Time of Reading 3:30 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va.

1. GC: You will have before you the soul body and the mind of [413], present in this room, who seeks a description of the conditions of the soul body and mind in self or others which contribute to any imperfect condition, and an outline of specific methods for corrections, whether in the material, mental or spiritual realms. You will then answer the questions which will be asked concerning my home relations, the Jennings estate, and also my physical body.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [413] - this we have had before.

3. In that sought to be understood respecting that as may make for the understanding of relationships, of developments in self, in relationships to conditions mental and physical, much wording might be required for the correct presentation of such conditions to be workable, plausible or understandable.

4. Well that each individual recognize that the position, the condition they as an individual occupy in relationships to others, to the conditions that surround them, are - provided their own development has been in accord with that they from period to period held in their individual soul as their standard of the correct living in every sense relating to mind, soul and body - that THEY themselves have builded, and is NECESSARY for their own best development as related to every condition, mental, physical, spiritual; but for one in any experience or manner to have of their own free will disobeyed, or done that they themselves felt was not in accord, or fallen short of that they set as their ideal, then comes the necessity for that soul, that individual, to right-about and to make such amends, such an atonement in their mental-material experience that there may be the cleansing of the soul-consciousness, that it may be one with that which has been set.

5. This, as understood, is hard indeed for many that are unstable or that become all-wise within their own conceits

to understand or comprehend.

6. Each soul, then, should gain this consciousness; that in HIM is the light, Him referring to that One that has been given into the world to become the Savior, the Redeemer of the world. Then, as one holds that consciousness, as one sets self to become one with that understanding necessary for the awakening of all forces and sources of activity within the physical conciousness as related both to the mental and material conditions in the life, so does there come within self that awareness OF that position held, that position one finds self within, and so is there given - through those promises that are in Him, by Him and THROUGH Him - that necessary for one to meet those things in their daily experience, their daily walks of life, in such a manner, in such an understandable way that the yoke becomes easy, the burdens become light. He has given that he that is faithful shall wear the crown of life; he that has been faithful even unto the end, he who has known and who does know all manners of temptations that come to the hearts, the minds, the souls of men, both mentally and materially; and He has given, "Lo, I am WITH those who love me even unto the end. I will not leave thee comfortless, I will come to thee," as oft as THOU within thine self will LET, will desire, will make self a channel for the expressions of that love which MADE Him the Savior of men.

7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) What causes uncongenial conditions in my home, and how may they be corrected? (A) Lack of understanding. Only patience, prayer, persistence in keeping self in the manner and way of BEING, in act, in word, that thou wouldst have Him be in thine own stead; knowing that as He has given, "I bring peace, harmony, to those who are faithful unto the end."

9. (Q) What may I do or not do, say or not say, to bring more congeniality? (A) Keep in that way that self feels, self knows, HE would have thee be. Speak only as He gives utterance, knowing as He has given, "Be not over mindful as to what ye shall say in hours of temptation, for if thou abide in me in that same hour will there be given thee that thou shouldst say, that thou shouldst NOT say; that thou shouldst do, that thou shouldst NOT do. FAITH in Him, the abiding faith that brings the greater understanding of what He would have conditions be. Ever let thy thought be, "Not my will but Thine, O Lord, be done in me." Make God the Father, Make the Son the Brother, more personal in thine experiences day by day. Find not fault with another, even as God condemns

not in the same hour but wills that no soul should separate self from the Father. Know, then, that all works together for good to those that love His coming. [See 413-11.]

10. (Q) In ans. to 28-Q of my life reading, [413-1, Par. 28-A] what was meant by "the break" referred to in regard to the Jennings estate? (A) The break, or separation, or misunderstanding that came to a portion of the family - 1678 [A.D.] - when there was the break between those that came to this particular portion of the country and some that remained or went elsewhere.

