Time of Reading 11:20 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Body and enquiring mind, together with the information previously given him through this channel on aurascope, static eliminator, and his work on the construction of a recording machine. You will answer the questions which he asks regarding these.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [440], and the information that has been given through these channels on aurascope, eliminator, and other appliances and information of varied natures. All must be considered.

2. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) The invention of the static eliminator was given through the channel of Mr. [[317]'s writing] with the purpose of founding a new school by sale of same. Have we the right to believe that this invention will be a means of fulfilling that purpose? (A) A right to believe that the basis of that which is presented through the channel of [317] will make for the means for founding, sustaining, a school - of any proportions. For, as indicated through these channels respecting the purposes, the desires and the abilities, both from the spiritual and material standpoint, of [317] and associates (which should not be left out - [wife 267]), their desires and developments have been such that they MERIT much of that which may come to them through their efforts in many channels to be of a service to their fellow man. And he that would aid them in fulfilling that purpose whereunto they as individuals have been called, will bring for them and for himself the blessings not only of the GOOD that may be accomplished through such a channel but bring to many another individual the pleasures, joys, that may redown [redound?] to honor and glory to such an individual. As to the channels through which information may come for the perfecting of such an arrangement or such a machine (for it may be called such), as to eliminate static forces from

440-7 Page 2

the reception through radio activities, these channels are seeking ever to aid these individuals - and much has been promised them. And they that aid in such will bring to themselves and to others much in obligation, much in a duty, much in opportunity, much in liability, much in joy, much in knowing that they themselves become channels that are not only bringing to the individuals the opportunity for their own development but to selves also. So, seek and ye shall find. For, while there will be required much patience, much persistence in the perfecting of same, as WE find, it will come SUDDENLY - and surely.

4. (Q) What channels should be sought through [[317]'s writing] for this information? (A) How that the preparation of those properties that act as the agent for the elimination of this disturbing force, and through those channels that present themselves in the various activities of [317] IN receiving such. And let this be tested ever IN the name of the Master.

5. (Q) Should any names be asked for in seeking through this channel? (A) Rather the names that aid in supplying do so in the name of the Master.

6. (Q) Whom should we seek to help in experimenting with this eliminator? (A) There may be several channels chosen. As we would find, however, the better and more perfect connection, more reliable connection, may be made with the experimental stations or associations of the late Thomas A. Edison [Thomas Alva Edison - 1847-1931] - and you'll have some of his better self in same!

7. (Q) Name individual to be approached in this institution? (A) Through the regular channels would be the better way and manner. And trust and know if all the OTHER things or conditions are adhered to, the correct ones will be drawn to aid in this association and in this connection.

8. (Q) Should my associates in this connection be trusted with the full details of its origin? (A) They should.

9. (Q) Are there any patents now in existence which cover the theory of this invention, or that will prevent our patenting same? (A) None. In covering such patents for such eliminators, many ideas HAVE been presented. NONE that carry this feature. And this is a line that should not be left out of the application for patent: A means of eliminating the static BY and THROUGH CONTROL and evacuation or eviction

440-7 Page 3

(either word may be used) through the mechanical means. See? For, it is not only to be gathered together by the particles that must run (which will be verified by the information from [317] see?) rather as threads through the eradicator, or the form in which the elimination and destroying of the effect that is carried into the radio.

10. (Q) Should I approach this laboratory now or after March? (A) On April 6th or 10th. That's after March!

11. (Q) Whom should we seek to aid us patenting this invention? (A) There are many channels, to be sure, that are worthy. Those that have been the representatives of some of the associates in this research laboratory would be the better. But don't forget Snow!

12. (Q) Give his first name. (A) E. W. [E. W. Snow]

13. (Q) Give a list of scientific books for me to study during the coming year, especially within the next three months, relating to this subject? (A) First WE would suggest "This Mysterious World of Ours." [THE MYSTERIOUS UNIVERSE by Sir James Jeans?] Next we would take the electrical transmissions that have been prepared by those that are rather in manuscript form (which may be obtained through the associates of the body), connected with the Edison laboratory. Next we would take some GENERAL information of one or two different authors or writers on research in the field of radio, its causes of static and the means of transmission. Any one, or any author of repute. There are several in those that have been prepared by some of the associates of Steinmetz [Charles Proteus Steinmetz - 1865-1923]; some of those as of Steuer [GD's note: Pronounced STOR, like the famous lawyer in '20's, Max Steuer] some of the same nature, see?

14. (Q) Who is the author of the first book mentioned? [See 440-11, Par. 26-A saying S. L. Steuer.] (A) "This Mysterious World," or "This Mysterious Universe."

15. (Q) Or both? (A) "This Mysterious Universe." We don't find the name here.

