R E A D I N G
Time of Reading 5:10 to 5:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [448]; this we have had before.
2. Now, as we find, while there has not been outwardly a great deal of change in the physical reactions in this body, there is taking place - in the causes and in those conditions that have disturbed the body - the changes that are for the better.
3. These may be seen the greater in the impulses that have been and are being created and manifested in those portions of the body where disturbances have been.
4. In meeting the needs in the present, we would continue in those activities that have already been outlined for the body.
5. Do not allow the applications to become as rote for those that make the application of those things that are to act as the powers and influences that awaken the muscular reactions in the system, or of those things that make for the preventing of a coordinated circulation.
6. Be careful that at all times the anodes or plates are kept perfectly clean, and that when attached they are firmly set with the pulsations in the portions of the body to which they are attached.
7. Some minor change in a portion we would make in the present. Before the applications of the massage we would use a vibration of the deep manipulations by electrically driven vibrator, that there may be the stimulation in the circulation to the superficial activities in the body, and by the deeper manipulation more in those ganglia and areas that have been indicated as to where these were to be applied in the plexus particularly that have to do with locomotion. And then, after ten or fifteen minutes with this vibrator - or the deep hard applicator into those

portions particularly (4th lumbar, 9th dorsal, 8th, 9th and 10th dorsal and the 3rd dorsal and, of course, throughout the cervical area) - use the massage.
8. In the matter of the diet we would keep those things that make for rejuvenation to blood and nerve energy in the system; not that making for excess of fats, nor an excess of muscular reaction, but the very natures that should be coordinating and cooperative with the activities of the body, yet that supply those vitamins and elements in the system that those stimulations as are being created will have that assimilated in the body upon which to build.
9. These are using, then, in the mechanical way and manner, those influences that act upon the material and the mental forces as the etheronic, or the power of spirit manifesting in flesh.
10. Keep joyous in self. Know that as He has promised there will be given thee as ye need His power to endure, to meet and to overcome whatever may be in thine experience, if ye will but trust in Him. This is both to those who apply and those who receive the applications.
11. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) Has the massage been given properly? (A) Very good. Just as we have indicated, be mindful in the massage that it doesn't become merely a period that "I must give him the treatment and be through with it," but that it is for a purpose, it is to accomplish something, and that it will be accomplished if it will be applied in this way and manner.
13. (Q) In regard to the jar in which the battery is placed, is this the correct size? (A) Just so that it is not metal, and that it is at least an inch above the water or the ice in which it is placed in the using.
14. (Q) What should be done in regard to the enlargement of the heart? Is this condition serious? (A) This condition is only an outgrowth of the labored activity of an over blood supply which is receiving the best applications through equalizing same to the extremities of the body.
15. (Q) What is the condition of the gall bladder? (A) This, while not perfectly normal, is in rather a very healthy state. Do not over gorge self. Keep the eliminations proper, as indicated. All of these disorders are but secondary to the renewing of the vitality in the system.
16. (Q) What is the real cause of the trouble in the left foot?
448-2 Page 3
(A) As indicated from those things first given.
17. (Q) Will you outline a diet for the body? (A) This, as indicated, should be of those properties that are nerve and blood building, without making for the conditions that would become objectionable or obtrusive in the active forces in the body itself. This, then, would be as an outline, though altered to meet the requirements or the needs or the tastes; for one that has been accustomed to or has built a habit of such customs must be gradually changed, else detrimental conditions might arise from same: Mornings - principally citrus fruit juices and, for this body, preferably mixed rather than any one; or stewed fruits or fresh fruits, but not these and the citrus fruit at the same meal. At times there may be taken coddled egg, preferably only the yolk, and small portions of very crisp bacon, with brown bread - preferably toasted. Any of these, but not all at once, for it would be most too much. Noons - preferably altogether RAW vegetables. Celery, lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, spinach, any or all of these may be used with oil or mayonnaise - whichever is the more preferable to the body. Evenings - occasionally onions, raw and cooked, with the cooked vegetables, and with the meats preferably - if taken - of fish or fowl or lamb. Not other meats, unless these are objectionable - and if objectionable, any of these, learn to eat them, for they are much better for the body.
18. (Q) Any other suggestions for this body at this time, or for those who are treating the body? (A) Remember that given. There is a privilege, there is a duty, in each. Many might ask, or self might ask, why such conditions came into the experience of either those that must minister or those that must wait. That ye may know the better the acceptable year, the acceptable day, of the Lord.
