R E A D I N G
Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. N.Y.C. (Body and enquiring mind in regard to proposed trip he has planned to Rome. Please advise what day he will be able to get off safely, answering the questions he has submitted as I ask them.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [425], and those conditions respecting the proposed trip.
2. As we find, from the varying conditions that exist in the present, and the varying changes that will affect the atmospheric pressure and the atmosphere itself, this should - from this angle - be correct by Wednesday (this week, yes).
3. As to whether changes will arise to alter these, to be sure, depends upon the pressure in those areas that lie both to the south and to the north and west.
4. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) Is the plane safe as it stands today, located at Floyd Bennett Airport, Brooklyn, Hangar 4 (Leonardo da Vinci)? (A) As we find, this is quite safe. We would, however, make some close inspection as to the extra containers for fuel that are considered in same. [See 425-1 Reports.]
6. (Q) Have we sufficient instruments to insure safety; if not, what should be added? (A) We would not add. These, as we find, are very, very good.
7. (Q) Please examine our radio. What improvement or corrections? (A) No corrections.
8. (Q) Should I carry a radio transmitter either now or on the return flight? (A) Will there be a return flight [If there will be a return flight] in the use of the plane, then we would carry the transmitter.
9. (Q) Who will go on the trip with me to Rome?
425-1 Page 2
(A) These, as we find from the first of the mental conditions from which we are examining these, have already been construed or arranged. [GD's note: We later learned it was Lt. Cesare Sabelli.]
10. (Q) Is this the best choice for me? (A) All things considered, well.
11. (Q) What warnings can we receive from the Forces to protect us on this trip? (A) In considering that which might be given from the spiritual approach for such an undertaking, when all the influences and advancements are of the nature as to make for the insuring of safety as much as possible, then the only conditions that are to be met are that the ones who make the undertaking put their whole trust, strength, mentally and spiritually, in those influences that are ever able to meet every emergency in the experience of those that seek to do His biddings. Hence the approach as to warnings respecting the elements themselves would be, when all precautions are taken - and all the influences that might hinder or even make afraid are considered, these become as nothing. To be sure, those elements that have to do with the influences that make for the breaking up of the activities of the struts and guides, that enable the operator to lower or raise the altitudes, are the greater danger. Not only the icing, but that hindering the activity of those actions. These would be the only warnings. Then, knowing that all is met, use every influence in self to meet the conditions; though we do not find more than one period of emergency will exist, and this can be easily met by taking the precautions in that particular direction.
12. (Q) Is there any new formula or development that we can use to prevent formation of ice on the wings? (A) This, as we have given, will not be the greater danger, as we find. We would only glycerinize the edge that raises and lowers the plane.
13. (Q) What is the significance of this flight in reference to the new Aquarian era? (A) If it were considered from this angle, it would be delayed until the 7th of November. But, considering the name of the plane, the name of the man, and the conditions, we would say the 1st.
14. (Q) What world benefits will be derived by this trip?
425-1 Page 3
(A) As with every effort in such undertakings. The logs that are kept, or the observations at the period, and the like, make for that which is helpful to the next undertaking. Hence will add to the general information, and specific conditions as related to some precautions and some instruments that are being used in this particular connection; as well as in relation to the feasibility and plausibility of beginning the regular or periodical course.
15. (Q) What especially interesting data should we look for while enroute, and what altitude should we fly at over the Atlantic and over France? (A) The altitudes or altitude over the Atlantic will of necessity vary somewhat, but where the visibility will be the better - as we find - will be at a thousand feet, in the main. While, over France - this really should be higher.
16. (Q) What previous incarnations are now affecting my life, if any, especially as to aviation and this trip? (A) These may be better obtained from that which may be reached from the birth and its associations. We will find it here. In those periods when that entity for which the plane is named experimented with such conditions (for he was among the first) [Leonardo da Vinci], the entity aided in those experiments; and the association makes for the feeling and the intuitive influence of establishing a connection or association with the environs of that day.
17. (Q) Will this trip be augmented with a return trip? (A) As we find, and as has been seen, this is a question. Not that there will be any question of the safety in the going, but the CONDITIONS in returning unless some period has elapsed.
18. (Q) What specific data should be collected for the benefit of future air transport routes or commercial air lines? (A) As there has already been some questioning from some reports as to the feasibility of establishing a commercial air route from the start to other portions of the continent, it will then make for particular interest in that there may be seen that the route chosen will not be so much questioned - by the actuality. Hence all conditions as to the changes in the varied conditions enroute, as well as the change in pressures that will be experienced at the particular season, will be of the most and greater interest.
19. We are through for the present.