16. (Q) How about the other book mentioned? (A) We have given two or three writers here in other forms, and some manuscripts that may be had, and "This Mysterious World," or "Mysterious Universe." We would also include among those one that would appear to have little or no bearing on the subject, but rather as a love story - read in these connections "The Romance of Two Worlds" by Corelli. [Marie Corelli - 1855-1924] It wouldn't be bad to include

440-7 Page 4

among these "She", [SHE by H. Rider Haggard] a weird thing - but we are dealing with the principles that you are studying; for all of these were also Atlanteans, and are anxious to express themselves, even as they did in their natural or earth life, again. Corelli is just becoming active. Wallace [Wallis] is just active also, and has had few connections - or very bad connections - as yet. [Lew Wallace - 1827-1905, author of BEN HUR, etc.?]

17. (Q) Write the patent document for filing in U.S. patent office so that there may be no infringements on this invention. (A) This has been given. So long as the paragraph given is not left out, you will not have what is termed a basic but the ELIMINATING of that gathered, see, THROUGH the connections and the eliminations. This will prevent any issuing of basic patents that would infringe upon the eliminator. The varietone and kindred appliances, where the reception coil or wire or lead or aerial has passed through, or does pass through different character of elements, or being short-circuited and then carried on into a lead which makes only a skip gap in its activity, they take FROM but they do not ELIMINATE from the reception wire or reception lead or aerial that which is gathered from or that comes in with, see? Hence this line as given. That only is necessary to prevent infringement.

18. (Q) Should we seek foreign patents? (A) Patent Applied For, in most foreign relations, would be better than paying out so much money for patents, except in Russia - you'll have to make some roundabout ways there.

19. (Q) To whom should we sell this invention, or would you follow another course? (A) In the present (as is seen, or will be seen upon investigation) there are practically only two sources through which the use of same may be given to the public, unless sold independently. The PREFERABLE way and manner would be to perfect same and then with the R.C. A. make the arrangements that there is a royalty (of a not too great amount) upon each eliminator installed in ANY of their machines.

20. (Q) What percentage would you suggest? (A) Twenty-five cents for each one, and that will mean nearly a million in each year.

21. (Q) Shall we try to patent aurascope? (A) There will be - Yes, we would wait until October and then the period in which there would be an infringement upon any will have passed, for it passes the 27th of August!

440-7 Page 5

Yes, we would patent it in the fall, after there has been the sufficient experimentation with same. For this in itself will lead (not in its first inception, but with some of the other associations or interests that the body will concur with and work out later) to real value to rather the professional people than to the laymen. Hence there will be the necessity of a great deal of experimentation before this may be presented in its finality. But don't go to your professional people first! MAKE the experimentation rather with the laymen, and then when it is ready for presentation go to two organizations at the same time. This doesn't mean on the same day, but during their regular meetings in that same year. The associations through the clinic of the homeopathic profession and the neuropathic profession. Not to the A.M.A.

22. (Q) Will Dr. Paul Cold [Dr. Paul E. Cold, N.D.] be of assistance in developing this instrument? (A) Dr. Cold is very good, but do not go to ANY of the PROFESSIONAL men in the experimentation - for you'd lose it!

23. (Q) Whom else shall I seek to help in experimenting with it? (A) Any that are rather in the field of PSYCHIC experimentation; for we are not dealing with anything that pertains to the field other than that which will in its final analysis be of aid to the profession - and the sad part of it, those who may turn it into a charlatan idea! Hence turn rather to those that are seekers along the lines of aid to their fellow man. In the experimentation, then, those who have ideas, yes - but rather those of the optometrist profession. They are in question, yes - but rather of that field, for they are those who may aid in just the experiments in the BUILDING or making of that which is of value through such fields. This may be and is questioned in self, why turn to these - which are out of the field! For they, as a profession, are IN the field - and they will ask you the fewer questions as to what you're going to do with it! They'll just make what you ask for!

24. (Q) Do you suggest any one in particular? (A) No, just choose a good one. German one would be better, or the descent of the Austrian or German - yes. Of course, let them only make your glasses. You don't have to tell them what you've got in mind, and they'll ask you little or few or no questions - because they already think they know all that's to be known and you don't know anything!

440-7 Page 6

25. (Q) Regarding the following questions on recording machine, can better information be given through this channel by locating the parts of same or basing the information from more complete concept as held in mind of entity? (A) By locating the parts, by having the parts present to be pointed out in the needs of changes, either in position or in the varied activities that are necessary for making for a more perfect recording, or more perfect activity of the recording and reproducing apparatus. Then, when this information is sought, we would have the greater part or all portions possible PRESENT - and point them out as with a pointer, and we'll get somewhere! We are through for the present.
