Time of Reading 4:40 to 5:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [423].

2. Now, as we find, while many of the physical forces of the body are very good, there are conditions which if corrected in the present would not only make for a better physical reaction but would prevent distresses and disorders that must eventually arise, if the conditions that are impulses and pressures are allowed to continue in the present way and manner.

3. These, as we find, have to do with specific conditions and the result of conditions that have existed in former times in the better physical functioning and that have not been entirely eliminated, and with the distress produced in some cause disorders in the eliminating system.

4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [423] we are speaking of, present in this room:

5. We find the BLOOD SUPPLY very good in its quantity; at times the quality as related to the activities in the divisions of the blood supply is not always correctly or well balanced.

6. Hence the metabolism of the system shows a variation. Not that there is any disturbance organically of the heart's action, but sympathetically; and through the specific conditions becomes organic at times.

7. Naturally, with disturbances in proper balance of eliminations, there is the effect in the blood supply of the accumulations that should be eliminated through some of the channels that are hindered in coordinating perfectly.

8. In the NERVE SYSTEM we find some of the specific causes that have been produced by conditions that formerly existed in the system, as affecting directly the nervous system. And with accumulations, with disorders, there have been made engorgements and subluxations in portions of the cerebrospinal

423-1 Page 2

system, especially in the upper dorsal and cervical area; and affect directly - and indirectly at other times - the activity of the circulation through portions of the sensory organism.

9. The irritation also exists in the bronchi and larynx that is an effect of this unbalancing in the nerve supply along those portions of the system that supply the circulatory activity to the lymph or emunctory reaction and the regular internal and sympathetic circulation.

10. These subluxations are existent in the 3rd and 4th dorsal centers, and there is an out-of-alignment in the 3rd and 4th cervical centers. The engorgement exists in the ganglia or plexus in the 3rd and 4th dorsal area. This makes for the irritation and lack of eliminations through the proper channel as related to the sensory system, or the nervous system to the head, neck, and disturbed auditory forces - which is indicated, as well as making for disturbances that - unless corrected - will become more and more active in the reactions through the sensory system, or the hearing and the activity of proper discerning of odors; for at times the body is supersensitive now to certain odors, at others these are not apparent in the activity in discerning same.

11. As to the ORGANS of the body themselves:

12. Brain forces are very good. These are active as related to responses more in the central nervous system than the imaginative or activity of the sympathetic nervous system; although this does not indicate that the body or the activity of the system is as hard-hearted or not sensitive to the ordinary reactions. But, in the general relations, these are shown in the pressures and disturbances that exist in the cerebrospinal plexus, that prevent all portions of the brain centers responding to impulses from without.

13. Throat, bronchi, larynx, show irritation from activities of the lymph circulation being disturbed by unbalanced condition in the system at the present time; though the pulsation in the present would be found to be near normal - seventy-two.

14. While activities in the bronchi and larynx are purely sympathetic in the present, there must continue to be irritation to the muco-membranes and the activities in the soft tissue of face and throat unless pressures are removed in areas as indicated.

15. In the lungs the circulation is very good, and little indication of disturbances there at present ever causing any disorder - unless there is continued disturbance in the lymph and the circulations that are hindered by impulse,

423-1 Page 3

rather than by the flow of circulation itself.

16. Heart's action sympathetically, as indicated, is disturbed.

17. The digestive area shows that too much of the hypogastric juices are being present in the stomach proper, though there is fair digestion, though the pressures in the upper sympathetic cardiac area as indicated make a tendency for the liver or cold hepatic circulation to be disturbed. Hence improper eliminations of all poisons, and the disturbance in the equilibrium of the whole eliminating circulation.

18. Those areas of the lower hepatic circulation, or through the kidneys, show a sympathetic but not organic disturbance.

19. Then, in meeting the needs of the general conditions of the body in the present, as we find, to apply the treatments in the normal manner as we suggest will make for such corrections as to not only eliminate the disturbing factors in the present but hinder reactions that would become more detrimental if they are allowed to continue. For, ANY of many varied disturbances may arise from such disorders in the system, though they are not apparent in the present save in the areas as indicated.

20. So, we would give this outline:

21. First we would begin with corrective deep manipulations, either chiropractic or osteopathic adjustments, for the area indicated; specifically though, to be sure, with the general treatments that should be given every other treatment. These would include coordinating the activity of the lower digestive area, the kidneys, and those areas in the diaphragm where there has been some disturbance.

22. In making the applications we would also add the ultra-violet ray with the treatments, that not only the absorption in the superficial circulation may be better coordinated but that there may be the reaction to the structural portions of the body for the creating of a better division between the lymph, the white blood and the red blood with the leucocytes of the system, that better resistance may be builded; thus correcting the disorders in the body.

23. Also in one of the treatments each week we would have the application of a massage to the Eustachian tubes area, that there may be the breaking up of that tendency for the falling of same; as well as the LIFTING of the colon, when general treatments are given.

24. The manipulations we would give twice a week, one being for the adjustments and the other the general treatment, for thirteen to fourteen such treatments.

25. The ultra-violet should be given at least once each week, for four to six treatments.

26. Then we will find a better reaction for this body, [423].

27. Ready for questions.

28. (Q) What osteopathic doctor in New York would you recommend to give the treatments? (A) Daly.

29. (Q) Is there any treatment recommended for the eyes? (A) With the correction of disturbances in the dorsal and cervical area, as indicated, the pressure will be relieved on the sensory system and we will find that the eyes will be very, very much improved. For, these conditions will be corrected with the changing of the impulses in circulation in the area given; for they affect all portions of the sensory system. No specific treatment, other than the general treatments outlined.

30. (Q) Is there any evidence in this body of a treatment received in a seance on Thursday? (A) This treatment indicated to the superficial circulation a decided activity, but as for the BASIC conditions a more material or physical application - as WE find - would be MORE effective in creating the association of the whole organisms in the body. There is the indication, yes.

31. (Q) Would you suggest any other osteopath besides Daly? (A) ANYONE that would be in sympathy with those things given, and that will apply them. For these, as we find, are specific conditions in a physical body, see; and their correction is - as we have indicated - a matter of routine, if it is properly done. These subluxations and these disturbances may be located by any competent osteopath.

32. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " File (Look up Dr. D. J. Daly, 1261 Madison Ave., N.Y. City; he may be the one referred to; I'm sure he is, if he is an osteopath. GD.)
