1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [428] present in this room. You will give a physical, mental and spiritual reading for this body, with suggestions and advice for the perfection of all of these, and you will answer the questions which we will ask regarding them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, Mrs. [428], present in this room.
3. In the physical forces of the body, we find conditions as which cause disorders and distresses at times. The conditions, as we find them, are rather of that as may be termed the SUBTLE nature, and the effects of the disturbance are often mistaken for causes, in the various manners in which their activities are exhibited, producing this.
4. The conditions, as we find, have most to do with the eliminations of the system and their relation to various functioning organs and their ACTIVITIES as related to the general physical organism.
5. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, Mrs. [428], we are speaking of, present in this room:
6. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find indications of the disturbance as related to eliminations. Especially is this exhibited in the characterization of disturbance through the alimentary canal, as well as that character of blood as may be seen in the various portions of system, after their activity through the organs, as the liver and spleen, especially; so that the reactions as should take place in the various portions of system, in the cleansing of the blood supply, whether as related to the internal organs themselves or whether as related to the pulmonaries and heart's action, these are indicated by that UNCHANGING as occurs at times.
7. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find many conditions show that portions of the system are, as it were, impoverished by this disturbance in the circulation, as well as by GENERAL
428-1 Page 2
conditions existent in the system, in various plexuses in the body; notably, those of the 9th dorsal area, where at times there is seen the feeling of a heaviness, and at times as if a line around the body; this as a REPRESSION in the circulation. Also we find, after such conditions, there is the tendency of a coldness along the shoulder area, with a little headache; not so MUCH, except at times. These are indications, not causes - but the result of the effluvia itself, through the intestinal system, produced by this disturbance in eliminations and formations of toxics in the system that affect the nerve supply, as well as the blood supply.
8. IN THE FUNCTIONING ORGANS THEMSELVES, while we find brain forces are very good, organs of the sensory system at times appear to be under rather that of a suppression, or repression; not as active, not as keen in the hearing, not as keen in vision and in speech, and in the ability to coordinate through the impressions as are received, as would be desired. These are the results of the pressures produced by the conditions existent in the eliminating system, THROUGH the ACTIVITIES of the SYMPATHETIC system as related to the coordinating of the cerebrospinal reflexes through this portion of body.
9. In the rest of the system, we find very GOOD in many respects; yet many of the organs showing these repressions, especially as has been given respecting the alimentary canal and the colon, and the effect produced on the hepatic circulation.
10. In meeting the needs, as we would find, of the conditions of this system in the present, this we would prepare first and make for a basic activity upon the system, that there may be applied other conditions for the body as the corrections are being made. These, and the whole quantity or amount of the properties we would take. Then we would give other conditions as may be added for a change as respecting the physical forces.
11. We would prepare, then, as this - this as the carrier, first:
12. To 16 ounces of distilled water, add 3 ounces of wild cherry bark. Reduce this by slow boiling to 1/2 the quantity. Strain while warm and add 2 ounces of SIMPLE syrup - not the compound, but SIMPLE syrup. Then reduce to 6 ounces by slow boiling. Then we would add, when cool: Compound Syrup of Sarsaparilla.........1/2 ounce, Tincture of Stillingia.................1/4 ounce, Syrup of Rhubarb.......................1/4 ounce,
428-1 Page 3
Elixir Calisaya........................1/4 ounce, Oil of Sassafras........................20 minims, Tincture of Capsici......................2 minims. Shake the solution well together before the dose is taken. Take a teaspoonful in water, or plain, 3 times each day. PREFERABLY take this BEFORE the meals, and EAT the meals, but don't eat too much.
13. In the matter of diet, be mindful that more of the laxatives - that are tended to keep a well balance between acids and alkalins - are as food values; that is, plenty of whole grains rolled, as gruel, or of those of the breakfast foods - preferably those that are not over heated for their preparation, but rather those that make for usage of the salivary system for their DIGESTIVE activity in system. Also we would find that the green vegetables should consist, or be the portion of the diet through the noon or lunch hours. In the evenings, these may be of the juices of meat, but the irons, those of the nature that are the most blood building, carrying all of the vitamins of that necessary for the system, should be from the vegetable forces; as spinach, tomatos, salsify, carrots, cabbage, lentils, beans, radishes - these are well balanced, provided they are not prepared with too much grease; for these will make for bad activities in this system, especially with the assimilating system, if not prepared properly.
14. We would also occasionally, once or twice each week, have those manipulations as will produce for the proper coordinations in the system. This we would do:
15. In the conditions as related to the mental forces of the body - the Mental, as has been experienced and is known by the body, is the Builder. As the mental is guided, as the mental is trained, the spiritual forces of self - as are innate and expressive in their activity in the system - will lead in the way and manner that is necessary for the better development of the body, unless suppressed through self's own gratification of desires of the physical, or of the carnal forces in the body. Keep in accord with that that IS known. ACT in the manner that is in keeping with that as is claimed as beliefs, faiths, tenets of the body, and more is added as is necessary for the proper development of body.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) What can be done to improve hearing? (A) Do as has been given!
18. (Q) Are glasses fitted properly? If not, what changes should be made? (A) When there are changes in the physical functioning of
428-1 Page 4
the body, this will be found necessary for changes in the lens for the vision.
19. (Q) What causes the body to cry so easily - in church, at ceremonies, joy, gratitude, beauty, any slight emotional provocation? Can anything be done to control this? (A) Over sensitiveness of the entity as related to those of the imaginative forces within the body itself. These, while may appear to be over effeminate, and to be over active - these, rather than being suppressed should be rather made proud of, that the abilities are to give expression of that felt. While OTHERS may not feel in the manner as is expressed by self, be true to self! and express it in the way and manner as is EXPRESSIVE TO self. As corrections are made as related to the sensory system, as has been outlined, and that of the cerebrospinal, we will find these may be controlled, suppressed, or made over active, according to the dictates of the mental forces of the body itself.
20. (Q) What causes irregular menstruation? Is this due to change of life, or what? (A) The period of menopause is NOT so far distant with the body. The irregularity in the present, however, is produced more from weakness as from the improper eliminations in system, and the system attempting to adjust itself throws off through the various channels of eliminating poisons from the system. The taking of the properties as have been given will be found to be VERY beneficial in this direction, as will the manipulations for the coordinations of the nerve activities or nerve repressions throughout the system.
21. (Q) Is the realization and maintenance of her dream house in accordance with Divine Plans? (A) These may be made so, and will work in a way and manner as to be made most active, most beneficial to self and those whom the body-mental, body-physical, may aid most.
