1. EC: We have the body here, [413]. Now, as we find, there are conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of the body. While these are not acute, there are various conditions that disturb the body - and these, combined at times, bring about more of that that makes for conditions that are not wholly serious, nor are they to be made light of, or lightly cast aside; for these allowed to become constitutional must, as changes come about, bring greater distresses, and sooner or later under stress become acute in some portions of the system.
2. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [413] we are speaking of, present in this room:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY - This we find in quality and quantity is very good. There are periods at times when the cycle of eliminations, or when there is over-stress in the body, that same becomes rather slow in its reaction, and the pressure becomes low, and we find the resultant effect is of apparent inability to remember, apparent inability to carry on in successive order that as is attempted or tried to be done, the feeling that the body must move from doing this, that or the other - or an over-nervousness. Many of these conditions are just opposite from what is ordinarily termed the low blood pressure. Hence the condition is an effect, not a cause - as is the effects from this of a variation, or at a variation, to that as is produced.
4. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, we find there are many contributory causes to the distresses as are felt at times by the body. In the lumbar we have a depression, as it were, or a subluxation that affects the system from the activities of the pelvic organs, that make for depressions general in the system. Also the repression from conditions existent in the upper dorsal and lower cervical, that affect the sensory organism - that are in sympathy with those tautnesses or lesions in lumbar and upper sacral region. These, as we
413-2 Page 2
find, make for those conditions as we have in the auditory system, those as with the conditions in eyes, the effect as produced for the sensory effect of becoming sensitive to odors, or such; the conditions as at times apparent from peculiar tastes, or desires for various things that seems to self at times unreasonable. All of these are reactions through the sensory system, and make for contributory causes in the system - see?
5. Now, in meeting the needs of these - as is seen - these are not serious in their nature, yet they may so affect organs as to make a constitutional condition, and then - as given - becoming accentuated, would bring about organic disorders, or functional disorders, to such an extent as to be very harmful.
6. In meeting these, we will find that - with persistence and consistence, and with following specific directions as we may find - these will be eliminated from the system.
7. First we would have prepared as this: Tincture of Valerian...................1 ounce, Elixir Calisaya........................2 ounces, 10% solution Iodide of Potassium......20 minims, 10% solution Bromide of Potassium.....15 minims, Tincture of Capsici....................1 minim. Sufficient of a carrier (preferably carrying Pepsin - Peptotol, or Pepsin - Lactated) to make 6 ounces. Shake solution together before the dose is taken. We would take half a teaspoonful in water, or from the spoon, three times each day.
8. We would use the electrically driven vibrator on the spine each evening when ready to retire, especially in the lumbar and upper sacral, and from the solar plexus center to the base of the head.
9. Every morning and evening, for one to two minutes, take the head and neck exercise; that is, begin - sitting erect, either before arising or just after arising, and just before retiring or when ready to retire - with the head bend forward three times, just as far as it may be bent; slow, not fast. Then bend backward. Then to the left, then to the right - three times each one. Then circulate to the right three times, then circulate to the left three times. At first this will make some dizziness. It will, after a few days, make for a change in the hearing, producing at first rather inconvenience, but gradually will this be an aid to eyes, ears, nose, taste, and the general condition of the system.

[See 413-2, Par. R10.]
10. As for the matter of diet, be mindful that eliminations are kept near normal. When necessary for cathartic, or for the use of the properties to make for assimilation, use alternately Milk of Magnesia, Milk of Bismuth, and Alophen. This carries the proper amount of strychnine that would be well for the body. These should not be taken regularly, but when taken take the whole course one after the other.
11. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) Is it necessary that I meditate at the very same period as the Healing Group in order to be benefited by it? [See 281-5 Background.] (A) It is not! There is more in unison, to be sure - but if the meditating of the group and meditation of self is sincere, are they not one? There is no time. Then are they not one?
13. (Q) Is there any tubercular or cancerous condition in my body? (A) We do not find such.
14. (Q) What causes the disturbance of long-standing under my left ribs? (A) Those pressures, as has been described, in the upper dorsal area. Hence rather than trying to make adjustments or deep manipulative measures at first, begin with the vibrations to equalize the whole condition.
15. (Q) Will I have the physical strength to go through with the work I have obligated myself to do? (A) Do as we have outlined and you will gain under it!
16. (Q) Will I be able to get back my hearing? (A) To a great extent.
17. (Q) Will it be necessary to wear glasses? (A) In close work, it will.
18. (Q) Has the body finished with the menopause period? (A) When these are taken, as has been outlined, there will come those reoccurrences at periods, and - as we have seen and given - these are better to be eliminated at the present time.
