Time of Reading Set bet. 10:30 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., N.Y.
1. GC: You will give the physical conditions of this body at the present time with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [457]. This we have had before.
3. Many of the changes that have come about with this body since last we had same here are for the better. The childbirth for this body has, if there is not undue activity or strain, been beneficial for the body physically as well as more than just beneficial for the body mentally and spiritually.
4. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) Is there an average period of time necessary between birth of one child and conception of another? (A) Two years at least.
6. (Q) Will giving birth always be easy for me or can this vary with each - child? (A) Has been with this body due to the care taken before childbirth. If mothers would only know that a good gynecologist of the osteopathic school would save more mothers from hard labor! as it has with this; though to be sure, the mental attitude as well as the physical activities cause variations at each birth.
7. (Q) Is the uterus position back to normal? (A) Near to normal, but a discharge has occurred from irritation from contraceptives used at times, and for this irritation we would use Glyco-Thymoline douches occasionally. These should be body temperature and we will find we will correct much of this disturbance.
8. (Q) At the time of baby's birth was there really no milk coming into breasts for nursing, or was it due to lack of encouragement and care at the hospital? (A) No, really no milk coming. This is a natural condition that occurs in most every case, especially when a long

period has been before childbirth, as here. This activity would vary in a conception at the present, for these conditions vary a great deal.
9. (Q) Is it possible to assist the Creator in keeping the size of the baby in proportion to body-build of mother so that delivery can be normal? (A) Better leave that to the Creator and take care of your own side of the problems. To be sure, diet and activity control a great deal, but you do your part and the Creator will do His part according to what measures of faith ye manifest.
10. (Q) Is the period of twenty-four days between menstrual periods normal for this body? (A) Correct for the present.
11. (Q) Are colonics also of value to body when not pregnant, and if so how often? (A) Value to the body when not pregnant, or when pregnant, if necessary. For a laxative take Senna leaf tea, using four or five of the leaves placed in an empty cup and then pour hot water on it and let stand for thirty minutes to forty-five minutes, strain and drink it. Do this about once a week and it will be good for the body, as it does not become habit-forming and is a correct laxative for most individuals; though not everyone.
12. (Q) Is the exercise for hemorrhoids [as given in 2823-2] being done correctly? (A) This is very good but we would use the injections as given for this and allay the tendency for the protruding folds in the sphincter centers in the anus. [See 457-9, Par. 20-A on 5/21/42.]
13. (Q) Should combinations of glycerin, carbolic acid and mineral oil also be used? (A) This has been given before [in 457-9, Par. 20-A]. Prepare and use as indicated. Do mix the glycerine and carbolic acid very thoroughly before adding the Nujul or Usoline.
14. (Q) Is it advisable for the body to take Calcios also when not pregnant? If so, how much and how often? (A) Not necessarily but this depends on the diet. If the diets are those carrying a good deal of calcium, don't, for you can get too much, and with your temperament, you can get your heart too fast.
15. (Q) Are osteopathic treatments as given best for body or are there any instructions? (A) Very, very good. You have an osteopath that is good. [Dr. Geo. N. Coulter, D.O., substituting for Dr. Frank P. Dobbins who is in the Army.]

16. (Q) Are eyes still in good condition? (A) If the head and neck exercise will be taken more regularly, it will be better.
17. (Q) Would the Mullein Tea be good for body now also? If so how much? (A) Not unless there is trouble with varicose veins or the tendency for a dropsical condition through the pelvic areas. This taken occasionally is not bad for anybody and it will be very good for you.
18. (Q) Does it make any difference whether the Mullein is dried or fresh? (A) Does it make any difference whether cabbage is wilted before it is boiled? It should indeed be fresh, not as in people, but as in the vegetable kingdom; not applying to people being fresh, but plants used for medicinal purposes, the fresher, the more active the better. And there is quite a variation between green Mullein and dried Mullein, but whichever you use, use the same all the while.
19. (Q) Should Maltex cereal be continued for breakfast or is it too fattening when not pregnant? (A) It is very good when there is the desire to take a whole grain cereal. This is not fattening, but the combination ye make with it produces that.
