Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [442].

2. Now, as we find, there are physical conditions in the body that were there the proper relationships established in the physical functioning of the body we would prevent some disorders as disturb the body, and later prevent much that might be very detrimental to the better physical functioning of the body.

3. While these conditions are of a GENERAL condition in some respects, they are of specific disturbance in other portions of the system, yet with the balancing of the coordinations between the nerve forces of the body with the circulations in such a manner as to make for a coordinated activity in assimilation and distribution for re-vitalizing forces in the body, we would bring better and nearer normal reactions.

4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them physically, with this body, [442] we are speaking of:

5. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY, we find there are the indications of the disturbances in the circulation as made from those of periods when the pressures in the arterial and vein circulation are not normal. These arise not only from those of disturbances in the organs as related to the circulatory system (not the heart, but the liver with the heart and lung circulation) but also disturbances in the quantities of poisons as accumulate in portions of the body, and not from an organic heart disturbance.

6. As to the elements in the blood supply from that indicated, there ARE times when the poisons of toxic forces by accumulation of dross or ash or improper coagulation taking place, leave heaviness in parts of the system - as indicated in the circulation, in the head, in the eyes, in

442-2 Page 2

the throat, and at times heaviness across the lower portion of the body, where the hepatic circulation becomes disturbed by the activity of the toxic forces that make for a form of uremia or the activity of same in the system.

7. In the NERVE SUPPLY we find as this: In times back there were those conditions in the activities of influences from without that attack the plasm of the circulation as related to the lymph circulation or the white blood supply. This in producing the drying effect in the areas of the secondary cardiac plexus as related to lung and heart action, made for a thickening of the walls of the artery as related to the impulse of the nerve supply along this area in the cerebrospinal system physically and in the pulmonaries more specifically, that has produced not as of scar tissue but at times with cold or congestion it produces much of the same effect and is sometimes called an arterial disorder that affects the heart's action. This is secondary and not a cause (the action in the pulmonary and heart activity), but - as indicated - the lack of revitalizing the blood supply itself has made for the inability of keeping this equilibrium.

8. This affects particularly those plexus or ganglia in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th and at times the 6th dorsal area, and tends to make for an overflow to the head as of dizziness; at others affecting sympathetically the digestive area, through the impulses in this portion of the body, brings to the digestive system the inability to assimilate that taken into the body; thus affecting the glands in the activity of assimilation, or those glands that pertain to the ducts of assimilation and the secretions from the liver, the spleen and the pancreas, and we have an effect as of a cord drawn rather tight about the body at this area. This doesn't always remain, but that FEELING to the body at periods, with dullness in the head, eyes, and a heaviness in the lower extremities. These are natural effects through the nervous system, from this slowing of impulses through these areas.

9. As to the ORGANS of the body themselves, brain forces active, discernments and the activities of the sensory system are rather acute at most times. The natural condition from the impaired circulation from the brachial forces and the secondary cardiac makes for disturbances through the lack of proper circulation to the sensory system; as eyes or sense of sight, sense of hearing, sense of taste, sense of smell, are accentuated and at other times much below normal.

10. In the throat, bronchi and lungs not normalcy, but the disturbances are rather as indicated from sympathetic

442-2 Page 3

conditions, as may be seen from that which has been produced by a bacilli and this activity in bronchials and to ganglia in the area indicated.

11. Heart's action not normal, but under the existent conditions good - and not an organic disorder; sympathetic.

12. As to the digestive system and the disturbances that occur at times with the inability of the lymph to carry on proper activity through eliminations, or to cause the activity of the system to coordinate with the liver, these are rather sympathetic; and WITH the correction of the conditions that may be aided by specific applications, as we find, will aid the whole system in being revivified and able to meet those things necessary for carrying on the best in this particular experience for the body.