11. (Q) In regard t0 A. L. Jordan, lawyer in the case, were there any influences brought to bear on him other than that brought out in court? (A) These, as we find, are conditions that would be hard to say as to what or how, or through whom influences were brought to bear, and to make then of such specific natures or charges as to in legal terms prove it; yet, as we find, there was more brought to bear than was in accord WITH the better interest of ALL concerned.

12. (Q) Please trace the line of my paternal ancestors on the Jennings side, preceding my grandfather John and great-grandfather Miles Jennings. (A) These, as we find, may be given; but as for usage concerning these situations in which the body is interested at the present, these may be best done from those records where there were the changes in the living, or the changes in the countries from which, to which, these went in their sojourns. These should be begun from those records that are a portion of each of the records, or logs of these periods, when these as individuals made those sojourns from place or land to land.

13. (Q) Of the two Jennings brothers (my ancestors) that first settled in North Carolina, where did the one go that became dissatisfied and left? (A) Australia.

14. (Q) Is there any information of value to me in Raleigh, N.C., pertaining to this case? (A) Those records that were a portion of the first settlers in this particular portion of the country would be of SPECIAL interest to the body.

15. (Q) When will the case be brought up in court, and will it be decided as it is planned now, in favor of the rightful heirs? (A) As we would find, the indications are at present that in the coming year it would be settled, and in favor of the rightful heirs.

16. (Q) Would it be well for me to try to get any information myself, or try to get the money to pay lawyer

413-3 Page 4

Eller in Petersburg to get it for me? (A) As we would find, it would be well to pay the lawyer; for those records that are begun, those that have been started in this direction are in the right line, as has been given. [2/6/41 See brother's rdg. 622-6, Par. 40-A in re same estate.]

17. (Q) In regard to my physical body: What causes pain in my arms and shoulders and what will relieve it? (A) This, as we find, is - as has been indicated [See 413-2 on 4/20/32] - produced by that which is termed a neuritic condition, or that from overtaxing of the nerve forces of the system through drosses in the system. When there is added sufficient of those properties that will make for a more normal balance of the metabolism and katabolism of the system, these - we will find - will disappear. Begin with the small doses of the Eno Salts, and take in sufficient quantity not to become detrimental to the welfare of the internal circulation but that will cleanse the whole intestinal system as related to the assimilating system, especially. These, we would find, would make for better conditions in the body. This should be taken (the salts) in the early morning before breaking fast.

18. (Q) Give the condition of my teeth, and the required treatment. (A) As indicated, there are poisons in the system that naturally make for accumulations in the upper portion of the system. There is the necessity that there be some local attention to the teeth. Then, with the matter of the diet and the cleansing of the system, and the changing of the activities in system, then those properties that would add to the better status for the condition of gums and teeth may be found or added in Ipsab.

19. (Q) What can I do to remove dandruff, or use? (A) That which would be the better for this particular cause in this body, as we find, would be crude oil that may be weakened to that solution where the shampoo of same once a month, once in six weeks, would keep the scalp and the condition in a normal, healthy way. This would be given by reducing the crude oil with olive oil, see? to the constituency of two parts of crude to one part of the olive oil. When this is used as a shampoo, then cleanse it with any of the soaps or cleansing agents that will remove the better portion from that part of the hair not close to the scalp, see? Then massage into the scalp small quantities of White Vaseline. THEN cleanse with one part alcohol to twenty

parts of water.

20. (Q) What causes the small lump [cyst?] between the end of my spine and rectum, and what can be done to eliminate it? (A) This massaged with a small quantity of Iodex once or twice a week will be removed. This is produced by a thickening of the tissue that received in times back an injury. With the massage it will be absorbed and eliminated from the system. Best that this be done night and morning; small quantity. Do that.

21. (Q) Any further advice for the body at this time? (A) Keep in the way that self has so oft set before self. Be not unmindful that at times the way may be heavy, and the road may be long, yet the crown is to him that endures even as He; for as the next lesson shall be, "The Cross and the Crown." [See 262-33 Background and 2/5/33 262-37, her personal message on The Cross and Crown.]
