1. GC: You will have before you the body, soul and enquiring mind of [416], present in this room; together with conditions at Norfolk-Southern office at ..., Virginia regarding present problems and future opportunities. You will answer the questions as he submits, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the entity, the soul-mind, [416]; present in this room; together with the problems in the associations, as in connections with Norfolk-Southern Railroad, ..., Virginia.

4. (Q) In a previous reading the name Pennsylvania was mentioned in connection with some future connection. Just what was meant by Pennsylvania? (A) As indicated, the associations and connections of the entity, and its manner of conduction of the opportunities and the work at this local office, will bring about those connections or associations with the affiliated road - The Pennsylvania Railroad, or system.
5. (Q) What changes in manner of operation at station would you suggest? (A) The policies, as we find, that have been adopted by the entity are very good. While, to be sure, there are some hindrances in the associates or connections, in their inability to adapt themselves to the extreme conditions and circumstances - we find that, as to the policies that are set, we would not change. True, this requires that the last word, or all problems that arise, have the attention of the entity - and this works a hardship. But owing to the general circumstance, this we would keep. The only change, then, would be that more often there be required the complete report from all of those connected with the activities, or - as may be - in this manner: Have some set period - not necessary that notification be given, but - have a period at least each week in which all of those

who have charge of departments, TOGETHER - not separate, as to appear as one being pitted against another, but TOGETHER - have a few minutes, or thirty minutes, of the problems of each department or phase of the work. And this will save the body much, and expedite the abilities of the individuals to better carry on their phase of the work.
6. (Q) Are there any subversive activities in my office? (A) Not purposefully. There are some that others question, as to their ability, or as to their sincerity. But the adopting of those conditions as just indicated should, and will, meet these conditions - if presided over by the entity, and free discussion had from each of the heads or phases of the department.
7. (Q) At the present time should I make any change in my present employment? (A) Scarcely would be capable of carrying on with many changes made. As we find, we can make these more capable with the adoption of the suggested rule.
8. (Q) Considering the information given me on March 21, 1936, [416-8], are there any steps which I should take now to make connections in the communications field? (A) At last indicated to the entity, to be sure varied circumstances have arisen. And there are emergencies that are in the conditions and in the activities of the entity. During this particular period of emergency we would not seek a great deal of change. But with the more efficient way of handling the situations, by the adopting of those conditions as outlined, and as will grow out of same, this may bring about the connections which we have indicated would be well for the entity to make.
9. (Q) What effect has the war had on these developments? (A) As just indicated, these have so accentuated other phases of activities that these must stand in abeyance for the time being, at least. But, as suggested, these may be entirely bypassed in the long run, unless there is an earlier cessation of emergencies than is indicated in the immediate.
10. (Q) Is it likely that I shall be called to the armed forces; if so, when, and in what branch should I apply for a commission? (A) Unless there is the express desire on the part of the entity for such service, we do not find it likely or probable that the entity would be called. As to whether the entity DESIRES this - this can only be determined within self. If there is the innate feeling within self that there is a desire to PERSONALLY give self in a defense of the country, or the purposes or ideals, then the entity should consider same. But know within self, he that waits and

