Time of Reading 11:30 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [416], present in this room.

2. Now, as we find, in the physical forces of the body, while there are some disturbing factors, we would give suggestions rather for precautions regarding tendencies that exist from physical conditions that have caused and do cause some of these tendencies.

3. These, as we find, are rather of the specific nature, and affect more the nervous system from subluxations that exist in the cerebrospinal system. With their corrections we would find changes in the reactions in portions of the body, and a better physical body for the manifestation of the mental, material and spiritual influences that surround the body, [416], we are speaking of, present in this room.

4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body in the present:

5. The BLOOD SUPPLY we find near normal. The pulsations and the respirations are near normal.

6. In the NERVE SYSTEM, as indicated, we do find conditions that disturb the better equilibrium of the body. These have existed for some time, and while the activities in some directions have been a contributory cause, these are the BASIC conditions - and the correction of these would overcome such tendencies.

7. There exists, then, in the 3rd and 4th dorsal, in the 5th, 4th and 3rd cervical, some subluxations. In the 3rd and 4th cervical we find a FORM of lesion, produced by the subluxation. It is rather the form of a plethora condition, especially or specifically in the right side in the 4th cervical, between the 4th and 5th, and in the 2nd and 3rd on the left side. With the contributory subluxations in the dorsal area, these prevent a perfect circulation to the sympathetic activity in the organs of the sensory system. Hence we have the conditions with the eyes that make for a

416-3 Page 2

tendency of irritation, not only to the lids themselves at times but to the nerves of the eyeball as related to the secondary nerves about the optic itself. Hence we have in the one vision or eye one form of astigmatism while in the other the lateral or another form of astigmatism. These are not conditions that may not be corrected, with the alignments relieved in the areas indicated and the head and neck exercise taken; not too severely, but systematically and consistently, and we would find these conditions would be overcome.

8. From the same condition we find also in the dorsal area a secondary reaction to the cardiac portion of the stomach, so that at times there is the tendency for a very small quantity of food to satisfy the appetite - even though the body may be quite hungry - and there is even felt a fullness. This with the hypogastric plexus makes for a contraction of the stomach itself, and if there is the insistency there is the tendency for foods not to digest properly - from the reactions from same in the duodenum, where there is not sufficient activity of the gastric juices of the stomach, or a tendency for a superhydrochloric activity. Hence also, if the corrections are made - rather than the addition of properties to force or to produce in the gastric juices the proper amount or balance of the flow of juices from the system - there may be brought a normalcy for the activity in the system; for, while this would be a slower way, it would be more effective.

9. As to the reactions from these, we find there are times when there is a sort of numbness to the fingers - especially if there is a pressure in the position of the body, from sitting on a stool a long period of time or from driving a car for a long time that requires one position of the shoulder or arm. And later, if the corrections are not made, there will be created a poor circulation in the lower limbs also. These effects come from the conditions that are sympathetic in the areas indicated, and are not of the organs themselves or an unbalancing of the necessary elements for a proper activity throughout the assimilating and eliminating system; but with a constant pressure existent these would sooner or later, through the sympathetic reaction, produce conditions that would be much more troublesome to the body. This makes for times when headaches arise, both from the stomach and from the eyes; as from the pressure produced in the cervical area, as indicated, especially where the lesion has been indicated in the body. At times when under a certain cycle of circulation, from cold or congestion, there is a roughness

416-3 Page 3

rather in the throat, and a tendency for the lymph circulation to be impaired through the head. These effects occur rather spasmodically, and are not continuous.

10. We would then, through the applications known as the mechanical adjustments in an osteopathic manner, make six to ten corrections and treatments in these specific areas; especially in the 3rd and 4th - the pressure would be from the left toward the right, while in the 2nd and 3rd cervical area it would be from the opposite way and manner; while in the dorsal, where there is a sympathetic condition indicated, there would be the elongating of same and the RELEASING of the pressures to such a way and manner as to bring the nearer normal conditions for the body.

