Time of Reading 10:55 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [445]. As we find, the general physical conditions may be said to be rather good, considering the whole general conditions of the body. There are conditions apparent at times that cause disorders in the system, the corrections of which - we find - would prevent distresses later on, and improve these tendencies that arise for or towards disturbances in the physical functioning of the body, [445] we are speaking of.

2. These, as we find, have to do with specific portions of the body where there is the tendency - or has been the tendency - for slow activity; hence accumulations that have been made distort, in a manner, the functioning of that particular portion of the body.

3. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [445] we are speaking of, present in this room:

4. The BLOOD SUPPLY indicates a very good balance in most of the organs of the system. At times, however, we find the indications of those disturbances that produce or cause toxic forces to be manifested in the body, producing in the lower extremities - as in knee or feet, at times in hip, small of back - a heaviness, and at others rather acute conditions. This is not a form of rheumatic condition, neither may it be said to be neuritic, yet it is a pressure on nerves that cause the distresses; and the causes and positions we shall see.

5. When there are the exhibitions of toxic forces in the body, these also produce at times a dull, mean character of headache; not often, or over often, but rather bad tastes in the mouth, with a heaviness at base of brain and through the eyes and temple. At other times there is a tendency for food not to agree with the body, and the body in its mental activities overrising same prefers not to use foods at such times.

6. In the NERVE FORCES of the body, rather than impingements or subluxations in the cerebrospinal system or in the sympathetic system causing the distress, the disturbances in the nerve forces are produced by other conditions. For, the effect to the nerve system is not the nerves producing the effect, but the condition producing the effect in the nerves. These may be seen in their manifestations in those centers that have been indicated, not only in the lower limbs at times but at others they cause a character of reflex condition to the fingers, to the arm, to portions of the shoulder, but not as severe nor as often as those in lower portions.

7. As to the ORGANS of the body themselves: Brain forces and their activity we find well preserved in the distribution of that which has come to the consciousness of the physical body as in relation to the care and the protection of same. Hence the emotional body, as well as the physical body - in the greater portion of the experience, has been kept rather in abeyance to the will of the body physically and mentally. Not that conditions have not arisen at times where necessary activities, necessary changes even, were better for the physical activity, yet these have been controlled more by the will than the physical forces controlling the will of the body.

8. Throat, bronchi, lungs, larynx, show very good activity. No organic disturbances. Reflexes at times produce disorders, but not from arising in any of these organs.

9. Eyes, ears, the feelings of manifestations in the activities of the sensory system, are above what may be said to be normal for most bodies; for, as indicated, the emotional body - as well as the physical - has been kept under the control of the will.

10. As to the heart's action, when there are the effects of toxic forces the pulsation shows some increase. The pressure in the blood supply shows some increase. Not abnormal for the condition, but with the correction of that existing in the colon area these would not disturb the body.

11. The digestive activity, through the stomach, the liver, the spleen, the pancreas, the activity of the gall ducts, show only disturbances that come sympathetically; an extraordinary activity, considering the general conditions and the disturbances that affect the body at times.

12. In the colon, then, do we find the area where in the present the greater portion of the distress arises. In the transverse and descending colon there is the tendency for engorgement and prolapses in the lower portion. Hence the activities in eliminations at times do not function

445-2 Page 3

normally, and there has been the tendency for the influences to produce toxic forces in the system. At such periods, or preceding or succeeding such periods of distress, there is the tendency for the activity of the kidneys - the secretions from same - to be excessive, although dependent upon the manner in which the nerve reflexes or plexuses become involved from the pressure that arises from the engorgement or plethora condition in the colon itself. Also the tendencies have existed for the folds in the lower portion to at times give distress. These are reflex, and corrections would cause a much nearer normal continuity or normal reaction than exists in the body in the present.

13. Then, in meeting these conditions, the activities should not become such as to exercise or increase to excessive activity the mucus membranes of the intestines, as to produce a flushing only of the system; for these would not reach the causes, and would only make a tendency for depleting the vitality without bringing stabilization to the physical forces of the body.

14. Hence the activities in the diets, the eliminations, the exercises of the body-physical, should make for corrections in such manners as to make them constructive in the physical activities of the body, [445].

15. First, then, we would use occasionally the enemas of certain characters or types; as in this: Not too high an enema in the beginning, else we would produce irritation to those tendencies of prolapses in the lower portion of the colon proper, without reaching other than through irritation the real distressed area. Hence, while a high colonic would be helpful, it would be too severe. Hence high enemas, using in same, this: With the first gallon and a half of water (tepid; not cold, not hot, but tepid), put a level teaspoonful of salt and a heaping teaspoonful of baking soda; this dissolved well. This will make for tendencies of creating the eradication of pressures, and an antiseptic activity with the hypogastric influences through the emunctory circulation, as to being normalcy in those areas where the dilation has made for the pressures in varied portions of the system as to disturb the nerve forces. Then, in the last half gallon of water used for the eliminations, we would use a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline, which will act as an added antiseptic, RELIEVING the condition and leaving the tendency for an alkalinity that is not excessive but will be aiding towards supplying the basis for the corrective forces to be bettered in the body.

