Time of Reading 8:00 to 8:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.J. (Body and enquiring mind. Questions regarding physical condition, associations and connections.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind of [459], present in this room; this and these associations we have had before. Ready for questions.

2. (Q) What is the physical condition of this body? (A) In a general manner, as we find, the physical condition is very good. There is a tendency for the activities in portions of the system to separate to form accumulations or sacs. [GD's note: She died 30 yrs. later with cancer of the uterus.] Hence the eliminations, and the activities that coordinate for the elimination and drainage of the lymph circulation throughout the body, should be stimulated - for a better activity.

3. (Q) What type of treatment would be helpful? (A) The massage with electrical treatment.

4. (Q) What type of electrical treatment? (A) Electricity!

5. (Q) The high or low voltage? (A) The high voltage would be better, if you are draining!

6. (Q) How much should she use of this, and how often? (A) The treatments should, of course, be dependent upon how well the drainages are set up. From once to twice a month the massage would be given, followed with the electrical vibrations or treatments that would be applied; either the ultra-violet or the violet ray. If the superficial stimulation is used (that is, the plain violet ray instead of the ultra-violet), it would be necessary to use it more often. [EC referred her to Dr. H. J. Reilly, Ph.T., N.Y.C.]

7. (Q) Any special diet for the body? (A) That in accordance with that being attempted for the system, to set up the drainages. The body should study diet, as it is necessary in the application of those things for the whole general welfare for self and for others!

8. (Q) Any conditions regarding the heart that should be mentioned? (A) An overflow of such conditions (that is, the accumulations in the system) produces a metabolism that is not normal; but no organic heart disorder.

9. (Q) Regarding my ... School and Camp, what is the outlook for it? (A) This is not a very good question! It is too general, or too broad! Depends upon the manner in which same is conducted, as to the outlook on same! As to the possibilities, GOOD! As to the facilities, very good! As to the manner in which it is being conducted, not so good! There should be rather the systematizing and budgeting of the whole operations!

10. (Q) Is there any association that should be taken into this work that would help promote it? (A) That which will help to do those things necessary to make the success!

11. (Q) Would Annie Cayce's association with this work be beneficial to all concerned? (A) In some respects, yes. In others, it might not be so good. This would depend upon the ability of each to make for themselves that activity which would make for cooperation and coordinating of the efforts on the part of each.

12. (Q) In what capacity? (A) General Assistant.

13. (Q) Could [Mother [325]] help to improve this school? (A) By supervision, yes. By activity, no.

14. (Q) Should Dorothy Kahn and Marion Ornstein be made teachers? (A) When the numbers of the pupils justify same, yes; and when there is the budgeting and coordinating of the activities. But to have a wonderful school in numbers and have leakages in this or that, or corrections in this or that channel not cared for, doesn't mean much - it doesn't get anywhere!

15. (Q) Would Annie Cayce and I be congenial? (A) It would necessitate or require that there be the activity of the will on the part of each! When it is understood just what is to be accomplished, and it is set in order, very good.

16. (Q) Would the work be too hard for Annie Cayce? (A) Not necessarily. Not if it's budgeted and classified correctly.

17. (Q) What sort of arrangement should I make with Annie Cayce? (A) That depends upon how well, how active, and what is to be done! This should be done by setting forth to self as to

459-6 Page 3

what IS to be done and what is required! Then, as each is able to fill her place in making that in hand be budgeted in such a manner as to meet the needs, fine!

18. (Q) Would her coming bring into the school extra remuneraation, so that her salary could be paid? (A) Extra remuneration in saving, if not in other ways! and in other ways, as we find, as the abilities of self may be expended in the directions necessary.

19. (Q) When would it be best for her to come? (A) Whenever it's ready!

20. (Q) How could new contacts be made for clientele? (A) By going out and seeking same!

21. (Q) To what agencies should I go for clientele? (A) As indicated and given, the school has become a matter of rather a mixed characterization - which will not be so good if continued. When clientele is sought, it should be - - as given - in certain ages and activities that are normal, that carry the associations of constructive influence throughout. Hence first decide WHAT is wanted, and don't step over because you need it - but make the school of such a classification as to meet the things properly!

22. (Q) What age child should be taken? (A) It hasn't changed!

23. (Q) Should we have a nursery school and pre-school? (A) It hasn't changed!

24. (Q) Where could I obtain endowments for scholarships? (A) The first requirements necessary are that the school be on a basis that it may meet the needs of the kind or character of clientele it is seeking to benefit! Then go through those agencies or individuals that are interested in such activities, whether they be of clubs, societies, foundations, or what not; for, when the school is set in order, such groups or individuals may be induced to endow certain scholarships.

25. (Q) Could Mr. Gilbert help? (A) ANYBODY could help!

26. (Q) Would he help? (A) If the school is classified properly, yes! As any other will!

27. (Q) What should be the approach to Edgar Bamburger of West Orange? (A) Through the channels that the body is interested in.

28. (Q) Would he be able to assist? (A) Be able to assist.

29. (Q) Should I stick to the pre-school, or enlarge classes? (A) To enlarge classes and not be able to take care of same is to burden self and become discouraged! If the conditions

459-6 Page 4

or classifications of the activities are necessary. GROW from day to day; not by whole terms!

30. (Q) Regarding the boys' camp for the summer, would it be advisable to engage as Camp Mother Mrs. Cannold of High Street, Newark? (A) This doesn't seem so good. There are others much better. Be some conditions arise there that will not be satisfactory.

31. (Q) Who would you suggest as Camp Mother? (A) We wouldn't suggest! We would classify and clarify conditions, and then more than those necessary will present themselves for the job! Then select them!

32. (Q) Is there any other work besides the School for which I am better fitted? (A) One fits self by using that in hand; and as the qualifications and abilities expand in any direction the activities may be chosen by the body!

33. (Q) How can the School further the work of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.? (A) When there are the necessary needs of that which may be had through those offices, make the connections. Let this be an outgrowth; not an ingrowth! [Ck. Physicals followed for her mother, Mrs. [325], and for her sister, Miss [460].]