13. First we would begin, then, as this:

14. The proper manipulations, osteopathically given, but with the properties that will aid the portions of the system where disturbances are existent to be supple enough (if such a term may be used), or that there may be produced sufficient elasticity in the activity of the muscular forces so that the applications of massage and adjustments may not be so severe, but may be able to make for responses in the area as indicated - from the 5th and 6th dorsal all the way to the 1st and 2nd cervical, but in the manipulations use this as a compound BEFORE the activities of massage are given in the osteopathic manner: To 4 ounces of rub alcohol, add: Witchhazel.........................2 ounces, Russian White Oil..................2 ounces, Benzoin, Tincture of...............1 ounce, Oil of Sassafras.................1/4 ounce, Pure Olive Oil...................1/4 ounce. Shake these together each time before a small quantity is poured to be massaged into this portion of the body as indicated, from the 6th and 7th dorsal to the 1st and 2nd cervical, and in that direction. Not from the cervical area towards the dorsal, but from the 6th and 7th dorsal towards the cervical - just what the body will absorb, see?

15. We would also after such manipulation, then massage, after the fourth or fifth treatment of this compound, use or make corrective measures in the alignment along the cerebrospinal system. Not moving all at once, in the area indicated, where these are necessary for alignment, but as the body will allow for same - see?

442-2 Page 4

16. Also we would use with these those vibrations over the frontal portion of body from the electrically driven vibrator, using the sponge applicator; particularly in those areas of the upper portion of the clavicle or in those about the collar bone, neck and throat. This character of vibration is even better than manipulation, for there is necessarily needed that form of vibratory action to arouse the superficial portion of the circulation, as well as the aid that comes from the activity in the body - as indicated.

17. At least twice each week we would take one-quarter grain of the Carbon Ash; and three to ten minutes afterwards - after this is effective in the body, use the plain violet ray over the 4th to the 5th cervical, see? for one to one and a half minutes. This will merely aid the activity in the circulation to utilize the carbon that is released in the system to be carried into the blood supply to revitalize same at such periods.

18. The manipulations we would give twice to three times each week.

19. The diet should be kept much in that manner that has been outlined for the body.

20. The general activities should be those that would make for keeping the body-mental, the body-physical, in accord with that as the body sets as its desires for activity in this period; for, as indicated, the abilities are there, if there is the physical coordinating so that the mental may act in unison with that desired for accomplishment.

21. Do this, and we will find we will bring the better normal forces for this body, [442], present in this room. Ready for questions.

22. (Q) For how long and how often should the vibrator treatments be given? (A) As indicated, these should be given after the massage with the lotion or compound as given, and adjustments, and would be for a period of two to five minutes at such treatments, or a portion of such treatments - see?

23. (Q) What condition is causing the constant collection of mucus in the throat? (A) That as is indicated by the improper circulation through those portions of the sympathetic cardiac plexus, that makes for the respiratory action through those portions of the system as indicated. These will be clarified by completing the circulation, or coordination of circulatory activities through the sympathetic and cerebrospinal in this particular portions of the body. Caused, as indicated, by that as has produced that as forms the character of scar tissue reaction. It is more as of tissue burned by

442-2 Page 5

temperature, fever, and especially by the activity on the muco-membrane circulation by those of bacilli, of cold, congestion, flu, or the like.

24. (Q) Is smoking harmful or irritating for this condition? (A) Smoking in moderation to most bodies is helpful. To this body over an excess is harmful, but moderation not harmful.

25. (Q) Is the inhaling of smoke harmful to the body? (A) More harmful than would be to some other bodies. Not to excess; but the activity is as this: Nicotine, as indicated from the tobacco upon the system, in most activities is a stimuli. Any stimuli to excess is harmful, but a stimuli that makes for the circulation in that portion of the body may clarify, as it were, the cobwebs, or across from the circulatory activity to the brain, which is by the circulation through the secondary cardiac forces, as indicated disturbances there. Hence moderation. Moderation would mean, for this body, anywhere from three to six to eight smokes a day. Above this will be excessive.

26. (Q) Are liquor or wines, or both, harmful for this body, or beneficial, if taken in moderation? (A) Again where there has been a decrease in the abilities of the body to carry on those of fermentations, there is the necessity for stimuli that does not become excessive, or that the body does not rely upon for its quantity of producing the necessary stimuli for the assimilation through fermentation and assimilating activity. For, only that as forms into gas or into those properties as in certain forms of calories, certain forms of activities that make for the ability of assimilation through portions of the body, as in those activities. Then, characters of wine or characters of liquors. Those that carry too much of fusil oil, harmful. Those that are purified, as in wines or liquors of a high percentage of the spirits frumenti, very good in moderation. For, there is a lack, as indicated, of the proper amount of fermentation for better assimilation. As the activities increase the flow of circulation for the body, these may be reduced or may be taken in such ways and manners as to act for the better conditions for the body WHEN needed, see?

