Time of Reading 3:30 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Va.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [416], present in this room, who seeks information, advice and guidance as to his health, his life and work. You will answer the questions he submits, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [416]; this we have had before.

3. There have been changes in the ideals or ideas of the entity since last we had same here. Some are good, some are indifferent, some are not so good, but ready for questions.

4. (Q) Give cause and treatment for trouble with ears? (A) These arise from a catarrhal condition in head and as a tendency towards prolapsus of the Eustachian tubes. Finger surgery would be the most helpful influence for the disturbance at the present time. Such treatments are the best given by Richardson, Norfolk, Va.

5. (Q) Skin eruptions on back and arms? Cause and treatment. (A) Warnings have been indicated to the body of diets, especially as related to carbonated waters and hard drinks and hops in drinks. Eliminate these, this will disappear.

6. (Q) Is the moderate use of alcohol injurious to this body and what is moderate for this body? (A) Occasionally if you took a drink - once a year, it wouldn't be too bad - but wouldn't be too good either. Not that one becomes a total abstainer, but when in Rome, do as the Romans, but needn't get drunk over it, nor become so that ye seek too much of those things. Light wines will do very well, the rest you'd better cut out, not good for this body.

7. (Q) Give treatment for hemorrhoids. (A) Cut out much of these activities and then take the regular exercise of a morning when first arising, and at night just before you lie down. Do this twice in the morning and twice at night; these will soon disappear. When ready to retire, gradually rise on the toes and raise the hands at the same time till on the toes and then attempt to

416-18 Page 2

touch the floor - you'll be a long ways from it - but go in that direction. Do this before the clothing is put on of morning and night before retiring. This will not require very long. The use of Tim when there is protruding will soon eliminate those disturbances and this, with the exercise and then the precautions, will soon eradicate the conditions altogether.

8. (Q) What is particularly wrong with my diet? (A) The tendencies for too much starches, pastries, white bread should be almost entirely eliminated. Not that you shouldn't eat ice cream, but don't eat cake too. White potatoes, such as macaroni or the like and cheeses, these eliminate. They are not very good for the body in any form.

9. (Q) Would I make any changes in my present work, if so when and through whom? (A) As has been indicated, there should be those tendencies towards expansions that must eventually, and will, be a part of the great changes which will come with the next two to three years when the present disturbances are more in accord, but there will come first some serious disturbances, not necessarily with this body, but in the general conditions. These still haven't gotten away from Baltimore, and you needn't get away from Norfolk or Virginia Beach, for any town that has any name will eventually be on an airline and when they're off it's as bad as being off the railroad, (in another ten to twenty years).

10. (Q) Would it be best to keep my interest in Standard Oil Station and what is outlook for same? (A) The outlook for same is very good. We wouldn't change in the present. There may come the opportunity within the next - say by November - to very well dispose of the interest.

11. (Q) Am considering an interest in variety stores after the war in Tidewater Area. What are prospects and when should it get started? (A) It should get started within at least six months after the war so you can begin about next March. These, as we find, offer good prospects but depending, of course, upon who are to be the policy makers for such variety stores; but this as we find, while it may be changed once or twice, is a good investment.

12. (Q) Tell me something of the Real Estate possibilities at Virginia Beach after the war and indications concerning growth of the Beach. (A) For at least three to four years it will be. It has

416-18 Page 3

advanced in the last year at least twenty to thirty percent and there will be that much more in the next three years. The Beach will continue to grow.

13. (Q) Would you advise I purchase southeast corner lot 31st and Pacific Avenue for use as filling station after the war? (A) We wouldn't advise such. This is not a very good place. It is a very good place for some things but not for a filling station, unless you want to deal in too many questionable things.

14. (Q) What are indications as to time hostilities will cease? (A) This depends upon many factors. As in the present, it appears sometime in September or such.

15. (Q) When and where will I next incarnate and will I be associated with associates of this incarnation and whom? (A) Better get into shape so that you can incarnate. That depends a great deal upon what one does about the present opportunities. It isn't set for time immemorial as to be what you will be from one experience to the other. For, as has been given, there are unchangeable laws. The Creator intended man to be a companion with Him. Whether in heaven or in the earth or in whatever consciousness, a companion with the Creator. How many will it require for thee to be able to be a companion with the Creative Forces wherever you are? That is also a law. What ye sow, ye reap. What is, then, that which is making for the closer association of body, mind, and soul to Father, Son and Holy Spirit? Just as has been indicated in thy physical being - there are those tendencies for auditory disturbances. Ye have heard. Have ye heeded? In those, then, to be the applications, what becomes disturbing? He that heeds not, then, has rejected, and there is the need for remembering the unchangeable law: "Though He were the Son, yet learned He obedience through the things which He suffered." Shall thou be greater than thy Lord? Where will these occur? Where do you make them? The place where you art, is the place to begin. What were the admonitions? "Use that thou hast in hand. Today, will ye [if ye will] hear His voice, harden not thy heart."

16. (Q) What would be my possibilities with an air line now and after the war and with whom? (A) These would be very well, the American Airway. Commence from Baltimore.

17. (Q) Through what individual firm or company? (A) Baltimore representative of the American Airways. You'll find him in the American Blue book.

18. (Q) Taking everything into consideration which of the

416-18 Page 4

girls I know would make me the better wife? [See 416-17, Par. 18-A, 19-A on 11/5/42.] (A) This must be termed within self. There are, to be sure, many opportunities, many possibilities in the associations but what is thy ideal of a home, a companion, and for what? These are all to be taken into consideration by self. What is the admonition from thy ideal? Gratifying of self, of position, of place, or of using same as opportunities in the relationships one with another in all of thy associations, or a combination of these? As to which one, let thy heart tell thee. Let thy body, thy mind, thy soul. For with each of these, you won't get rid of the one because you marry the other! Don't think you will! For ye have an opportunity with the three [[1639], [288], [845]?]. Use it. Don't abuse it! But let thy heart, thy soul tell thee.

19. (Q) Any other advice? (A) Thou knowest the way and the truth and the light. Keep it! For though at times the way may be lonely and long, know He hath need of thee, else ye would not be in the physical consciousness or aware of His thought of thee. For life itself is the manifestation of that force, that power, ye call God. God is mindful of thee. Art thou mindful of Him?