11. As to the manner in which these treatments should be taken, as indicated, there should be sufficient for not only the adjustment but for making the association of the corrections to the other portions of the system. For, when there has been a tendency for the flow of lymph, the impulse in the nerve forces, to run counter with the muscular supply as well as the blood vessels to the portions of the system, it is necessary that there be a coordination through a general massage.

12. In relation to the school information which we gave through these sources, as indicated, the preferable activity would be in the direction of the correspondence school; [See 416-2] as we find, preferably either the International of the LaSalle Institute. And then we will find, with the changes that will naturally come in the general conditions as related to the communications and their lines, the body will be in line WITH those that are to be formed in the centers as indicated.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) What is causing ear trouble, and remedy? (A) A sympathetic condition from the sensory organism, as indicated.

15. (Q) Should I have tonsils removed; if so, when and where? (A) Don't have them removed unless these form within themselves an activity that PRODUCES the condition in its action; that is, the tonsils are for a purpose - and they were not fish gills either! They are for the clarifying of the respiratory system as related to not only breathing but as to the activity in the lung supply, and nature's remedy for poisons that may aid in creating distresses in the lungs themselves. With the correction in the dorsal and cervical area specific, and with the head and neck exercise as indicated (which may be begun more specifically after six to ten

416-3 Page 4

ADJUSTMENTS have been made in the dorsal and cervical area), and the general treatments that have been indicated, we will find that the condition in the eyes will disappear - also in the ear and in the speech, and the body will be more sensitive to touch also! We would take the head and neck exercise every Wednesday, you see that's once each week - we call it Wednesday. Sit erect in bed and do this before you get up in the mornings. Three movements of the head forward, three movements of the head backward; then make the forward and backward circular motion to the right, then to the left; three times each way. Then to the left side, far over - gently, not a strain; then three times to the right side - then three times to the left.

16. (Q) Should I have appendix removed? (A) Not unless trouble arises. With the correction of the conditions from the ligaments as indicated, in the cardiac portion of the digestive system, the eliminations and the activities of these, we find that it will not be necessary. The appendix is meant to be there also; and it isn't a portion of the monkey's tail, as SOME have indicated - or a portion of those activities that are considered UNNECESSARY; for it is as a scavenger to all the influences. For, why do not they find as much disorder or trouble from an opening or a duct back of the lungs as from the activity here? With the corrections in the body, the organs will function properly. To be sure, should the body allow constipation or inflammation to arise, this may become as necessary as it would be to cut off a crushed arm that could not be remedied; but it has a purpose - and the body isn't whole without it!

17. (Q) Should I take any form of physical exercise, other than the head and neck exercise? (A) It's well that each body, every body, take exercise to counteract the daily routine activity, so as to produce rest. Walking is the best exercise for this body; preferably in the evening.

18. (Q) Will I be able to discard my glasses after following these treatments? (A) Be able to discard glasses; but the better manner would be to first change the glasses once - that is, for weaker glasses as the eyes improve - and then discard them.

19. (Q) How can I eliminate dripping in head? Is this sinus trouble? (A) As indicated, this is from the poor circulation, and is

416-3 Page 5

the lymph's activity. As indicated, we find the expressions of the impingements or subluxations are both right and left, see? Hence the circulation is allowed in part to be active and produces this. If it is allowed to remain, we will have sinus trouble - or all the soft tissue of the nose, face and even behind the ear might become involved. But if the drainages are set up properly by the corrections in the dorsal and cervical area, all these conditions will disappear.

20. (Q) Should I take a radio engineering course through the American or the International Correspondence School to begin with? (A) As we find, either through the International or the LaSalle. Either of these will be the proper course to pursue for the preparation of the combinations that will later arise in the activity of all transmission lines.

21. (Q) Through whom should the approach be made? (A) The regular correspondence school.

22. (Q) What osteopath would you recommend to give the treatments? (A) One rather versed in this line of work, but don't let him talk you into taking out your tonsils! Richardson. He will want to do that first! DON'T do it!

23. (Q) Any other advice for my better well-being? (A) Do these things that we have outlined, and we will find that these physical conditions that have been gradually increasing in disturbances - as to the lymph circulation through the upper portion of the body, through the organs of the sensory system and the digestive area - will be eliminated; and you will be a good body.
