Time of Reading 11:40 to 12:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Body and enquiring mind, who seeks information, advice and guidance as to his work and study for advancement, and as to world affairs. Questions.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [416]; this we have had before.
2. In the physical forces of the body, these we find improved from that as we have had here before. Still, there are those weaknesses and the lack of proper coordination between the deeper nerve forces and the sympathetics that coordinate with the nerves to the sensory system.
3. As we would find, there would be a great improvement for the eyes, for the hearing, for the THROAT condition - that appears at times through cold and congestion, by the use of the Radio-Active Appliance; PROVIDED this is taken consistently. This, to be sure, is an equalizer, making for the electronic changes that aid in balancing the circulation.
4. While the osteopathic corrections have been most beneficial, and have prevented a great deal of trouble here, the use of the Radio-Active Appliance now would be the most effective.
5. The attachments would be made in this manner: The first anode attached would be to the 3rd and 4th DORSAL center, and the other anode - last attached - to the 2nd and 3rd CERVICAL center. The vibrations created through such attachments would, as we find, coordinate the circulation as to be most beneficial.
6. We would apply this for thirty minutes to an hour each day, or each evening as the body is to rest, for periods of three weeks; and then rest a week, then take it again for three weeks, and so on. While this will not make for any external feeling, the body will find that the responses to the sensory forces will be materially improved.
7. Keep that attitude in the constructive forces for the body; and the diets more in an alkalin-reacting nature, or
416-7 Page 2
tending toward the alkalin; and these will be found to be most beneficial.
8. These we would do.
9. In the study, [See 416-2 on 4/29/34; also 257-30, Par. 17-A] in the preparation for the mental and material advancements, as we have indicated and as we find, those connections, those associations and study that deal with the communications. Especially as to those relationships that must eventually come, and that as we find by '39 should be a fact - that is, the united activity of Radio and the Telegraph lines. This is indicated by the entrance into the field of activity through the radiograms from not only communications in the distant portions and from vessels, but from land communications that are being handled in much the same manner. [See 416-7 Reports.]
10. Through some associations or connections that have been indicated, and that have been looked into in part, these will keep the body, the mind, not only in accord but IN LINE and in association with these developments as they are carried forward. [See 416-8, Par. 8-A--15-A.]
11. As to the affairs of an international nature, these we find are in a condition of great anxiety on the part of many; not only as individuals but as to nations.
12. And the activities that have already begun have assumed such proportions that there is to be the attempt upon the part of groups to penalize, or to make for the associations of groups to carry on same.
13. This will make for the taking of sides, as it were, by various groups or countries or governments. This will be indicated by the Austrians, Germans, and later the Japanese joining in their influence; unseen, and gradually growing to those affairs where there must become, as it were, almost a direct opposition to that which has been the THEME of the Nazis (the Aryan). For these will gradually make for a growing of animosities.
14. And unless there is interference from what may be called by many the SUPERNATURAL forces and influences, that are activative in the affairs of nations and peoples, the whole WORLD - as it were - will be set on fire by the militaristic groups and those that are "for" power and expansion in such associations.
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) Have I fully recovered from accident of last year, and should I resume studying Radio? (A) As indicated. And, as may be seen from a study of the activity that is the activative principle in Radio and in the use of the Radio-Active Appliance, from the COSMIC
416-7 Page 3
viewpoint such vibrations will ATTUNE the body not only for PHYSICAL conditions but for the mental attitudes and mental equipment for the unifying of a subject within self, as well as the active forces from without. As to the general conditions of the health FROM the accident, save as those impulses which arise from the incoordinations indicated, the body may be said to have recovered. Yet WITHOUT KEEPING the tendencies of impulse from various plexus and the activities that these plexus have upon the organic functioning of bodily functions in the system, the body could gradually grow back to the hindrances again. Hence as indicated, the NECESSITIES - from the physical angle - for the use of the Radio-Active Appliance, for not only the eyes and the general activities (together with the following of the correct diets) but for creating the proper impulses to centers and ganglia and nerve systems that have been "attuned" and need to be kept, as it were, in accord.
17. (Q) About how long each day should I study? (A) An hour should be sufficient. And it would be very well to do the studying during the better part of the time while the Appliance is being used, if the body will recline for same.
18. (Q) About how long before I shall be in the Radio field? And in what department? (A) This - as may be indicated from the information just given of a general nature, and from the unification of communications in various forms - will depend upon circumstances; and upon the abilities of the various organizations and groups to the sooner unify. But, as we find, within the next three and a half to four years.
19. (Q) How long shall I be in my present position? (A) This, AGAIN, will depend upon circumstances; and upon the general attitude and trend of the activities of the individual. This, as we find, may be said to be - Well, how long does the body DESIRE to remain in that? This would have as much to do as the change.
