Time of Reading 10:50 to 11:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [416], present in this room. You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [416]; this we have had before.

3. Many conditions are very good throughout the body. There are still, however, those tendencies for any congestion or any tautness produced by toxic forces - whether from the digestion and lack of full eliminations or from cold or the like - to produce upsetting conditions; from those centers and areas where there have been those disturbances from straining muscular and tendon tissue. Thus the headaches, the eyes, the dryness in throat, the anxiety after eating, not full or complete rest after the periods of attempted relaxation or sleep.

4. These, then, are the bursa along the areas in the spine, as well as in the feet and limbs, giving anxiety or pressure; producing the disturbance to the sympathetic system, as well as reflexly in the central nervous system.

5. Hence as we find, occasionally - at least once in two weeks or once in ten days - we would have a thorough relaxation from a cabinet sweat followed by a deep, thorough Swedish massage.

6. Also about once in two weeks - though not at the same period - have a thorough osteopathic RELAXING treatment.

7. We find that these will set up reactions that will bring about much better and the more perfect coordinations throughout the system.

8. Be mindful that there are plenty of vegetables of all kinds taken in the system in the diet.

9. But do these and we will bring better forces for this body.

10. In the osteopathic adjustments, make special reference to the whole of the cervical area and upper dorsal, and

especially in the lumbar and throughout the sacrals.

11. Ready for questions.

12. (Q) Please explain in detail just what treatments I should take for the hemorrhoid trouble. (A) The better relaxation, as indicated. And then an exercise taken three or four times, morning before dressing and evening when ready to retire. This gradually will bring a great deal of relief. Standing erect, rise gently on the toes, with the arms extended high above the head - these gradually being raised, you see. As the body rises on the toes, gradually raise the arms also. Then bend forward as far as possible. Do this at least three times, morning and evening. If there is the continuance of great disturbance, use Pazo's Suppositories. These will be beneficial.

13. (Q) What causes the sleepiness after eating and what should be done to stop this? (A) The general toxic condition. Lack of the proper assimilation. Hence take away the nerve pressures on bursa throughout the system, as indicated, or the ganglia in the cerebrospinal system and the bursa in the limbs and feet.

14. (Q) Considering my experience and local connections [See 416-15], might I be of greater service to my country either through the F.B.I. or the Military Intelligence Division? If so, which one? (A) If either of these is chosen, the F.B.I., or departments of same. But as to the greater service, the present associations and relations carry needs for greater number than might be accomplished by any INDIVIDUAL activity.

15. (Q) How and through whom should I make application for this, if chosen? (A) Through the regular channels, if this is to be chosen by the body. These choices, then, are to be made. As indicated, as we find, there is as great a service being rendered in the present connections for large NUMBERS of people, see? that is of as great value, or of greater value to the defense of the country.

16. (Q) What osteopath would you recommend? (A) Either Richardson or Ober. [M. L. Richardson, D.O., Vincent H. Ober, D.O.]

17. (Q) Where should the cabinet sweats and Swedish massage be obtained? (A) In a hydrotherapy place. [He later told us he went to the Jane Witcher Swedish Massage Studio.] Neither of these osteopaths gives cabinet baths.

18. (Q) Any further advice?
