1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [462], present in this room, who seeks personal information on this present life. You will please give the abilities of the present and how they may be applied to the best interest of himself, family and all concerned; also concerning an estate and legacy left in England in 1870 to my grandfather James Joyce, of Flat Islands, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland. You will give all information regarding any of these that will be of benefit to the body, and answer the questions as they are submitted.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [462], and those conditions that surround the body, and the relationships as respecting associates, family, and life.

3. In the physical forces of the body warnings should be heeded as respecting the accumulations in system of toxic forces from inactivity of the liver itself, or there may be expected some disorders that would be detrimental to the better interests of the body physically, materially, mentally.

4. As to the relationships and the abilities of the body-entity, there are those material duties that lead the body in associations that are oft in a manner of questionings, and questions arise in the body-mind as respecting the attitude of others and of self as respecting life and its purposes in this present experience. The entity in its abilities, as has been indicated, is one naturally inclined to influence individuals in their activity more by example than by precept, or as much by example as by precept. Hence the activities should be and are such, whether there is the consideration given in this direction or not, that even at times make for these disturbances that arise; for others are influenced by the associations of the body, in the manner of speech and the manner of activity more.

5. In directing self as to the purposes, aims, desires,

462-3 Page 2

these should be kept in a manner that the self will never be called into question by self, as respecting the word or the act of self in relationships to the associates or acquaintances of the body. Not that this would indicate there should never be any joy or pleasure, or activities in the speech or the actions of the body that partake even of the pleasures - if not happiness - of the material things about the body, but walking, talking, circumspectly in all the activities of the body.

6. In relationships to the legacy, as we find, there has been made a record of these changes; for there is a bureau or department where such things are kept, especially in relationships to individuals where legacies in the provinces of the kingdom have been kept, and these may through these channels be carried to a termination that would be most in accord with that desired by the body. In seeking, then, through this bureau, or through this channel, would we start such negotiations that will insure that these will be accounted for, accounted with, as respecting the claims of the body.

7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) Is it right for me to make an effort to obtain this legacy and estate? (A) We would!

9. (Q) To whom should I apply for information to obtain it? (A) There is a regular bureau, or channel, through which these may be applied. In the present it would become necessary that same have the more prompt attention by going through the province, or the representative in the province, that attends to such; that is, they have their regular name, or regular channel, through which one may go - which is the Bureau of Legacies in the province - that is, the Bureau in England, see, while in the province those that are in charge, or the representative of the province in the regular line.

10. (Q) Please give the names of those I should contact to do this. (A) Go through the regular channels for these, see?

11. (Q) Where in England could papers be obtained by which I might prove my claim? (A) As has been given, there are the records in this Bureau. When these are once OPENED - the necessary papers for identification, or claim - which is identification, in the manner in which the records are so far held - would be all that would be necessary to establish the claim.

12. (Q) Whom should I employ to help me? (A) A counsellor in the province in which the claim is

462-3 Page 3

justified, or in Newfoundland - to be sure.

13. (Q) Please give me the names of my great grandparents. (A) These will be found through these regular channels with these. These may be obtained from here by going over many, but it will take time. If you will wait we will get it! [Going back over time for a few minutes. We don't get it here - yet.]

14. (Q) You will answer the next question. Am I doing the work I am best fitted for now? (A) As for the work that is being done is done the best, so does the body fit self for the next best things that develop for him.

15. (Q) What should I do? (A) Keep on keeping on!

16. (Q) What are my future prospects in my present employment? (A) That of supervisor over such operations that are in the activities of the body in the present; then to the bureau of activities - Of course, this will come up to politics later.

17. (Q) Shall I continue to work in Florida? (A) For the present.

18. (Q) If so, how long? (A) In six to nine months, as we find, there will be a change.

19. (Q) Will the move be north or south? and where? (A) In the Delaware region.

20. (Q) How much longer shall I have to continue at this line of work before I can enter on my life work. (A) Eighteen months to two years.

21. (Q) Is my mental attitude toward my present work correct? (A) Very good. Of course, there are times - as has been outlined - when there are questions that arise, but - as has been given - so long as the attitude is kept in that manner of knowing that those activities of self, in its relationships to individuals, both as to those who are on the pier and those who are superior in their official capacities, are guiding or aiding, or abetting in whatever the expressions of their activities are, no matter their position, then these will be kept in the better attitude; for the purposes and aims are well.

22. (Q) How can I strengthen my mental powers? (A) By the use of same, in the application along the lines of making comparisons of associations, in the activities as related to the mental forces of individuals, groups' or persons.

23. (Q) As I was told in my life reading that I had ability as a writer or speaker, what course should I follow? (A) First we would take such as a course in proper English,

462-3 Page 4

as Cody's (?) [NEW ART OF WRITING AND SPEAKING THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, Six Volumes, by Sherwin Cody, published by Putnam] - or some similar, and then begin to make the notes or accumulations for the writings.

24. (Q) What books should I study? (A) The English, as we have outlined here - see, or such similar ones.

25. (Q) How should I prepare myself? (A) Commence, and the preparation works out itself - because it only goes step by step.

26. (Q) Am I ready now to begin? (A) When self is set; that is, the desire is sufficient to urge self on; commence.

27. (Q) Whom should I contact? (A) Contact self first, and self's own abilities, and the creation of those activities that have been in associations will make for the proper contact and association.

28. (Q) Is there any special line of writing I should prepare myself for? (A) These prepare themselves, as the activities begin. First making the notes of that that might be included in WHATEVER direction it may take itself, see?

29. (Q) What astrological influences affect my body for this period? (A) All in certain portions of the country are under those of Libra and Virgo, and the activities of these - with the rising of those conditions that pertain to the physical forces of this particular body - are as of those warnings concerning the large organ of the body and its functioning. As for those mental aptitudes, with the rise in Libra with the activities in Jupiter with Uranus, a more DECISIVE activity on the part of this particular entity. As for the warnings, see that the eliminations - without irritations - are kept active in the system such as to justify the cleansing or the keeping of the organ in its proper functioning.

30. (Q) What will do this, or what specific treatment? (A) Be mindful of the diet, as well as the water and the associations that make for such conditions; using those medicinal properties such as needed for the special activity of the organ.

31. (Q) What special medicine? (A) That depends upon the activities, and where the body is in its activities! which necessarily means in these, and those activities in the surroundings in which it has been

462-3 Page 5

laboring, rather those of the choler barks and the quinines that make the reduction of the tendency towards malarial effects in the liver itself. Or, we may prepare it in this manner: Senna...................................1/2 grain, Cascara Sagrada...........................1 grain, Leptandrin..............................1/2 grain, Sanguinaria.............................1/2 grain, Syrup of Rhubarb..........................1 minim. These may be made into pellets, with sufficient of the powder to make into a pellet, see?

32. (Q) Is this one dose? (A) That's what we have given - one dose!

33. (Q) When should it be taken? (A) When it's necessary! When it's needed!

34. (Q) How often may this be taken? (A) It may be taken every day, but wouldn't be necessary - if the activities are proper. Do as we have given! We must use some common sense along with it! Don't take it when it isn't necessary, but take it when it is!
