1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [449].
2. Now, as we find, there are many disturbing factors in the general physical body and these contribute to that which has been called or determined as the dissenting factor in the activities of the physical body; producing rather a complication. Hence there has not been the ready response expected in some directions.
3. These, then, have to do with many varying conditions in the glands, in the functioning of organs as affected by these in the activity to the re-establishing of the balance between the used energies and forces in the body and the general reaction in system.
4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [449], we are speaking of:
5. THE BLOOD SUPPLY indicates the deficiency in the digestive system to assimilate properly, or for there being a proper division of the elements that go to make up for activity that creates the proper balance in the plasms of the active forces in the system itself. Hence there is the form of anemia that is evidenced in the reaction, though in some portions of the body this would not be suspected.
6. In the activity of the NERVE FORCES in times back there have been some conditions in the organs of the pelvis and the activities as related to the system in action of eliminations, where scar tissue has made for the effect of pressures on the body as to produce in the nerve reflexes portions of the system where ganglia do not respond at all. Especially is this indicated in the 12th dorsal center, as affecting the organs of pelvis and lumbar area, which is indicated in the manner in which the functioning of the glands are prevented from receiving impulse in activity to

bring about reactions in their activity. Hence the lack of nourishment to these portions, or impulse that makes for the creating of the elements as to supply nourishments, causes many disturbing forces that are seen without. Yet these are the basis or the cause, or that producing the conditions.
7. Many of the ORGANS themselves are at times disturbed; that is, as in the sensory system, as in the activity of portions even to the lungs themselves. These are at times, and at others not so disturbed. Hence, whether in the activity of the capillary or the external circulation, or whether to the organs to which the activities from the impoverished system produce disorders, most of the disturbances are rather reflex than organic disorder affecting the body in the present condition of [449], we are speaking of.
8. So, in meeting the needs, in applying the elements, in making for an activity in the system that would produce and bring about for the body the near normalcy and make for corrections, many of these that even have been doctored as being causes will disappear; because the bases or the reasons for these disturbances will have been removed. Hence, as we find, these would be the greater influences and the activities; while these would be an alteration from many of the influences for such conditions as indicated in others, these would be better applied in these ways and manners:
9. First we would begin with small quantities of the Animated Ash, or Carbon Ash, to make for the ability of the blood supply to react in the system in such a way and manner as to clarify much that has been disturbing in the form of eruptions or forms of conditions in various portions of the body; irritations without; so that the circulation may be altered or changed to a better clarification of same. Take one-eighth every other day, or a quarter grain capsule divided into one-eighth grain quantities.
10. Thirty minutes after the Ash is taken, apply not the ultra- violet but the plain violet ray to the cerebrospinal system and over the diaphragm, and the lower portion of the lungs, throat and thorax, and the superficial activity of the stimulated nerve forces to these portions. The stimulation or vibration from this electrical force will draw into the body, and into the circulation, the active forces created by the Ash in the body.
11. Also we would begin immediately with the stimulation to correct those conditions in the cerebrospinal system, from the 10th and 11th and 12th dorsal, also in the lumbar and sacral area. Corrections should be made as well as the

general manipulation.
12. And a stimuli of the violet ray applicator to the organs of the pelvis would be beneficial. This would not be taken more than once a week, and for two to three minutes at a treatment.
13. After the first week we would also take internally the properties in Atomidine, for the cleansing of the system and creating for the activities in the glands of the body that will stimulate the system to coordinate in the cerebrospinal and sympathetic system the proper coordination in the reactions from the mental activities of the body, stimulating and bringing near normal conditions in the body.

15. (Q) How many and how often should osteopathic treatments be taken? (A) There should be at least sixteen to eighteen ADJUSTMENTS, in the particular areas as indicated; the lumbar, the sacral and, specifically, in the 12th and 11th dorsal center; for, from these reflexes - where scar tissue in the pelvis has affected and does affect the ducts of the body - the Fallopian Tubes and the activities to the organs of the genitive system are disturbed by these and hence make pressures.
16. (Q) How often should the treatments be taken? (A) About twice a week the adjustments should be made, and once a week the general massage.
17. (Q) Do we understand correctly that two different violet ray treatments should be taken! One after the Ash and another a general treatment? (A) One after the Ash is a general treatment, the other a specific! The general treatment would follow the Ash, while the specific treatment would be for the organs of the pelvis. Use the vaginal injection or tube for stimulating that activity, so that the absorption will carry on in the system and relieve these pressures without having to have operations for the taking care of same.
18. (Q) How long should the violet ray be given after the Ash? (A) From three to five minutes. The other treatment with the vaginal anode would be from one to two minutes.
19. (Q) Who would be the best one to give these treatments? (A) One in sympathy with that being attempted to be carried on. As we find, there are many of those. Rogers may give them, though he's not very good on the lights. Donnelly, [See 449-1, Par. R2] would be very well, and he's not far away. Or we may find some in New York; Daly or Dobbins. Dobbins would be well.

20. (Q) Any other suggestions for the body's treatment? (A) As given and understood, there are disturbances that SOME have considered as specifics. As we find, many a condition in this body will be changed, from the material activities, correction of these pressures, the relieving of these conditions where impulses have been cut off; and the body will be active and normal - and will be able to build resistance in its system.
