1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [428] - this we have had before. In many ways we find the general physical forces show improvement from that as when we last had same. While much has been produced by sheer will and the surrounding conditions, there are better pathological conditions also.
2. In meeting the needs of the conditions in the present, in supplying those necessary elements for the replenishing of the system and for the keeping of those conditions in system on the general build, we will find there will be the necessity that there be kept an equal balance in the elements that make for the better conditions of assimilation, that the blood supply may be builded, that coagulation may be kept in a normal tendency, and that the general conditions in replenishing of energy in the muscular forces, in the nerve forces in the whole system, be kept in an equal balance.
3. This will be found by taking those precautions that are necessary, under the strain and the energy that is being used and that has been used up in system from time to time, and by adding - as given - those conditions that will make for a resuscitation of all general conditions in the body.
4. It would be well for the body to be where it could be in the open air a great deal, especially during those portions of the season when the weather is such that it makes for humidity, and the activity of the respiratory system in such a manner as to sap strength and vitality, that there may be added as much of the vitamins in the system as possible that make for structural portions, sinew and strength in the muscular and nerve forces in system. Should this be found impractical, much of these elements may be added by (or even WITH same would be found helpful) White's Cod Liver Oil tablets, that are to create better assimilations and give to the gastric forces of the digestive system those incentives and elements that will make for sustaining and resuscitating

forces in that assimilated. These we would take, one to two tablets after each meal.
5. We would be mindful that the diet is builded much on these grounds, though - to be sure - altered occasionally to meet the needs and demands of the physical conditions, as they change in the assimilating and eliminating system:
6. Mornings - fresh fruit or cereal. When fresh fruit and cereal are taken, do not take citrous fruits. When they are not taken, then take the citrous fruits, followed with rice cakes, corn or bran muffins with butter, coffee or a cereal drink. Occasionally add a coddled egg - and the yolk is preferable to the white with same.
7. In the middle of the morning - nine-thirty or ten o'clock - there should be taken those of the malt with egg, or dry milk with egg. Here the yolk or the whole egg may be whipped or stirred in same. Also there may be added a few drops - not more than ten to fifteen - of spirits frumenti, which will prevent the flat taste, as well as make for better digestion. It will make the drink more palatable, more strengthening, and will give better tone to the general system.
8. Noons - green vegetables in a salad, with oil dressing or mayonnaise (provided it is hand-made with the vegetable oils).
9. Evenings - or in the afternoons - it would be well that fruit juices be taken, chilled, or the bacilli milk that makes for the proper fermentation and activity through the intestinal system - as the Bulgarian. These may be altered, or one taken for a few days and then the other for a few days. This in the middle of the afternoon.
10. Evenings - preferably meat juices, or beef juice as an appetizer, with - two or three evenings each week - liver (calves' liver, not fried - but broiled in butter - not too rare, but such that the activities of same are for the replenishing of the blood supply in system), pig knuckle, and well cooked vegetables alternated. Do not stuff nor over eat, but eat - at all meals, slowly - all that may be well taken.
11. We would keep the inhalant that is the antiseptic for the throat and the muco-membranes of throat and nasal cavities. For this particular period, we would prepare same in this manner:
12. To 4 ounces of pure grain alcohol, in an 8 ounce glass corked container, add in this rotation: Oil of Eucalyptol.............30 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp..........5 minims,
428-7 Page 3
Rectified Creosote.............8 minims, Canadian Balsam................5 minims, Benzoin.......................10 minims, Tolu in solution..............24 minims.
13. When this is inhaled (which may be taken many times during the day, or in the evening as the body rests), shake solution together and inhale deep into the lungs through the mouth, also inhale through each side of nostril.
14. Be mindful of damp night air. Keep feet dry. Keep in the open as much as possible. Keep the hands and the mind busy.
15. Do this, and we will find we will keep a building up of the general physical forces and make for resistances in the body.
16. Ready for questions.
17. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Cayce file " " Ass'n file
