1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [451], present in this room. You will give a physical, mental and spiritual reading for this body, with suggestions for the perfection of each of these, and answer the questions we will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [451], present in this room.
3. Now, in the physical forces of the body we find conditions which may be the more easily corrected now, than were they [if they were] allowed to go on, and ATTEMPT same to be adjusted by the purely natural conditions; for tendencies in this, the developing stage of the body, of the CONDITIONS as related TO the developing mind and body, these will - unless corrected - give distresses later on, as would be harmful to the body's making the better choice, the better development, the better successes in its desires, in its anticipations, in its activities.
4. These, then, be conditions as we find them with this body, [451] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find below normal in its quantity and quality, due to the character of assimilations in the system; for the tendency of the system is to create too much of the acids in the system, making for those of the formation of gases in intestinal tract, sourness and indigestion in the stomach proper, and a hindrance to the circulation.
6. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find there are MINOR subluxations, or adjustments needed in the cerebrospinal system, that the body may be able to relax the more normal, and that with the ability to relax will come that ability to be more ACTIVE in the circulation as related to the internal and external circulation, or a stimuli to the capillary and lymphatics will AID the coordinating of the eliminations as related to the excretory system, as whether determined by those of the hepatic circulation or those of the pulmonary circulation. This, as will be found, also will aid in the
451-1 Page 2
activities of a normalcy in vision, in speech, in expression, and in that of the imaginative force OF the body.
7. In those FUNCTIONINGS OF THE ORGANS, we find these are very good, save as to the POSITION of the stomach itself proper, which tends to be LOWER than should, and unless there are corrections must gradually INCREASE the characterization of acidity of digestion and the activity of the hepatic circulation.
8. In the correction of these, we will find that the proper adjustments along the cerebrospinal system, with the giving of those properties as will tend to create more of pepsin in the cardiac and lacteals in the duodenum, will make for a better characterization of the digestive system. The manipulations should also include that as will make for those corrections in the 4th, 5th and 6th dorsal region. This releasing of the pressures existent there will release those conditions, too, that will make for bettered conditions in the head circulation. In the characterization of the diet, these should be of a nerve and a blood building, and OCCASIONALLY the usage of that as a thyroid solution will aid materially in the correction of this circulation, see?
9. In the mental forces of the body, these we find good. The discernment above normal. The imaginative system, as related to a coordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal, well. Execution, as related to the arts, is in accord with this imaginative force; also those of the outdoors, or nature, appeals most, and in this field - whether as art for Art's sake or the commercialization of same - will be the field through which the efforts OF the entity should be expended; whether these relate to wall paper or booklets in an illustrative sense, these are the fields of the greatest exercising of the activities of the entity.
10. In the mental forces also will be found, that will the entity [if the entity will] - in its relationship to the physical forces of the body - keep that at-onement of purpose as is related to the divine that must operate from within through the spiritual body, these will keep in accord with the DESIRES OF the entity. Desire being of a threefold nature. Keep these ever in thine mind as development. The PHYSICAL is the manifestation of a mind directed in the one or the other ways, either as the fulfillment of desire that is of spiritual mindedness, or fulfillment of desire that is tempered with the gratification of SELFISH interests. Keep the at-onement; and the usefulness, purposefulness, the
451-1 Page 3
abilities to magnify the divine within, will become the desire of the life. Ready for questions.
11. (Q) Give cause and treatment for coated tongue? (A) The condition as exists in STOMACH, as given, makes for this condition. Naturally, with the position of stomach, with the conditions existent of an over acidity, makes for such conditions.
12. (Q) For swelling of skin upon scratching? (A) The poor circulation, as has been described, as related to the lymphatic and capillary circulation, not coordinating with the deeper or internal circulation.
13. (Q) For rheumatic headaches? (A) The character of eliminations and position of stomach. The treatments as have been outlined, correcting of the conditions - the diets being of the nature that is nerve and blood building, the eliminations of such natures as to create a normal equilibrium of the conditions necessary for the building UP, and not USING up, of the nerve and blood energy.
14. (Q) What is cause for horror of insects and caterpillars? (A) This makes for those innate forces, or produced from innate influences as have existed in the experience of the entity. Hence FLOWERS, and their attributes, are beautiful. Plums, grapes, peaches, as they blossom - or as they bloom; but insects that go WITH same make for horrors.
15. (Q) Will left upper wisdom tooth come through properly, or will tooth in front of it have to be removed? (A) Tooth, as we find, with the correcting of CONDITIONS in system, will be much aided as to the proper position. As we find, the wisdom tooth best be removed, eventually.
16. (Q) Name a place of employment best suited for entity's vibrations. (A) Those as would have to do either with wall papers that are of pattern making, or of perfume manufactures. These, as we find, are - then - either in Paris, or in portions of New Jersey.
17. (Q) How much should she give of her earning capacity to charity? (A) Ten percent, as all should. [Tithing - Deut. 12:6; Heb. 7:2]
18. (Q) What mental attitude should be assumed toward people who upset her vibrations? (A) Keep that as has been given, as respecting the attitude the entity should assume; knowing that the desires are of a threefold nature. Spiritual, physical, and material. Two are the gratifications of self. The other is the keeping of that divine force that is within. The mental is the builder, for thoughts are deeds - they may become crimes or they may become miracles, whether guided by the spirit of
451-1 Page 4
truth, or as to the gratification of self's own interests. In the same attitude as one would be dealt to, so keep that attitude - as to how one, whether an enemy, a friend, a foe, or what not - "As ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them." So fulfillthe law of love, that - "As a man soweth, so shall he reap." As an attitude is held towards another, that is gradually builded within self - and one may hold self aloof from another until there becomes such a barrier, even through those conditions of thought, as may SEPARATE one from another - but it may be builded in love, builded in that of preferring one above another, preferring another before self. Mind not high things, but condescend to those of low estate, for even as HE gave, so may WE in the activities of our daily life, though we may be attuned to that position wherein art becomes a portion of self, and one becomes attuned to everything in nature; yet nature IS a manifestation of every form that we may see of the divine, making force manifest of the Creative Energy; for "In Him we live and move and have our being", and to make, or to hold one thing above another is to be idol worshipers.
