Time of Reading 10:30 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Brooklyn, N.Y. (Body & enquiring mind, who seeks information, advice & guidance as to her mental and material well-being. Questions.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind of [433]; this we have had before.
2. In the physical forces of the body some better precautions should be taken respecting the activities in the digestive system, where there are tendencies for the formation of lacerations or conditions that are conducive to a too great amount of hydrochloric reaction in the lacteal ducts, and the creation of the lacteals in the system. And these, unless precautions, must eventually give some distress.
3. Be more mindful that there is kept the reactions to a better alkalinity in the system, and - as we find - the use of an alternation in these properties taken would be most beneficial for this condition, as well as being mindful in the diet:
4. One day take a teaspoonful in half a glass of water of Milk of Magnesia.
5. The next day take a teaspoonful Milk of Bismuth.
6. The next day, or skip one day and then take an Alophen pellet.
7. Then begin the next and keep this for three to five courses. Then rest a period, and - as we find - these will absorb much of those tendencies for irritating influences in the digestive area throughout, and make for better eliminations that would be more helpful to the body.
8. Ready for questions, respecting mental and material conditions.
9. (Q) What shall I do to get along? (A) This, to be sure, would involve many conditions that exist in the experience of the body in the present. There are associations that are to be made aware of the existent

conditions. To be sure, this would present at the present state of mental activity, or cause, some feeling in self as of doing that which is not desired; yet, it should be felt and known that these should be made acquainted with much of the reactions or situations. And through these channels would come some aid. Then those connections that are of the more material, as we find, soon will be in the position where there may be expected some return from the investments that there may be moneys even obtained on these. Then the associations where the material and the affairs as related to the closer associations should be brought to a conclusion in such a way and manner as to make for better conditions. Then, consider these in the light of the general situation. and make self in accord with the needs, and do not become so fearful or panicky as to the outcome of situations. For, oft does the individual find that the struggling, the fear, the condition created by the fear of the outcome, makes for conditions physical, conditions mental, that are very unsatisfactory, very discouraging. Yet, knowing that self is willing and can make the mental forces of self in accord with the better things in the spiritual life, and these will build for peace and harmony and joy in the experience.
10. (Q) Will I realize anything from my bond? (A) Just as given. These, as we find, will soon be released through Federal sources; or through the moneys that may be released to such holders.
11. (Q) Shall I sell my Baldwin Locomotive? If so, at what price? (A) If it becomes necessary, yes. Then, to be sure, this would have to be at the market price.
12. (Q) What shall I do with Peoria and Eastern? (A) These all in the present, as we find, will soon make for some gains such that it will not be even safe for speculation in these in the very near future; though some gains will be made, but these will be short-lived and hence great speculative forces.
13. (Q) Will I regain any of my losses? If so, from what source? (A) Not in the immediate future, as we find.
14. (Q) Will I ever realize anything from the property? (A) Provided the conditions and the activities are watched and made known by the body in its association with those that are commanding same at the present.
15. (Q) Who shall I turn to for help, and will I get any? (A) Best to turn within and think well on those things that
433-6 Page 3
have been given respecting the three sources through which help and aid may come to the body. And then go about in the activities, knowing that as long as self acts in the way in which the conscience will not - and does not - condemn that which comes, is best for the best interest.
16. (Q) Will Harry get his divorce? If so, when? (A) If pressed it will be given in the early portion of the coming month. If not, it will be dragged until the latter portion of the spring.
17. (Q) If so, shall I marry him? (A) We would advise it would be better.
18. (Q) If so, will we be happy? (A) Happiness depends upon the state of mind, and is not of the making of one individual's activity alone, but a cooperative measure in the needs, the desires, the wishes, the associations, of those concerned. May be made so, yes.
19. (Q) Shall I seek new environments? (A) We would not advise same in the present.
20. (Q) What is my vocation? (A) As given for the body, there may be builded in self most any line of activity that is chosen by the body. But as a representative or agent of special interests would be the field of activity, would the body so choose. But if this advice given is to be taken rather seriously, such an activity would not be necessary in the present.
21. (Q) Am I doing right in living the way I do now? (A) That must be determined in self. No one should ever find fault with another, and when self analyses self's activities and self's associations, self's relation, if there is that which condemns - then best change. If there is that which condemns not, and is in keeping with the purposes and aims, WELL.
22. (Q) Any other advice that would be helpful to me at this time? (A) As we have pointed out, there are three definite ways that lie before the body, in which there may come aid or comfort from any or all. Hence the body should not allow self to become discouraged, or to become forlorn or lonely. For, knowing that self is making the right application of self's abilities should bring strength, aid and understanding.
