Time of Reading 11:40 to 12:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Body and enquiring mind. If it is to the better advantage of her development, and also the channel through which this information comes, you will answer the questions which she has submitted concerning her health, her mental and spiritual development, and the diamond brooch which she is attempting to locate.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [428], this we have had before.
2. In the general physical forces of the body we find that these have been slowly on the improve since last we had same here. There are still those tendencies for the accumulation of gas and the activity in affected portions in the organs of digestion and elimination.
3. If there is the proper stimulation to the liver and the intestinal eliminations, with the following of the diet and the applications when necessary that have been given for the system, as we find, there will be brought the better reactions towards bringing about nearer normalcy for the body.
4. The eliminations, and the digestive area, including the liver and the stomach proper, still make for those disorders - the tendencies for accumulations and the overflow of these occasionally.
5. We find in the present that it would be of material aid to cleanse or wash out the colon, but always leave in same some portions of the antiseptic activity that will not produce greater tendencies for the accumulation of gas after cleansing, nor re-infection by some irritation that would be caused by same. We would prepare such enemas in this way and manner:
6. In the first quart and a half of tepid water we would put a half teaspoonful of salt and a level teaspoonful of baking soda. See that same is stirred until thoroughly dissolved.
7. The evacuations and cleansing (not in too great a strain)
428-9 Page 2
should preferably be given with the body on hands and knees, or elbows and knees.
8. Then, in the last quart put a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline and a tablespoonful of agar and oil (the Petrolagar - alkalin, of course - the alkalin type). Keep these stirred as the water is being injected into the colon, see? Then there will be sufficient sediment from the agar and there will be not too great a strain from the antiseptic in the Glyco-Thymoline.
9. Whenever there is the accumulation of the gases, such enemas will ease same - see? These may be given every day for several days, and then skip until there is the feeling of the fullness. The body may be weakened with the first use of such. Afterwards there will be rather the stimulating effect, than taking the vitality of the body.
10. Ready for questions.
11. (Q) Are we making any error as regards the treatment for the cure of the gas condition? [Of almost 20 yrs. standing - hard to improve.] (A) We would add the enemas, and follow the rest as specifically outlined. We would continue the use of the beef juices. Do not use ANY fat when making same. These have been allowed SOMEWHAT to creep in, and do not try to keep too long. Take SMALL quantities often.
12. (Q) Should the adjustments be made differently? (A) We haven't altered or changed. Make the adjustments so there will be stimulations for liver activity. Not too severe, nor all the alignment made at one treatment.
13. (Q) How much longer should adjustments be given? (A) For three weeks.
14. (Q) How much longer should all other remedies be continued? (A) Three weeks.
15. (Q) Is it well to approach Dr. Pagenstecher [prominent physician in Mexico City] in the manner I have planned? [He is interested in psychic phenomena - should know about you.] (A) Be very good.
16. (Q) In the English or German language? [He is well known in Germany.] (A) German.
17. (Q) Astrologically, is any time alright or would a specific time be better? (A) Any time when the proper association or connections or introductions may be had.
18. (Q) Please make any suggestions that would be best in presenting same? (A) In the manner that has been so often visualized or carried out in the mental body.

19. (Q) Is the diamond brooch, crescent shaped, in my home at ... Street? If so, where? (A) In giving information respecting such experiences and such conditions in the life of anyone, it would be well that some experience be had in the mental mind of one respecting conditions in the experience of every soul through its development. To be sure, as given, had there been known when or how a thief would break through and steal, or the house broken up, the body or bodies would have watched to prevent same. But that such experiences come in the life of every soul may be expected. And they come for a purpose. While it may seem to the body that the loss means only detrimental conditions, and that in the environs and the surroundings there are those that are prone to break the moral and the penal laws of society, of the State, of God, and that there is the hovering about the body of the lower forces or influences; yet there may be given - not as platitudes, but rather - those things that are to be comprehended, not just accepted, but taken and analyzed in the experience of self - or every soul - that nothing material or otherwise may be taken from a body that it really belongs to, IF the body, mind and soul WHOLLY belongs to the Creator's service. It has been said, "He that steals my purse steals trash, but he that would steal my name is to be dreaded." This is an experience that should teach every soul the greater lessons; that there are in the thought, in the materiality, in the conscience, FEELINGS that have not been cleansed for the more perfect knowledge concerning Creative Forces. Then, considered from this angle, lessons are not ONLY to be gained by the individual or soul who may experience such losses in a material life, but also lessons are to be gained by those who - for the moment - may appear to profit by such conditions. Hence we find there has been in the employ and association of the body one who has overstepped moral law, and all things pertaining to that which would appear to be for the good of any, and has REMOVED from the immediate surroundings not only the brooch but coverings, clothing, and many minor things. That these have been in the greater part disposed of or used in the means of supplying to the needs of others is true. Then, what should be the attitude of the body under the circumstances? How may same be gained, or is it proper and
428-9 Page 4
right that this brooch and other articles may come again into the life or experience of the body? Approach the one through whom the loss has been sustained, in a ladylike - in a Christian - attitude, and talk with the body respecting what has happened, in a manner as the Master did as He faced those who had accused one of being morally, mentally, physically, unfit for the associations of others. Not in condemning, not condoning either - even as He did not condone, but rather said, "As others have naught against thee, neither have I, but DO NOT sin again. Rather let that love of the follow man that sustains life in any and every manifested way and manner be in thee, and do ye unto others as ye would have others do unto you. Ye in your weakness and in your manner of action have indicated a grudge, and an attempt to gain rather the control of situations than meeting them fairly and squarely." In such a way and manner should the body approach that individual, and we will find that - if this is conducted in such a manner as He would have it be done - there may be learned not only the whereabouts, but the manner and the way that it may again supply that as it has through its associations. And SELF will be raised, as well as the attitude, the manner and the life of that individual!
