Time of Reading 6:15 to 6:35 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Body & enquiring mind, seeking information, advice and guidance, as to her physical, mental and spiritual development. You will give that which will be helpful at this time, and answer the questions that may be asked regarding the different phases of her life.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [451]. The body-physical we have had before, the body-mental in its advancements and developments we have had before.

2. In the physical forces of the body we find there are tendencies for certain portions of the cerebrospinal system to give distress, and these subluxations that have not as yet been wholly corrected cause over-anxiety at times in the mental. In the physical we have headaches; sometimes, with long activity, a sort of nausea; and the indecisions arise from much of the pressure that exists in these areas.

3. We would, then, more perfectly make corrections of the subluxations that specifically exist in the dorsal and the cervical area.

4. Also, in the physical forces we would take exercises morning and evening; and be sympathetic and consistent with them! The morning activities should be for the head, neck, and the upper portion of the body. The evening activities before retiring would be of the lower limbs, the bending, and circling of the waist. This will relax the body in such manner as to make for better reactions to assimilation, better reactions to the nerve forces of the body.

5. In the mental activities or attributes of the body in the activities, there are those forces or influences that - with the physical conditions - disturb and make for some discouragements; yet, with these corrections physically, we will also find that the outlook mentally and spiritually

will be in such measures as to make the activities and the life forces more worth while in the experience of the body. And, as given to many, to retain in self spiritual force - give out! Select, or invite, or make for such associations; as there are the abilities and activities within self, within self's associations, that there may be given out that which has been and is helpful in THINE own experience. And, as these are given out - not in long-facedness, not in any activity that has any idea of presenting sorrow, sadness or the like, but rather - find, and demand in self, in others, the JOYOUSNESS in living. For, as given of old, "Be ye joyous in the service of the Lord," which is only making known to thine associates those that are the fruits of the Spirit; as kindness, gentleness, long-suffering, brotherly love, patience - and Love. For these are indeed the fruits of the Spirit, and these in the daily activity in the experience of the body will make for the consciousness of the indwelling of those promises that were made by Him who is set as the ideal in thine heart and mind and soul, that "If ye love me, keep my commandments, and I will not leave thee comfortless but will come and abide with thee. A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another."

6. In this application, not the great things - but being gentle, and know, even as He gave, "In patience possess ye your souls." For, patience is not as of not getting mad; not as of toleration; for tolerance and patience are as opposite as hate and brotherly love in their field of activity. For, patience is becoming aware of that which is the impelling influence in thine experience, while tolerance is as holding your tongue when you want to say something bad!

7. Then, in the activities as related to these, these will not only aid in creating greater influence in the experience but will make for joyousness in the everyday activities of life.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Explain condition at base of spine which causes severe pain at times. (A) The end of the coccyx has been pulled down. There is a tautness, by a sympathetic condition that exists in the 3rd and 4th dorsal, and reflexly in the 3rd and 4th cervical; but the reaction from these in the dorsal and the cervical, with the alignment in the coccyx, will relieve these pressures. Have that done!

10. (Q) Give some suggestions for bettering general health. (A) Nothing much better than that as given, in making the corrections in the cerebrospinal system, that the activities

of the body as related to the whole assimilation, that the whole activity of distribution of used forces in the system, will be cooperative with that which exists in the body itself. These would make for, and are, those things necessary; but, as indicated, the activities of the mental body as related to the physical body will also make for the activities for making the life more joyous within itself.

11. (Q) Is it advisable for me at this time to gather a group of young people to study with them the occult sciences? (A) If there is perfectly understood by self as to what occult forces mean, very well! It would be better along the lines of self-development in that which may influence the psychic influence of the soul or of the body, rather than occult; for this is rather too severe for the mind of young or old, unless well grounded in that which is from the beginning. But that pertaining to SELF-development would be excellent! [A.R.E. Group work studying A SEARCH FOR GOD lessons?]

12. (Q) What line of study would you recommend? (A) Self-development; as to knowing what, how, where, which of the influences in the experience of individuals or of souls may be that which is active in the mental or the soul or the material forces of a body.

13. (Q) What was meant in my husband's reading that I have my own life to live in regard to going to business? [See 430-2, Par. 8-A, on 11/6/33.] (A) That each and every soul has that within itself which will make for the answering of that necessary for the soul development of that entity. And if these conditions, physical and material, require - not the satisfying, not the gratifying, but rather - the ability for self-EXPRESSION, then consider these. For, each soul in its expression in a material plane bears witness within itself of that WHOM and WHAT - it serves, by the manner of life. There is either, then, development or retardment. There is the going forward or the sifting or slipping back. Hence, as given, let each study to show self approved unto God, keeping one's self unspotted from the world in its conception. Not that there is not to be cooperation, but where one, two, three, may gather together in their efforts to make for cooperative influences in their experience to serve and develop their souls the better, He has promised to be with thee. So live.