27. (Q) Any other specific foods harmful for this body? If so, what? (A) That that is hard of digestion, or that that carries large quantities of grease or large quantities of fats, is harmful to the body - until there can be created that sufficient for the carrying of, or caring for, this

442-2 Page 6

character of digestive forces in the system. As fermentations are necessary for the assimilation in a body, there must be the proper division of potashes and of iodines in the system. As fats make for those that require an excess amount of potassium activity, then these being of a low activity in the present, with the not sufficient quantity of the iodine content that works with these fats or greases - or fried, or any condition or any preparation that carries large quantities of grease or fats not good. As indicated, there has been outlined a very good diet. These would be very well to follow, changing only as conditions are helped and made more or nearer normal.

28. (Q) Are any physical, mental or spiritual conditions apparent in this body which need correction or purification for it to be in healthy and receptive condition as a constructive channel for development of the higher psychic faculties? (A) The physical conditions, as indicated, need corrections, as to how they may be the more easily reached without causing strain to other portions of the body, with the nearer normal physical body the mental - as well as the spiritual forces have the better channel for their activity or manifestations. The mental body is well balanced, as has been indicated. The spiritual are ever ready for manifestation, when there is given the opportunity. Does the mental and the physical war with those of spiritual influences, they make contending forces within the body; thus affecting the body through the impulses of the whole body as a whole. With the corrective forces, with keeping the body-physical and mental well balanced, there will be made for the better soul or spiritual development, and make life in its manifestations in the self more worth while.

29. (Q) Please explain what is meant by a specific diet has already been outlined for the body. (A) It has been told the body at times what is good and what isn't.

30. (Q) In physical and psychic treatments given this body by Dr. Paul E. Cold with his instrument, Dr. Cold has established this body's cosmic number as number 9. Is this correct? (A) Most too low for this body. As has been indicated in the activities, these should be worked with any of those of the psychic forces as from 23. While true the physical resistances in the system have been low, but - as we would find - the vibrations from those of psychic influences would vibrate for this body nearer from 14 or 15 than from than from 9. Six is a natural consequence in numbers for most

442-2 Page 7

any disturbances where those of the properties or elements are disturbed where low vibrations have been, but 9 for this body is too low. As we would find, these of the psychic forces from those of the vibrations from those applications as may be made in the cosmic forces from atomic influences in the system may be better as a preventative than curative for this body. For, were the coordinations established, these would be the influences that would aid most or be the more helpful. We would do this, as has been outlined.

31. (Q) What is the significance of the 14 or 15 in relation to this body? (A) As to that as to which the vibrations will make for the better of raising the resistances for the building up of the body, see? As has been indicated, these we would NOT disturb or use until a better coordination has been established.

32. (Q) Is there a physical condition which causes my sense of dizziness on high places? If so, can this be corrected, and how? (A) The sense of equilibrium is established rather in that of the oil, in the balance - see? and is hence a portion of the sensory organism equilibrium. If this whole coordination is made better for the body, these will of themselves adjust themselves. That the experiences of each soul has in its activities in a material plane brought those impulses for this or that body as it has for this, one that in sight of or conscious of being in positions where there may be the feeling of the precipitating of self or body into space, is apparent, is builded within - but so far as the PHYSICAL condition, this is caused by the disturbance in this equilibrium in the sensory organism.

33. (Q) Can you tell us from whence this feeling comes? (A) In those experiences, as has been indicated in the body's activities. In the present accentuated by the lack of the proper circulation through the coordination or incoordination of the sensory organism. Follow those conditions that have been outlined, and - as we find - we will soon bring to this body, [442], an elasticity in the step, in the movement, and an outlook upon those things material, those things mental - and SPIRITUAL things will take on a new meaning to the body.

34. We are through for the present.