serves is just as much a contributor to the welfare of the country as he that offers himself even in combat.
11. (Q) At this time is it practical to ask about when hostilities will cease? (A) As we find, within ten months they will cease. This means actual hostilities, it will be much longer before there is a peace.
12. (Q) When this does come about, can you advise some of the world conditions and how to meet them? (A) This will depend upon much of the activities of those who have the establishing of the relationships. Individually - know that right, justice, mercy, patience - as was represented and presented by Him, the Prince of Peace - is the basis upon which the new world order MUST eventually be established, before there IS peace. Then, innately, mentally, and manifestedly in self, prepare self for cooperative measures in all phases of human relations in this direction.
13. (Q) How, when and where should I associate myself with air transportation? If this is advised, please tell me something about the future of this business after hostilities cease. [See 416-7.] (A) This, to be sure - air transportation - will become more and more the basis of ALL relationships with other nations, countries, as well as the internal or national activity. Thus, all communications are a part of this activity. Thus, as the entity shows itself capable, and adopts plans, measures, policies and ways of meeting the conditions in the existent circumstances, it fits itself to work in the newer relationships that will be a part of the general communication system. As understood, the connections in the present environ are but stepping-stones to that newer order. It will be seen, while all are not entirely - in name - one system of railroads owning all; the entity's connections are with those that will be as the parent organization in communications. This means not only radio and telegraph (for these must be eventually one), and the railroads (for they will never be entirely eliminated), but more and more the air as the greater means of communications. But one begins with using that in hand.

14. (Q) Should I hold the 25 acres of land near Oceana, also two sites in Linkhorn Park and lots on 54th Street? (A) Hold them until at least the early spring; that is, the lots. HOLD the acreage; for that may be the basis for the extreme periods through which all portions of the country must pass - for production for self as well as those closer associated with the body. 15. (Q) When I ask for a Check Life Reading, which would be more helpful, a check on a period already given or to leave it to the discretion of the Forces? (A) Check on a period that appeals to the entity. For, know - and as may be given greater expression as there is the unfoldment in the minds of others - in a period in the earth of ANY individual soul-entity, there are activities that leave their stamp, their impression, their body; not of a physical nature, not even of a mental nature, save as of the soul. And thus that attained is never lost. That as lost is never regained; but that which is the builder is of the spirit and the soul. Thus an interpretation of those experiences of an entity in the earth gives the BASIC mind and soul of an individual. Hence choose that experience that has, to self, a meaning, yet may not be wholly understood. For it is ever here a little and there a little, line upon line, precept upon precept, that builds the soul of an entity towards its desire of expression in the Infinite - God.
16. (Q) Will I experience any further discomfort with kidney stones? [See 416-16 on 2/2/42.] (A) This will depend upon the diet and activity of the body. These may be approached best by physical examinations, rather than soul.
17. (Q) Should I change my glasses, and when? (A) This, too, is of the body-material. Just a moment - we will look it up. In interpreting body-forces for this body, there has been a tendency for an incoordination between liver and kidneys, as we have indicated for the body.

Thus, leave out of the diet those things that tend to slow the activity of this coordination, but rather increase the vital energies that make for, in the assimilations, better coordination. Then, DO NOT take ANY carbonated drinks - of any nature. Coca-cola, or such, are well to clear kidneys, but make same with plain water. Do have those properties such as from rutabaga, turnips and artichoke in the diet some time during each week. These are combinations that will tend to purify such conditions. As to the strain on the eyes - this naturally is partially a sympathetic condition, from the stress upon the glands and the area just above the kidneys; that at times makes the body conscious - either by drafts, getting overheated or the like - that there is the dull or sharp pain across this area. The next day the body will find the eyes seemed to be dimmed, or blurred. This does not necessarily indicate the need for the change of glasses, but DO take regularly the head and neck exercise; not spasmodically, but regularly. When the body finds itself active outside, these are bettered. When the body works over a desk, these become aggravations. Hence, head and neck exercise - regularly taken - will tend to clarify these conditions; especially if the diet is adhered to, and the suggestions as to drink. Drink plenty of water at all times; six to eight glasses each day.
18. (Q) What would you advise at this time regarding marriage? [See 416-15, Par. 29-A, 30-A.] (A) This is a period of activity that would not be well to mix with those conditions in this direction, just now. In the next twelve months, yes.
19. (Q) Have I already met and do I know an entity with whom marriage would be advisable, considering the best mental and spiritual development of both? (A) This had best be a choice within self. As we find, yes. But, unless there is that feeling, mentally and spiritually, that there can be a fifty-fifty cooperation, and you think along the same lines, be careful!