16. As to the matter of diet, be mindful that the foods are

445-2 Page 4

kept rather in the excess of alkalins. Though the activities of the body have been well in these directions, do not use too much starches with too little of the proteins. Keep a well-balance of the varied activities in the forms of those necessary elements in the system for replenishing the activities of the glands of the body. And we will find we will make for better physical forces in this body.

17. Ready for questions.

18. (Q) How often and how many enemas should be taken? (A) In the first month we would take two, in the next month one. Necessarily, after that, take two if it becomes necessary or is felt by the body to be more in keeping with normal activity, but not too often; nor do not allow accumulations to produce excess toxic forces.

19. (Q) No special type of exercise recommended? (A) As given, the exercise would be well. That which would be of the circular motion of the body above the diaphragm; arms, shoulders, head, neck, and the bending exercises of mornings; and those portions below the diaphragm of evenings. Do not attempt to take these too strong in the beginning.

20. (Q) Anything to say about the thyroid gland? (A) With the activities of the system as indicated, there will be the removal of those distresses that have accumulated or gathered in the colon area. This is congested. There is not an excessive nor too little activity in the thyroid gland at present.

21. (Q) Is there any trace in the body of deposits of elements from aluminum, due to cooking the food in aluminum? (A) Where aluminum is used as the cooking vessels, and the food is directly in contact with same, there are produced those elements ever in the human system that become detrimental; unless there are certain characters of vitamins that make for the activity of certain glands in the body. In this body, as we find, there are certain traces; yet these having been changed or altered do not leave other than indications in the eliminating areas - as indicated.

22. (Q) Please give the most helpful balance between the relation of the acidity and the alkalinity in the body. (A) In this body, [445] we are speaking of, we find - as indicated - there has been a tendency at times for the excess of alkalinity, both in the upper portion of digestive system and specifically in the lower portion of digestion and absorption. While it is understood that for the proper fermentations, that assimilation may take place properly, there must be the periods and the portion where excess of

445-2 Page 5

alkalinity predominates and where acidity predominates, to keep the balance for this body, as indicated, use those elements that are in the bacilli activity of food values that make for the excess (not too great) of alkalins, and this will tend to overcome these conditions that have produced the condition that is as the basis of the distresses. The percents of these would be not too much starches, but a balance of starch with the protein, in the proportion of what might be said to be a 10% solution acidity and a 90% alkalinity.

23. (Q) Has there been in this system an over stimulation to the kidneys from drinking too much water? (A) As we would find, and as indicated from the condition, rather has the excess of water taken been most helpful; for it has tended to wash the kidneys, and this pressure in the left portion of the body, where it makes for at times the tendency for this activity in kidneys when not an excess water taken or too little, with at times when excess water is taken. Rather has this been beneficial than harmful.

24. (Q) What other suggestions besides those given would be of assistance in controlling the flatulence in the colon area? (A) The exercises as indicted, the watching of the diet as to the proper balance of those forces as indicated, and the enemas with the character of the antiseptics and the tendency for relieving activity in the mucus membranes in the circulation, as we find, would be the most helpful.

25. (Q) Is there any treatment known today in the field of electro-magnetic treatment that is superior to the physical treatments being used? (A) If physical electro-magnetic treatments are given by those who have the ability to store within themselves those energies that may be transmitted to bodies, nothing surpasses. Where these are not, or individuals are not able, the low form of electro-vibration that may emanate from the lowest form of electrical activity would produce similar and helpful conditions, and sometimes equal to and surpassing some electro-magnetic treatments.

26. (Q) Is there any contra-indications for the moderate use of stimulant such as coffee and tea? (A) In most indications in bodies, in THIS body here, we may use that as indicated for the benefits of the body. FRESH coffee, or that with less of the caffeine, is helpful as a stimulation to most of the gastric actions of the body, but NEVER should it be taken with cream or milk.

27. (Q) Is there any indication in the system of the incipient stages of poliomyelitis? (A) Only that indicated from toxic forces or refuse forces

445-2 Page 6

in the body; and these are not in action or activity in the body at the present.

28. (Q) Would you outline a specific diet for the body? (A) This would be indicating to a teacher the A B C's of diet! for rather the indications have been given as to how to keep the balance between the acidity and alkalinity, and how to keep a perfect balance between proteins and starches. We have not indicated the others, for the body understands better, as to the sugars and the necessary influences taken. But keep the perfect balance, as the body knows well - and the changes may be brought. Follow these.
