Time of Reading 10:30 to 11:05 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [461].
2. Now, as we find, there are conditions that may be made to function the more normal and would bring about a better physical condition in the body.
3. The disturbances, as we find, are specific in nature in some respects and quite subtle or quite hidden at times in others. And from the hidden conditions much even of that which appears to be specific arises. For, we have rather an unbalanced condition in the gland activity of the body, producing a character of anemia that prevents the body from gaining in weight or retaining the strength and vitality that is necessary at all times; producing disturbances in the digestive organism and specific conditions to the organs of the sensory system.
4. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [461] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. The BLOOD SUPPLY and metabolism of the system is below normal in the numbers of the red blood cells. The division between that plasm in the cell in the white blood, that acts as the warriors and in the capacity of coagulating elements in conditions where cohesion or the drosses are to be eliminated, is not always balanced. Hence we find these conditions are effects, and the causes that disturb the equilibrium of the functioning organ arises from these. Yet the specific or deeper cause, as indicated, is from the inability of the glands (from the character of that assimilated through the depression or depletion of elements necessary in the body) to bring normal functioning in the system.
6. As to the NERVE FORCES, these - we find - at times are very good; yet at others the body easily becomes disturbed. There is the reaction at times as of worries; cross, irritable, and not meant to be by the body at all, yet the
461-1 Page 2
reactions that are produced in the sensory system and in the imaginative organism or the speculative forces of the mental activity through the sympathetic nerve system show these conditions, produced by the effect of the irritation from lack of coordinating impulse from those same conditions that exist from the lack of elements in the system.
7. As mentioned in regard to the metabolism, it is necessary that a correct balance be kept in the potashes, the iodines, the salts in the system, as related to functioning organisms. This is speaking purely, of course, from the CHEMICAL effect in the body. The salts that are created, of the varied characters, are deficient. Not at all times, for there is the tendency of acidity in the body - produced by the lack of iodines in the system. Excesses of potashes. Hence the metabolism varies in its condition in the body.
8. As to the ORGANS themselves, as indicated from the activity of the sensory system, we find disorders to the eyes; at times the ears roar or buzz; the tendency for colds or congestion to affect the body easily, and the general activity as of a nervous strain in the sensory activity - as in taste, smell, hearing, seeing, feeling. The body responds to many colors; in fact, much might be given to the body about its abilities in the varied effects of colors upon the body, the varied effects of odors upon the body, and MORE so would it be were there normalcy in the activity.
9. From the pressures that exist in the cerebrospinal system, in the upper dorsal and throughout the cervical area - specifically in the cross section of the hypogastric and pneumogastric nerves in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 2nd even, cervical areas - we find there is the pressure to the optic activity in vision, as to tend to make for the contraction; or there was at times a great deal more tendency for cross vision, for there is the activity to make for the vision to be crossed in its visioning of that before it. This is specific, yet it is SYMPATHETIC in the condition that has been described.
10. But, in making application of that which will bring normalcy to the body, [461] we are speaking of, this particular portion must be considered separately and combined or coordinatedly.
11. The heart's action is as indicated.
12. Digestive system, from that indicated we would find nervous indigestion, poor assimilation, inactivity with the liver, spleen and the ducts of the liver; so that there is the tendency for the accumulation of strept that eats or destroys red blood activity in overheating so that the cellular force itself (or the corpuscle) divides before it
461-1 Page 3
becomes perfect in its relativity to the activity in the blood supply. Lack of those elements necessary in creating balance.
13. Then, in meeting the needs of this body in the present, we would begin first as with this:
14. Take internally small quantities of the iodine in the atomic form, or Atomidine. One drop in half a glass of water once each day for the first week. The next week two drops in half a glass of water twice each day for the whole week. The next week three drops in half a glass of water twice each day for the whole week. Then rest a week. Then begin with the one drop once each day, as indicated - and so on.
15. Begin with the neuropathic manipulation and massage, making specific reference to the 3rd and 4th dorsal area and the whole of the cervical area. Treatments, as we would find, would be better given each day; or the osteopathic adjust ments given twice each week, general treatment with specific reference to the centers indicated.
16. As to the matter of diet, here we find it will be necessary for considerable precaution to be taken. Well that the eliminations be kept near normal. If necessary to take alkalin eliminants, as Milk of Magnesia, Milk of Bismuth, or occasionally even the antiseptic solutions of Glyco-Thymoline in small quantities, do so - but keep the eliminations near normal. This would be an outline of the diet, though it may be changed - to be sure - as conditions change in the body:
17. Mornings - citrus fruit juices, with whole wheat toast, coddled egg occasionally, or stewed fruits may be taken - but not with cereals or the fruit juices. Preferably, for THIS body, we would not take CEREAL - especially in the beginning.
18. Noons - principally green vegetables, including all of them, such as lettuce, spinach, raw cabbage, celery, carrots. Occasionally green peas (of course, that have been cooked), asparagus, tomatos (raw) may be added or included from time to time as a salad by themselves. At the same meal take dried milk, not raw milk - and especially not that which has been boiled. Hence ice cream is NOT so good, though fruit ices are VERY good for the body at any time; especially pineapple with those fruit juices.
19. Evenings - well balanced vegetable diet, (cooked) with fowl or calves, liver or pig knuckle or the like. Lamb may be taken, but should never be fried. No fried meat, no fried foods at ANY time for the body. A cereal drink may be very well.

20. Before retiring each evening take at least a tablespoonful of beef juice, but never the beef! Not juice extract, but BEEF juices - and take it very SLOWLY.
21. Do these. Follow these along as we have outlined, and we will bring a normal condition to this body, [461].
22. Ready for questions.
23. (Q) Do we understand correctly that the neuropathic treatments should be taken, or osteopathic treatments? (A) Neuropathic OR osteopathic. The neuropathic every day would be better. Osteopathic twice a week. GENERAL treatment with specific reference to the centers indicated.
24. (Q) How should the beef juices be prepared? (A) Take a pound to a pound and a half of beef - LEAN beef, no fat! Dice it into small pieces, about the size of a good sized marble or the thumb. Put in a glass jar. Seal the jar, no water in same. Put this in water, with a cloth or something in to prevent from breaking or cracking the jar. Let it boil for two to three hours. Extract the juice. Throw the meat away. Season the juice and take it as directed. There will be enough in a pound to last for two or three days. Keep in a cool place. Not beef broth, but beef JUICE!
25. (Q) Is there any specific trouble with the bladder? (A) As indicated from the gland activity, the condition in the opposite end of the hepatic circulation (or the liver and the ducts of the liver) causes a strain on the ducts and the activity of the kidneys, such as to make for irritation; but sympathetic rather than specific, in the bladder irritation. With the iodine (that's why it has been given in such small quantities, until the system is corrected to it), this will clear.
26. (Q) Is the condition in the prostrate gland normal? (A) Not NORMAL, but with the manipulations and the treatment as given, being mindful of the diet and the eliminations, these will clear.
27. (Q) Would there be any other exercises suggested? (A) The exercises of the body are very good, for we have outlined no other specific. These are very good. It will be found that with these properties and treatments being taken, the exercises may not be so severe - but take them.
28. (Q) Any other suggestions for the body at this time? (A) As we find, do these - and keep the body-mental in the attitude of knowing that from within there is being created those elements necessary for the proper balance of the physical body, through which the better mental and physical and spiritual may function. For, the body is the temple.
461-1 Page 5
Keep the temple pure. Keep the temple beautiful.
