help in our daily material affairs? (A) Just as we have given.
