1. HLC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [440], present in this room, and his work on the etheronic instrument present in this room, with improvements suggested in previous information through this channel. You will answer the questions which he has submitted regarding his physical condition, and his work; considering also the work of Dr. Paul Cold, present in this room.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [440] present in this room; his body and the conditions, the instrument and those suggestions for the improvement, and the work of Dr. Paul Cold. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) Was my recent physical condition a crisis in my treatment? (A) As to the conditions that have been given, and as to the applications for corrections, that period when the better balance in the general physical forces as related to disturbing influences had been reached. This was to bring to the body the consciousness of the necessary elements in not creating a normalcy for self, but for that work that has been set before self as a factor in determining for individuals and for self as to the channel through which these emanations, these raisings of vibrations in active forces in the body, are necessary. For, to each there is given as they seek, as they show themselves in their activity as being in accord with what they have set as principles, as the ideals before them in relationships to Creative influences in the experiences of all, those steps and those experiences that better fit each individual for that path.
4. (Q) How much longer should I use the Radio-Active battery? (A) Whenever there is that tiredness, whenever there is that feeling of exhaustion and heaviness, create a balance by the use of those forces with the battery.
5. (Q) Considering the difficulties in obtaining ice in Arizona, should I make a special effort to continue these treatments?
440-13 Page 2
(A) With the activities that have been outlined for the body, as to the preparations of self, as to the conditions in the surrounding country, and as that is a portion of that necessary for the better development, if these are all carried out in unison, the condition should reach the position where they are not - or would not be necessary, see?
6. (Q) Regarding the aerial now on the instrument in this room, do you find the changes have been for the better? Any further suggestions on this? (A) The aerial itself is for the better, as we find. For, as given, these will enable not only the activities to become more of a centralized but in the manner as directed in the application of the etheronic influences, more specific in their application.
7. (Q) Are the points too far apart? (A) No.
8. (Q) Regarding the condenser under - to be placed under the aerial being constructed in the rear of the 43rd St. Radio Shop located on 44th St. & Lexington Ave., N.Y.C., it has seemed better to use silicon iron laminations rather than permalloy. Will this work satisfactorily? (A) While it changes it, of course, the induction of those influences to or through the instrument, as we find, it will work satisfactorily.
9. (Q) Are there any suggestions for building this up in regard to the thickness of the layers? (A) These have been indicated in that given. And, as has been laid out for construction, as we find, will work most satisfactorily.
10. (Q) Regarding the internal condensor, it so happens that those made of aluminum are of better electrical construction than those made of brass. Will these work as well? (A) These will work as well and better. For, as indicated, while aluminum in its activity, or in its affinity to etheronic influences, is more easily acted upon, the effects received by those influences to which it is conducted upon the etheronic waves are much more beneficial.
11. (Q) Would it be better to space the laminations or rivit them together? (A) It has been given for these to be rivited together, see, in instructions. And, as we find, for the manner in which the experimentations are to be conducted, be very much better that it be - and that they be - rivited together.
12. (Q) I have in my hands a coil wound with nickel wire, rather than aluminum wire. Nickel is somewhat magnetic while aluminum is not. Moreover, nickel wire has a specific
440-13 Page 3
resistivity of 6.93 - etc, etc., while aluminum is 2.62. From the point of view of etheronic forces, of what value are these facts? (A) As indicated in that given respecting the effect upon the receptive influence of etheronic wave forces from such condensations, while aluminum offers the least resistance and there is the tendency for magnetic influences from the nickle, the effect upon 99% of influences in bodily activity - for which this is being made to be of the better conditions for the active forces in recuperative forces - the greater resistive forces and the higher force as related to creating the magnetic field for activity. And makes for the requiring of a more sensitive application in the operator, in operating the machine. This will be seen by the actual experimentation, that the field with the coil that is wrapped with the nickle, rather than aluminum, will have a greater field of activity through these influences. Hence, as we find from these sources here as being the better to use.