20. (Q) How long before merger or consolidation of communications? (A) As has been indicated.
21. (Q) Through whom shall I make my first contact? (A) Through any of those associations that are making for this general coordination or unification of such activities. This would MAKE for, as we have indicated, keeping the body - mentally, and materially - in association and connection
416-7 Page 4
with changes so that the body does not become, as it were, sidetracked in either direction, see? Yet there's no necessity of making such an OUTWARD activity as to INDICATE to those in authority that there is the DESIRE to leave off those activities that are assuring in the present associations and connections.
22. (Q) Would you advise studying any foreign language? If so, which? (A) Spanish and French would UNIFY, of course, the abilities in those possibilities and those prospects that loom before the general activities. One, of course, is HELPFUL to the other; but these should form a portion of the familiarizing of self with the communications in such natures - or such languages at least.
23. (Q) In what manner? Would the graphophone system be preferable? (A) The graphophone system is an easy method of acquainting self with not only the terms but the phrases and the terminology of the language in this manner. This, then, makes it in the manner in which the body is studying and would study - and in which the time is taken - as the more preferable in the BEGINNING. And this familiarizes the body in a way and manner that would be, as we find, a much preferable way and manner to spend thirty minutes or an hour each day in the study of such.
24. (Q) At this time could you suggest how I could help my parents, especially how I could secure my father [Mr. [389]] a position? (A) This is well to be considered, and is exemplary in the thought. But consider the whole circumstance of that which has been the training, the environ, the general activity, that which would occur to the body for any specific - or what would be right or rote for the body-activity. As we find, then, in considering all, it would be the better policy, be more in keeping with that which may make for the greater joy, to ASSIST the father in his own environs and in his own surroundings; rather than in making for such changes that would cause disturbing factors to arise. Then, in counsel, in material aid, in the unifying of those ideas that have been so long a portion of the body (the father); these would be, as we find, for the remaining period of this experience for him, the greater joy and the greater help.
25. (Q) How long should I hold lots recently purchased? [54th St., Va. Beach, Va.]
416-7 Page 5
(A) Until the next season of the activities begin, which will be - as we find - in May, or April.
26. (Q) Kindly give me any advice that will benefit me spiritually, physically, mentally. (A) Much might be given in these directions. These are not just as trite sayings, but rather make them as a portion of the inner self, as may be FELT by self in its associations with its fellow man day by day, in associations with those of organizations or corporations. These should be considered as a unit: Study to show self approved unto thy Maker, thy better self. Purposefulness, then, in that done or accomplished or thought, that brings CONSTRUCTIVE influence and experience into the hearts and minds and lives of individuals. It isn't the great things. No great deeds of valor are accomplished without AGES of preparation in the SOUL of one that accomplishes same. It is just being kind, just being gentle, just being patient, FIRST with self and self's relationships to thy fellow man. These are not principles that are for the church alone, nor for the lodge, nor social organizations; but more and more the principles to be applied in the experience of the business man, the social man, in the everyday life. Thus may better the glory of the Lord shine through thine experience. HOW MUCH greater in the experience of each soul to at the end of any given day have the satisfaction of the best within self say to thee, "Well done!" than to have all the GLORY of man that you have tricked or have overstepped in some manner that may have been for material gain! THESE, then, will keep thee in the right way.
27. (Q) Regarding the general world conditions, is it likely that changes in the earth's surface in the Mediterranean area will stop Italy's campaign against Ethiopia? (A) Not at THIS particular period. This may EVENTUALLY be a portion of the experience, but not just yet.
28. (Q) When is this likely to occur? (A) As to times and places and seasons, as it has indeed been indicated in the greater relationships that have been established by the prophets and sages of old - and
416-7 Page 6
especially as given by Him, "As to the day and the hour, who knoweth? NO ONE, save the Creative Forces." Tendencies in the hearts and souls of men are such that these may be brought about. For, as indicated through these channels oft, it is not the world, the earth, the environs about it nor the planetary influences, nor the associations or activities, that RULE man. RATHER does man - by HIS COMPLIANCE with divine law - bring ORDER out of chaos; or, by his DISREGARD of the associations and laws of divine influence, bring chaos and DESTRUCTIVE forces into his experience. For HE hath given, "Though the heavens and the earth pass away, my WORD shall NOT pass away!" This is oft considered as just a beautiful saying, or something to awe those who have been stirred by some experience. But applying them into the conditions that exist in the affairs of the world and the universe in the present, what HOLDS them - what are the foundations of the earth? The word of the Lord!
29. (Q) Will the League attempt to force OTHER THAN economic sanctions? (A) As indicated. The economic sanction, and then the turmoil that arises from partisans - and questions picked here and there by those unions. Latvia, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Austria, Bulgaria, Japan - of these (and with German influence) be mindful!
