Born December 16, 1896, in Lexington, Kentucky. Time of Reading 10:40 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y.
1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place, and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '26 - changes '18 - changes - " - etc., on back to birth date. Then EC said "[... Mae]" - evidently a middle name.)
3. We have the entity and those records of same here, now known as or called [459].
4. In giving the interpretations of the records here, much may be said respecting the abilities, the virtues and the faults of the entity; the intenseness with which the entity goes at that it has chosen or does choose as the mode or manner of activity.
5. The entity oft becomes SO intense as to lose sight of purpose, in the desire to make material manifestation of a material success.
6. But we choose these phases of the entity's temperament, character, urges latent and manifested, abilities and faults and fancies, with the desire and purpose that this be a helpful influence for the entity; enabling it to find that which will be a stimuli towards the fulfilling of the purposes for which it entered this material experience.
7. For, each soul, each entity, enters not merely by chance but through the grace, the mercy of a loving Father; that the soul may in and through its own choice work out of those faults, those fancies, as would prevent its communion wholly with - and an atonement with - the Creative Forces.

8. Hence, from the life experiences in the earth, the material and mental circumstance, and those latent forces from astrological aspects, we find these as a composite or as a heterogeneous mass of urges, latent and manifested, in the present experiences of the entity:
9. We find the high mental ability as indicated from the Mercurian sojourn, and yet so tense as to oft disregard counsel or advice from others, with that innate and determined desire to be self-sufficient, and to rely upon the OWN abilities. These at times reach such proportions as to become those problems in material associations that cause misunderstandings. These HAVE been in the environ, in the association, and bring problems in the experience.
10. In the latent urges from the Venus influence we find an appreciation of the beautiful, in things, conditions and experiences, as well as in things that to the mental body represent that termed the arts in man's experience. Those things of the home are the closest, and yet so associated, so affiliated oft with the material environs of the others as to bring problems to self, and a wishful hoping for things that to others are not always practical.
11. Hence we find the entity hoping for, or putting confidence in things that to self may be very real, but to others are but shadows and shells, and NOT material environs.
12. Thus we find the entity oft catching, as it were, the glimpse of spiritual things that DO NOT materialize - in the social, the marital, and even the home relationships. Not that these truths as truths do not exist; but rather that such are to be approached SLOWLY, and become GROWING things in the experiences of individuals. They may not at all times be relied upon as practical, material things, but are mental processes building material things that will be experienced in the lives of others, rather than in the experience so much of self.
13. We find in Saturn the sudden changes that have and will come into the experience to the entity; and these by that force or influence that is mystical - as those influences oft FELT by the entity - finding the material manifestation in that called death, or separation, or changed environs; that have been and are so a part of the entity's experience.
14. Then, in considering the urges that arise in the emotions of the body, through the material or earthly sojourns - we find that all of these may not be indicated here; just sufficient to give or to show how and in what manner both the talents and faults may lie in bringing urges into the present experience.

15. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, near unto the areas of the present sojourn.
16. Hence the present environs are not altogether as foreign, but are rather those that have brought some of the greater opportunities in the present for being the missionary - which is a latent influence, as we will see, from MANY VARIED angles or phases of the spiritual, mental and material development.
17. For, during those periods when that portion of the land was under a siege, as it were, from the activities during the Revolutionary period, the entity's activities as a maiden brought questions from both sides. Also there were periods when there was questioning within the entity's own self, as to whether it favored the Colonists or the adherents to the principle of the motherland rule. This was manifested by the manner in which those in authority for campaign activities questioned and relied upon the entity during that particular period.
18. Because of those uncertainties, we find there is still in the minds of many (who are of a certain mind or temperament) a questioning as to just how sincere the entity is in its activities. Yet this very DOUBT, this very fear that is manifested in the minds of others, becomes a potent determining factor in MAKING the entity, in its OWN MATERIAL activities, more determined to carry through those choices made by the entity.
19. Thus we find a factor, a condition that becomes constantly a basis for confusion with those with whom the entity may attempt to coordinate its material relationships.
20. (This aside: That just given is worthy of being closely analyzed by the entity itself for its own enlightenment, and for the making of decisions as to its choice of activity in the present; as well as of being analyzed by those who would associate themselves WITH the entity in a definite establishing of any routine activity for the entity in the present, and it considered wise not to be too easily upset by those estrangements or deviatings from those things as associations progress.)
21. It may be said that the entity in that sojourn gained and lost - hence in the present the entity should be guided by that experience, that the same stumblingstones are not allowed to be a part of the present activities.
22. The name then was Susane Eppler.
23. Before that the entity was in the Roman and the Palestine land, during those periods when there were the activities in which the Holy Land was being subjugated or ruled by the PURPOSEFUL taxing of the land for the support