13. (Q) In tuning for plants, do you tune for self first or as we understand set left dial at 12, right at 27, and tune center dial until resonance ceases? (A) As indicated by the use of the machine in this field of activity, it is to be in the field of the experimentation of how these influences from the radial activity of such an instrument are upon life flow forces. In the matter, or the effect that plant life with its flow of the emanations, or as may be truly called the pith or the flow in the plant itself, is as of the susceptible influences that may be seen in the animal or especially in human life as the closer akin to the effluvia in the lymph of a body. Hence as to how this instrument will act upon plant life by tuning same to self and then used as either a constructive or as tuned to a destructive influence upon plant life gives for the operator a concept and a principle upon how this applied to the human body is MADE to be of greater beneficial value in human life. Just as is considered in some quarters - not wholly correct - that experimentation upon animal life of a nature that propagates more speedily than others, as upon guinea pigs or upon the hare or upon the dog is beneficial in arriving at conclusions as to the effectiveness of induction of forces into the matter, or into the life of the physical forces of man. Here we find with a more perfected instrument to the influences of a universal nature that come closer akin to life itself, or that universal force that we call spirit or God. And when it is realized that that portion in matter that is taken into the body of man from
440-13 Page 4
plant life, and from the active forces, is from this very essence that the experimentations are to be made upon, how much more effective, how much closer are the experimenters or operators to the very force or vitality in the body to which the experiments are to be carried for an effectual activity in the affairs or in the life of the body of man itself. Hence, as indicated in those indications for the use of this upon plant life in specific locations where there are the evidences of the necessity of plant life in that vicinity calling upon nature, not as is known in other environs where that the moistures of the air, where the soil itself that is acted upon by the influences that have come to be known as the means or modes of sustaining life in plant, but rather that as here in this vicinity that draws upon the universal forces themselves rather from the night and the day - that are so close akin to spirit itself. Hence these experimentations must mean in this environ of a greater benefit than were they carried on in others. Yet when the final experimentations, they must be made upon that that is life or FOOD to the body itself. And there will be from the etheronic energy in various foods in the vegetable, in various fruits as may be seen to be the character of those influencing that to whom the body itself may be applied, see? Hence we have not the mineral that is not possible of being assimilated for a body, but those forces that are of assimilation that work with the etheronic energy gained by the body itself and applicable to the influences for the weal or woe of the body.
14. (Q) Then, as we understand, 12 is not a fixed number on the left hand dial? (A) These will of necessity find their vibrations as related to the body operator in their application to various elements. And a grade may be made for all of these. This was, as indicated, for an experiment on a particular territory and particular actions in this particular place, for the fact of the greater ability of the reception or receptivity into the machine.
15. (Q) What part of the plant should we place in the drawer? (A) Any portion that carries within it the life of the plant, whether the root or whether the living force of the body itself.
16. (Q) Should it be there at the same time as the smear, or replace the smear? (A) If it is being acted upon as that which is of value to the body, with the smear. As it is experimentation on the plant itself, replace the smear.
440-13 Page 5
17. (Q) Have you any suggestions as to the construction of the core of the coil, which I hold in my hand? (A) As we find, the construction here has been on the right principles and is in accord with that as may be for conducting the better activity through such an instrument.
18. (Q) Would a stronger magnetic core be better? (A) We do not find it so, for we do not make the magnetic field of such a nature as to draw IN and not be able to send out.
19. (Q) Do you find that the condenser wrapped with the nickle wire will be satisfactory in locating the lapis? (A) Be satisfactory in locating the lapis.
20. (Q) When tuning for lapis, is the following correct for the entity, [440]? Starting with left hand dial at 23 (smear in drawer), turn toward 0 to point of resonance. If this does not occur, start with 23 and turn toward 100. Now remove smear and replace with sample azurite. Tune right dial for resonance. Now remove lapis and proceed with it in large circle in order to discover points where resonance occurs. (A) Correct.
21. (Q) If resonance occurs in more than one place, which direction should I go? (A) That where the resonance, of course, occurs the strongest.
22. (Q) How should the center dial be used? (A) There may be indicated from the center dial as to the depth or as to the distance in which you will find that producing the resonance.
23. (Q) By the use of thought? (A) By the use of the very change that comes by the use of the center dial in drawing or pulling to the point of measurement, see? Not only in thought, but rather in the very active principles of that demonstrated by the very production of resonance itself in the fields as indicated, don't you see?
24. (Q) Explain more in detail the settlement "Etheronic energy IS mental control." [GD's note: See 443-5, Par. 18-A on 1/9/34.] (A) A thesis of 184 pages may be written, my son, on this. But etheronic energy is the emanation from the spirit force through the active force of that which makes for matter being held in its positive position, or in its space of activity. Hence thought as of a body, whether of an animal or a plant, is shown as of plant receiving in its freshness of vigor influences that come from or through the etheronic energy in its activity upon the body, in the expression or upon the plant as in its expression. Hence things that are
440-13 Page 6
equal to the same thing are equal to each other.
25. (Q) In grounding a person at a distance for healing, what material should be used? (A) Copper or nickle? Copper.
26. (Q) Upon what conditions should this be used? (A) Copper, would be, of course, with the greater principles; for these act with the effluvia of your blood supply. Nickle - more into the nerve reaction.
27. (Q) Would it be well for me to go to ..., Va. and use this instrument on [Mrs. [267]] while waiting for answer from House? (A) The body, [267], will respond to the use of the machine. It needs it; it has merited it. It would be well, whether waiting - or whether you're waiting with someone else.
28. (Q) Should the north pole of the core be adjacent to the actual north pole? (A) This the correction.
29. (Q) Is there any other advice or guidance for this body? (A) As indicated for the body, and for those that have through the giving of themselves in thought and in activity to creating an influence in the experience of others that may mean so much in their expression of their portion of life, remember these carry with them their responsibilities also. Keep self, then, in accord with that thou knowest to be in accord and in the realm of that best within thine self, that thou wouldst have expressed in thine brother. For, as given, "As ye sow, so shall ye reap." For these influences, these forces that are lent to thine own understanding must be returned with those as thine Lord, thine God, would require of thee. For to whom much has been given much is required. Be ye faithful to that thou knowest.
