Time of Reading 12:00 to 12:05 Noon Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

2. In some respects we find the general conditions very good; in others we find the distresses upon the mental and sympathetic nervous force working a hardship upon the sensory forces of the body.

3. As we would find in the present, each day there should be a general stimulation with the violet ray along the upper dorsal and upper cervical, or throughout the cervical area; around the neck and the head, around the ear; and then a general massage - not a treatment but a massage, as with the electrically driven vibrator. These would continue to make for greater improvements in the general physical forces of the body.

4. The violet ray would be applied for two and a half to five minutes.

5. The massage given by the vibrator would be from five to fifteen minutes. Use the sponge applicator for the head and neck, and the cup applicator along the spine - from the 9th dorsal upward. And don't just hurry through with it! The one making the application should see that it is REACHING those portions that are under distress!

6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) Please describe condition in ear. (A) An irritation by the inflow of congested forces without the proper quantity of stimulation to relieve same of the distresses, produced by those tendencies from the upper dorsal and through the cervical for the lack of impulse to those portions of the body itself. Follow those suggestions as we have indicated, and these - as we find - would bring the better conditions for the body.

8. (Q) What causes the cough, and what may be done to relieve it? (A) The same that produces the disturbances to the soft

tissue and mucous membranes of the head and of the auditory forces, also produces the irritation or tickling sensation that produces a cough - and a tendency to clear the throat.

9. (Q) Why am I gaining weight so fast? (A) The balance in the system tends to put on avoirdupois about those portions of the organs that are functioning normally. A distribution by those vibratory forces set up will tend to make for a better equilibrium here.

10. (Q) Should the applications suggested in first reading [413-2] be continued? (A) Only those that may conform to, or work with, the activities as suggested here.

11. (Q) What should be done to cure roaring in ear? (A) This is included in those things as indicated; in the use of the violet ray and the applicator about same. Use the vibrator SPONGE applicator about the neck and head; that is, around the FACE and head, and the cup applicator on the spinal column itself. These should soon prove helpful; though they may be irritating at times, even more so than at present, but gradually the condition should recede - and the corrections being made in the system will relieve the distress. Cleanse the ear at times, to be sure, with any warm solution; preferably a combination of salt and soda in equal parts with distilled water; or with a little sweet oil and then cleanse with a little tuft of cotton or the like. For these are the natural discharges that come from the lack of the distribution of refuse forces or used energies within the system itself. Keep the mental and physical body fit.