of the Roman empire.
24. There the entity was used by its own people, as well as in the latter portion determining of itself, to break the rule of those peoples upon the land. For, the entity became the companion of a Roman guard - that to the entity, and its associates and family, was as an unbeliever.
25. Hence the entity knew of those activities in Rome, for it went back and forth from the garrisons that had been established in the various portions of the Holy Land.
26. But when the entity became closely associated with the activities in the TEMPLE, there came the determinations to RENOUNCE those things that had been a part of the social or material life.
27. Thus we find in the present experience of the entity a desire to hold to that of ritual, rote, as pertaining to such a service; yet a hope for an affiliation or an association with those of other interpretations of spiritual life.
28. Such were a part of the entity's experience throughout that sojourn, with the vision oft of those things that had been a part of the entity's activity before that.
29. Then the name was Endoren.
30. Before that the entity was in the land of promise during those periods of turmoils, when there were the judges in the land; when because of the famines the associations had brought about periods of unrest.
31. But with the return of Naomi and Ruth, and with the wedding of Ruth with one of the entity's own peoples, we find that the entity became as a companion-mate to Ruth in her preparation and the bringing about of the new interpretation of the old order in the land. [See 459-1 Background]
32. Hence the entity became in the position not of one holding a grudge, nor yet of one holding to a worshipfulness, but rather one who did worship the purposes, the aims, the sincerity in the character Ruth; and her offspring were cherished, nourished and taught by the entity.
33. Thus the school, the home-school, the home training, the home activities, the home surroundings were a part of the entity's activities through that sojourn; not exactly as might be termed of State, for it was much more personal than the name would indicate. The entity's activities were as an interpreter of spiritual law, a trainer in the mental environ, and a creator of material and home environ.
34. We find that these same characters of activity and characteristics are a part of the entity's better

development in the present experience.
35. The name then was Sen-Door.
36. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods of turmoil and strife, when there were those activities that brought about the banishment of the Priest.
37. The entity was a companion of the Priest's body-guard [now her brother, Mr. [257]?] during those periods of banishment; though the entity favored rather the remaining in the land than being banished with the Priest's group. Thus we find that disputations arose with the companion as to the causes, results as might be obtained by the associations and material activities. Yet with the return, and with the uniting of activities, the entity became more in accord with the purposes of the Priest and his activities - and these brought for the entity a better understanding.
38. The name was Leu-Sat-Su.
39. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:
40. First - know as to what are the purposes, the desires, the hopes. There are in the present the problems that are a part of the experience, but take things, conditions and circumstances where they are - not merely where you wishfully think, hope or desire that they are!
41. Meet the problems first, though, in the spiritual; then the mental and the MATERIAL results will become more satisfactory.
42. As the law has been and is a portion of the hopes - as the associations are still many of the problems of the moment - find the solution in the choices as in keeping with these:
43. Thou hast seen the way of the Lord. Thou knowest it to be good. Depart not from same for the satisfying or the gratifying of material wishes or material desires. For, the law of the Lord is perfect; and they that seek to follow in His way shall not find themselves among those disturbed, nor among the children of want.
44. Ready for questions.
45. (Q) What shall I do to fulfillthe prophecy? [See 459-1 Background.] (A) This is before thee, as has been indicated that of thy own body there might come one who - if he chooses - might become to the people of promise such as did the grandson of Ruth.
46. (Q) What can I now do regarding this prophecy? (A) It's DONE! The only thing now to do is to encourage the son [1856] to fulfillhis purpose in the earth; in becoming the minister, the teacher to his people! [See 1856-1, Life rdg. for son.]

47. (Q) How should I assist my children in fulfilling their life work? (A) By making for them a home, and a background for the choices made by them. [See 1856-1 and 2444-1.]
48. (Q) Should I continue the home-school as designated when my children were young? (A) That the children have grown away from and beyond the home-school would indicate that this phase of the experience is completed - unless there may be made associations or connections with others, which appears not to be plausible. For, as we have indicated, it is hard for the entity to work with others. Thus, as we find, it had better be - the activity of the entity - preferably in some field in which the entity may make the HOME for the children in the present, rather than in the school. The school and camp may be an outlet as a part of the entity's abilities, but as we find this should be rather periodic, or educational work now; and the labors rather be in that direction of assisting to MAKE contacts with individuals for home furnishings, home decorations, home preparations - letting the teaching be rather in Sunday School, or in definite periods for teaching certain groups of children, see?
49. (Q) Should I continue the school next semester - February? (A) As we find, the sooner there can be made those associations or connections to consider, now, the preparing of self for assisting in home decorations, the better it will be.
50. (Q) How can my brother [257], help me in this? (A) This depends upon whether or not it is through these channels that the help is to come. First, there should be a period of STUDY BY THE ENTITY, in preparation FOR the undertaking to assist those in buying, or in the decorations for homes.
51. (Q) Should we live in ..., L.I. until [2444] finishes school? (A) This depends upon the work that is to be done. As we find, it would be better that there be - as soon as practical - the preparations for the new associations and work.
52. (Q) What about the camp in ..., L.I.? (A) This is a confusing question, with what has just been answered!
53. We are through for the present.
